The unexpected death of the child star Heather O’Rourke at age 12 cemented an urban legend that was circulating for years: The movie “Poltergeist” was cursed. However, the real cause of her death might be infinitely more disturbing: Hollywood depravity.
The 1982 movie Poltergeist is widely considered a horror classic whose influence still reverberates today. Indeed, if nobody wants to live anywhere near an ancient burial ground to this day, it is because of that movie.
While there have been tons of horror movies released in the past decades, Poltergeist stands out from the crowd. It is certainly one of those movies people seem to remember more vividly than others. Why is that?
For one, Poltergeist is not your typical horror flick with a dark atmosphere and adult theme. The movie was written and co-directed by Steven Spielberg who was simultaneously working on E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial at that time. In fact, the summer of 1982 was dubbed “The Spielberg Summer” because E.T. and Poltergeist were released one week apart.
At first glance, Poltergeist has a similar look and feel to E.T. However, Poltergeist quickly turns into pure nightmare fodder for children. In fact, the movie appears to be specifically made to terrify young viewers.
And millions of children ended up watching that movie because, astoundingly, it was rated PG. Despite the fact that there’s a scene where a guy literally peels his face off. How did that happen? Was it a gross oversight? Not at all.
A 2001 article in The New Yorker revealed that Poltergeist was initially given an R rating by the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) through a unanimous vote. However, after intense pressure by the movie makers (including Spielberg himself), the movie ended up getting a PG rating … by unanimous vote. In other words, the system was corrupted.
And this caused countless parents to believe that the movie was OK for children to watch.
It wasn’t.

There’s one in every room to take you straight to hell! You’re not safe inside your own home, especially at night (which is always strobe-lit by lightning).”

In short, Poltergeist contains scenes that sadistically poke at children’s most visceral fears, anxieties, and insecurities. In fact, according to IMDB, the star actress Shirley Maclane actually turned down the role of the mother in Poltergeist because she “objected to the terrorization of children”.
She clearly realized that there was something wrong with that movie. And, boy was she right. Not only did Poltergeist insidiously prey on children, but the insanely dark story surrounding it lead many to believe Poltergeist was cursed.
Either that or the movie industry is sick.
Before Poltergeist there was “Duel”, where this Jew wants people to fear lorries, and gets an over-domesticated average American to reach emotional wildness by way of terror, a theme like that of Lord of the Flies, a Freudian theme where civilisation is only a thin veneer and we need to scratch it away, perhaps using a controlled trauma, getting in touch with real emotions. Great news for sadists.

The guy casually mentioned Heather O’Rourke and insinuated that the leather on his shoes and some of the material used in his office furnishing like a lamp shade were make from her skin. Where this is true or not I cannot tell, but I would not be surprised if it is true.
Poltergeist is a mediocre film, not worth much. Jewish directors have difficulty producing quality films. I remember seeing it as a kid & thought it was insipid. There’s superior horror films to this: ‘Hellraiser’ (1987), ‘The Blood on Satan’s Claw’ (1971) & ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ (1974) for example…

Another despicable and insidious film in the Spielberg ouevre is “Saving Private Ryan.” Acclaim for this film seems to be pretty much universal. I don’t recall hearing too many dissenting voices.
A cinema audience tacitly agrees to be entrained sensorily for the rapturous duration of a movie. This predisposition of cinema-goers helps to explain why film criticism, for the greater part, disassociates so grandly from philosophic critique and attends so fetishistically to “experiential value” and “entertainment” quotients. There are also, of course, artistic and technical criteria by which a film can be assessed but very rarely, is film criticism contextualized by the film-maker’s predelictions; by the religious or ideological precepts that inform the artistic endeavour: the pre- pre-production, if you like. Revisiting “Saving Private Ryan” upon a consideration that it is “authored” by a Talmudic Jew, is a revealing approach toward a more informed evaluation of the merits of the film.
Think about what you’re actually given on screen. The film begins with a pseudo-historical contextualization at Arlington, with an aged and mournful Ryan, before the prolonged overture to death at Omaha beach.
Now, I wasn’t there, so I can’t adjudicate as to the “realism” of the depiction of Charlie Company’s landings on D-Day but I do know that a bullet’s trajectory is skewed and, its force of impact, deadened by water. The scenes of U.S. Rangers being massacred by impossibly vectoring bullets while they struggle in the surf are very unrealistic. We’re usually told that one of the film’s great achievements is the graphic historicity of the beach scenes. Yet, when I watch the film, I see artifice; a heavily choreographed, mounted Danse Macabre, redundant within the greater scope of the story that develops. It’s an unhealthily morbid theatrical indulgence, if you ask me. Mr. Spielberg must have taken real pleasure from making it – so many brutally slain Americans! Realism, however? Hardly, more like Noahide fantasy.
“Saving Private Ryan” is believed, by many, to be based on a true story. It isn’t.
Yes, there were, in reality, four brothers from New York, who served contemporaneously; three of whom died in combat and the fourth of whom was extracted from the field. That’s the factual barebones, nothing else is true. (In real life, one of the three brothers presumed dead, was later discovered to have been captured and was held in a Japanese prisoner-of-war camp and, in fact, two of the four real life brothers survived the war.) None of the characters in the film are real, including Ryan. The quest to locate Ryan is wholly fictional.
Apart from limbless and disfigured wounded at Omaha, we are treated to images of Americans crying from fear; American soldiers murdering two surrendering Germans; a cowardly and irresolute American army translator; a marksman, who is so devout in his christianity, that he kisses the cross around his neck each time he singles out a fellow christian through the cross-hairs and we also, as a token, get a cocky and courageous young jewish-american soldier. Oh, my.
Worse is yet to come though because when the eponymous Ryan is eventually located, he proves to be stubbornly brave and unwilling to desert his comrades on the front line. Is this a positive portrayal of an American, in a conspicuously anti-American film? No! Just a little tease, on the director’s part, as Ryan is iconoclastically reduced to the status of hillbilly sexual predator and (it could easily be inferred from the scene) a rapist.
Offering a humorous anecdote for the amusement of the Captain and his men, Ryan grins and chuckles as he tells them all, about one of his favourite recollections – the time that he and his brothers cornered a girl from the town in their barn, ripped her dress off and proceded to sexually assault her. He expects his comrades to all laugh along approvingly.
All but the worst among them die in the film. There’s no dignity, no honour, no redemption, no purpose.
“Saving Private Ryan” is covert propagandism, seeking to distil a sense of futility and stupidity into a history of sacrifice. It is a craftfully veiled insult to America and it secretly delights in mocking christianity. “Saving Private Ryan” is loathsome.
