We say we would like to have our leaders say what she is saying, and then we scoff when one of them does. If a Congressman or Congresswoman here in the US were to say what she is saying, that person would likely be censured by Congress, but I can’t imagine one of them speaking so forthrightly, plainly, and…courageously. He or she would be vilified by the media, and the funding for the next campaign would evaporate almost instantaneously. Certain entities would begin scouring about for dirt on that Congressman or Congresswoman too. As for this lady, I’m a US citizen, and I don’t know anything more about her than what I’ve seen on this video, so as to whether she is attempting to mislead or deceive, I can’t judge. Just being a politician of course undermines a person’s credibility. For now, however, I say “Well said!”
