A historian had to explain to Alex that it wasn’t unusual for black people to own slaves.
Fact is, virtually every empire and ethnicity throughout history owned slaves, but kids are brainwashed to think that only white people were to blame.

I always maintain that “New World” Black folk are more likely to have slaveowners as ancestors than ordinary White folk anyway. African Americans and Afro Carribeans are usually at least a shade or two lighter than African Blacks. They carry the genes of their White slaveowner ancestors.
And if I was a “New World” Black, this would be the thing I resented the most: not the slavery, but the fact that I carry the genes of people whom I often hate. And this inner friction, I believe, is one not usually spoken of by Black people to my knowledge.
I’m a proud member of the Heinz 57 variety. My ancestors were poor; some of them didn’t own a mule or an ox. Yet there are a bunch of people who hold me responsible for something none of my ancestors took part of. Division has weakened society, many black folks understand that some movements use them, and don’t partake of them, but many use them for financial gain, some use them as an excuse for their own shortcomings. Life is about moving forward and upwards, there will always be a need to excel. Why hinder healthy competition under the false flag of racial justice?
Whites are the only people who see slavery as immoral, maybe only the English. Christians are relaxed about it , although the English appealed to them to ban it.
