Actually, the war we are all in is the battle between GOD and the adversary, Satan, for the soul of each human being alive today. No religion can save anyone, but the Messiah, Jesus, can save everyone who comes to Him for forgiveness and repents of his former sins, “For there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). And then he or she must continue on in God’s Word daily. There has to be a change of heart.
You must realize by now that things are never going to go back to “normal” so what will you do when there is no more food? Evil men and seducers will increase more and more, deceiving and being deceived (2Timothy 3:13). No man is going to save anyone. You may resist the kill shot for a time, but will you die rather than take it? The hope that men have is to put their trust in the Savior. All other solutions are ultimately useless. A very astute observation, @antiseptic. I find it interesting that no matter the country, there basically is no Constitution, Bill of Rights, Magna Carta, or etc. All these have been laid aside. I see lawsuits being filed, but I see little resolve coming out of those except for may be a small brief relief, which is overridden at a higher level. It is is though the rule of law no longer matters. Very few at the highest levels even take a stand for what is right.
I have never seen anything like this. The basic tenants of society, such as telling the truth, doing honest hard work, resolving to punish high crimes of theft, destruction, rape, murder, encourage marriage and family life have all be laid aside.
