There are so many mindless morons around, that all you can really do is sit back and watch the show and try to stay out of the way. Lots of mindless morons are even fighting to be first to be jabbed. I will enjoy laughing if the predicted dire warnings even come close to being true, I will have no pity on them at all. I used to think a huge part of the world’s population is stupid, now I KNOW it for a fact, it is mind boggling. I have tried to get people to wake up for many, many years and said this kind of crap was coming, that the world is going to be a complete police state (Michael Nield’s “Police State Road Map” is excellent reading if you haven’t seen it), but maybe 5 to 10% of those around me were interested and of those some really woke up to what is happening. If I were young I would be seriously pissed off, but I am nearly 65, have done nearly everything I wanted to do, and am really glad I am getting old. I feel for my 13 year old daughter. Just an observation…there have been no lock-downs where I am since the start of this satanic dumpster fire. Sure, there were some limitations on how many people could be in a restaurant and what not during the early scare-mongering panic, and the powers-that-be preferred the hoi polloi strap on face diapers for a couple months. But there certainly weren’t any big shows of tyrannical psychopathy as demonstrated in many other places such as Australia, England, Canada, France, etc. Hell, my next door neighbors even had a rather large party in the spring of last year during the initial Covid-1984 craze and 1 cop showed up around midnight just to ask them to turn the music down a bit, and the party continued. If that had been Australia or Canada, there would have been a vivid and painful demonstration of police state tyranny.
As I have mentioned in some previous comments, I work as a sports official on the side, as a soccer referee and so on. I’ll work matches at which there are hundreds, if not thousands of people, and I only see a few gullible idiots with diapers strapped to their mugs when I look into the stands.

Same situation in the asian country I live; that is, no lockdowns although the govt has declared a ‘state of emergency’ a few times. All mind games of course but it works for the most part on a very conditioned, uninformed population and probably gives the authorities legal cover for the experimental injections. As far as guns are concerned, it’s the opposite to where you are. Only the police and gangsters carry them. Gun ownership amongst civilians is less than 0.5 percent, which is much less than even Australia at 14.5% (apparently). Avoiding troublesome situations and obedience to authority is imbued in the national psyche so strong enforcement sticks aren’t really necessary.
This mentality is very fortunate for the politicians because the country’s constitution prohibits lockdowns and tyrannical enforcement. I think they’re trying to change that though. The cops are generally restrained and unintrusive compared to what I have seen in other countries of late, and according to the internets they only carry small .38 revolvers anyway. The 8pm ‘mandatory’ closure of gyms, restaurants and bars during the SoE and other ridiculous measures are done through unenforceable rules, so people are deceived or shamed into self-enforcement, (or ‘self-restraint’ as the media calls it). Anyway, most seem to believe these rules necessary and will follow along despite all the glaring contradictions (ie; crowded trains running till late). From my observations the public will often go to the same lengths to avoid upsetting the apple cart as they do the imaginary virus.
On the bright side, there are areas within the cities where bar/restaurant owners have decided to ignore the govt’s dictates and have opened up their shops till late. A friend and I went to one of these areas last week, it was bustling with hardly a mask to be seen :). Some people are starting to see through the BS, even if they don’t know what’s going on in any detail. On the whole it’s not a bad place to be and is safe, with or without guns. As with elsewhere, the biggest problem is that the population rolls over and allows the govt to take liberties which they wouldn’t usually accept. Not sure how far that’ll go.
