Ministers are set to give the go-ahead to the use of gene editing in agriculture which could see altered produce on the supermarket shelves in five years time, inews can reveal.
The Government is expected to issue its response to its own consultation on the technology at the end of the month that will give the green light to the “cautious exploration” of genetic engineering in farming.
The move will mark the biggest divergence by the UK away from existing European laws since leaving the EU, which has banned the technique for years amid fears it is unsafe.
Brexit minister Lord Frost announced yesterday the Government’s intention to repeal EU laws governing the use of genetic editing in the UK as part of a statement on “Brexit opportunities” in the coming years.
He told peers that Environment Secretary George Eustice would “shortly set out plans to reform the regulation of gene edited organisms”.
The lifting of the ban would “enable more sustainable and efficient farming and help produce healthier and more nutritious food”, he added.
Gene editing involves the technique of replacing genes that govern certain traits, such as water dependency, disease resistance and nutrition with better-functioning ones from the same species.
It has the potential to make crops much more nutritious and resistant to storms or pests – and to considerably boost the resilience and yields of livestock, advocates say.

The inews article above goes on to list the benefits of gene editing but it pointedly glosses over the fact that “gene editing” is just another term for genetic modification.
In 2018, the European Court of Justice ruled that gene-edited crops should be considered the same as other genetically modified crops under EU law. However, Brexit means that the European Court ruling no longer binds the UK.
There is still much debate about the pros and cons of gene-editing/genetic modification and I will leave that for others to argue. Nonetheless, there is strong evidence that the harm from another potential health hazard, water fluoridation, far outweighs the supposed benefits.

Fluoride is expected to be added to drinking water across the country after Britain’s chief medical officers concluded that the mineral would cut tooth decay.
Chris Whitty, the chief medical officer for England, and his counterparts in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland cited estimates by Public Health England that adding more fluoride to water supplies would reduce cavities by 17% among the richest children and 28% among the poorest.
They also dismissed safety concerns saying there is no evidence that the ionised form of the element fluorine causes cancer and condemned “exaggerated and unevidenced” suggestions about health risks.

Again this is just a small sample of articles on the suspected health hazards posed by fluoride. Yet Chris Whitty wants to introduce this to England’s water supply, effectively forcing it on the population to reduce tooth decay in children.
Does this really make sense?
If Whitty really wanted to reduce tooth decay in youngsters he could have approved a publicity program aimed at them. It would have been far less hazardous to the health of the general population and a lot cheaper too.
So why has he opted to add fluoride to drinking water in England when the potential health hazards far outweigh the benefits? The fact that Whitty is also behind the Covid vaccination program raises very serious questions about the man and his commitment to public health.
He’s behind a mass vaccination program using a vaccine that has not been properly tested – it usually takes 10-15 years to test a new vaccine, yet the Covid vaccine has been rushed through in less than two years with his approval. Now he has approved the fluoridation of the UK water supply, when there are still many answered questions about fluoride? As has been pointed out elsewhere, fluoride doesn’t treat water itself but it does impact those who drink it and adding to the water supply amounts to mandatory medication.

A week or so ago a few people had the ‘nads to confront this clothes-peg Whitty with some papers regards legal action but he didn’t take them. As far as I remember or at least it was the case years ago (I think I learned it from either the Jonathon Aitken or Jeffrey Archer libel case), that if the man with the papers had simply touched Witty with those papers then that touch is legally considered as papers being served.
If that’s still the case it shows how naive we can be if we try and exercise legal rights ourselves without having a legally-trained representative do it. I’d say government lawyers have made sure Witty knows this and was relieved the papers weren’t served on him by touch, because if legally drawn up in a court as we may assume, then whatever those papers contained he’d be legally obligated to them.

You need to invest in a water distillation unit really, filtering it isn’t enough. It’s amazing the residue left behind by this process – a sort of foul-smelling sludge.
Shop-bought water is contaminated by its plastic container. Only buy water in a glass bottle. And certainly never reuse a plastic water bottle, it’s meant for one-time use only and degrades quickly, releasing harmful chemical compounds into the water.

The tagging theory is really a branch of the control motive, not just for AI systems ready to go, but likely necessary for the complete financial, economic, social, political and heath management of our lives. This view says that the entire pandemic is a Plandemic designed according to and following the 2010 Rockefeller Foundation Coronavirus lockstep pandemic script to usher us into their pre-announced New World Order [UN Agendas and WEF and bankster Resets], and that the vaccines will create either a linkage or a dependency to lock us into their systems of total surveillance and control. In my view that theory, which is likely true in the big picture of things, does not explain the present pressures and the rush very clearly. In answer, others have said to me that it does because the Plandemic pretext is unravelling and running out of time, especially with fewer and fewer people dying, and this is their only opportunity to tag people and to key them into their technocratic controls.
Then of course there is the culling motive where some believe the vaccines have been deliberately loaded with toxins to kill off the common people in our own nations or to make them infertile. Also, it may be that the mRNA vaccines will make those vaccinated extremely vulnerable to the next flu virus to come along and kill them off as with the earlier mRNA experiments with the animals. However, such an intent lacks any real historical support regarding the actual culling motives of the elites which has always been directed toward the weak, the unwanted, and the “underclass” in our own nations and in third-world nations, who presently remain largely unvaccinated. The potentates in the “first-world” nations are clearly not interested in culling their own kind any more than they have. Their main targets of their population-reduction policies of the elites has always been at the underclass and people they deem as inferior.
It is same folks who have been running the world for the past 200 years, the head powerbrokers of the West, whose primary goal appears to be radical-population reduction, as their way to solve all of the “sustainability” perils which they have either created or totally exaggerated as pretexts to their ends. If culling is their objective then the victims would not be those they have deemed as “essential” and necessary to the support of their entire power structure. The targets would not likely be those being vaccinated and therefore perhaps the vaccines may be virus-specific to a virus yet to be released to cull over the half of the world not yet vaccinated. That theory at least explains the present pressures and frenzy.
Alternatively, the culling motive of the elites could be accomplished on a very selective basis regarding all of those they can vaccinate and tag into their systems. Yet, the main culling targets of the elites regarding sustainability issues and alleged “over population” is not with those who are vaccinated, but rather those within a number of Muslim nations and all throughout Africa, as well as in most of the poorest nations of the world, and these people are not likely to be easily tagged and keyed into their AI systems, because they remain mostly unvaccinated despite all of the hype to reach them, where in any case they are not dying from Covid.
