When we disregard freedom and freewill and advocate power and willpower, we have solid logical arguments that are “inescapable”! And our views are very different than those of Nietzsche. One can not overcome loss of willpower, the sentence suggests that there can be a substitute for willpower which is not true! But what we should talk about here is the philosophy of “ESCAPE” as the video here is talking about forward-escape in contrast to backward-escape.
In one of Iran’s research centers, under the category of Strategic Cinema there were studies on the subject of Philosophy of Escape and Cinema of Escape. There are numerous movies, serials and books on this subject dealing with different types of Escape, just to name a few in no particular order:
1- Prison Break

(A few trying to escape from Nazis- military escape)
3- Birdman of Alcatraz
(Escape from Prison Island)
4- Papillon
(Awesome movie, different escapes including from a prison Island through many years!)

(Escaping from mental asylum)
6- Robinson Crusoe
(Escape from island)
7- Treasure Island
(Escape from island)
8- Lost
(Group trying to escape from an island)
9- Cast Away
(Escape from island being completely lonely with a ball as friend)

(The part when he is stock in the island and held prisoner by the little guys)
11- Gulag
(Escape from soviet camps – during the escape to survive they eat their own and become cannibals!)

(getting stock in a platform prison where food only arrives from top on a slab and after a few levels there won’t be anything left for the lower levels, it is a must watch!)

The West has been more and more concerned with the idea of individual or group Escape and not just Escapism since 200 years ago. The escape can take various forms: from self, mind, fate, family, society, deadly puzzles, planet earth, time, etc… and specially from an island!
From a psychological point, those who commit suicide are trying to escape! In movies though they usually show a man or woman who is trying to jump off some place high but he/she makes a big deal out of it so they are noticed and then some cool headed guy tries to speak sense to them. This means the victim or one who is trying to suicide is willing to find an escape rout if hopefully it can be found! But then the dialogue of convincing him is Confession-Based style! So the will to suicide or the compulsion to suicide!?
There was a time when I had to write about the difference between Suicide and Sacrifice to defend the Palestinians or others who fight in suicide-style against an enemy that has superior weapons. Those days are gone though but still it is crystal clear that liberal societies don’t have the will to fight. Instead they are interested in escape and freedom. Can we morally justify every escape? Of course not, indeed in military terms escape is essential and special-forces have to undergo courses for it and one can make many hours of captivating movies about it. BUT this level of attention and concern for ESCAPE in the western societies is not natural!
We had to look through our own (Iranian) literature, books, stories, poems, myths, movies, etc… throughout history to see if we too value escape this much and to our amazement, it was almost none in comparison!
So it is indeed clear that ESCAPE is definitely a concern of modernism and specially a western and liberal phenomenon. In fact suicide and drugs are extremely high in liberal societies; in Iran the liberal society has not even produced one Martyr, and yet we have many Shi’ite volunteers who signed to fight ISIS for example. Other than suicide, alcoholism and drug addiction, add music, computer games, porn and other forms of entertainment… these are all escape-mechanism.
Do doctors have the right to help a doomed patient to commit suicide?! Again mainly western subjects.
We can talk about past revolutions, velvet-revolutions or even why Yellow Jackets can’t set off a real revolution despite being around for so long, or why Kissinger’s revolutions all failed eventually… or talk about why Indian revolution did not have any cultural aspect and still English is their official language!? or how hard was it for Che Guevara to do guerilla warfare in that relatively small Cuban land and what was the real results after revolution… or why Russian and French revolutions were so violent… and then compare all of them with Iran’s Revolution… but this would be become too long.
But there is something really amazing… when you speak of Western Liberal-Market-Democracies and liberal civilization in general, it is widely accepted that it all started from Truva, moved on to Athens and Sparta, then moved on to Rome, then to France during Charlemagne and then Germany and finally to England… and finally after World Wars to USA. So the western civilization has even Escaped from Geography!!!
Instead of Escape, in Islam there is a better substitute (هجرت) Hegira is a medieval Latin transliteration of the Arabic word meaning “departure” or “migration”, among other definitions…. which is kind of like settlers go to a new place and settle. However as there is no more land left…. instead of seeking to escape from the planet, just learn to move from your current condition to a new condition! Nowadays it is possible for a successful secession to gain power and autonomy. Iran has helped people around the region to become self-subsisting nations and even groups such as Hamas that can’t be destroyed despite immense pressure in such small lands! They now can make their own missiles and drones literally out of trash! They can dig tunnel networks and create underground cities. All it takes is WILL, surely people in the west should be able to do this.
To conclude, you must fix your language through etymology and epistemology, you need to get rid of invader-concepts that have kept you imprisoned, you need to break mental-idols such as Freedom and Knowledge, you need to embrace orphaned-divine concepts and finally stop escaping! A liberal generation with destruction of family and such crazy bastard-rates… you can’t blame it all on Globalist Jews who themselves might believe that the greatest sin is “Wasting Seed” or weak Christianity that says bastards won’t inherit Kingdom of God not until the tenth generation! Any liberal society that you see around the world has a deficiency in willpower and blood of martyrs. Freedom is the slogan of Satan! For God sake, Freemasons in fact were the builder Djinns that were freed after being forced to build magnificent structures for God by Solomon ع. They had done that for Satan for much longer before…
Assuming you finally fix your language and concepts and stop escaping… you are then just at the zero spot… you will have to learn how to serve a master that respects your “independence” and Satan won;t allow so easily… you will have hypocrites too! Because a divine ruler chosen by God or for that matter any God-fearing ruler can’t go beyond his own people, so he waits for his subjects to catch up. Can you define a society that can serve such a leader who empowers them and ensures their independence? Or would you end up failing and killing that divine leader yourselves?

You’ve been a victim of police harassment. Did you make an official complaint? Have you sought damages?
My next point, the police have been politisied. My father became a PO in the 70s. He said the police were making decisions based on politics and these two officers are doing this on much higher level, but they are so thick that they don’t even understand that they are also being mentally abused. They’ve been sent to your door with no criminal evidence, they’ve not even seen the things you’ve been accused of and they are being conditioned. This week it’s right-wing material, next week it’s thetruthseeker.
The police have two approaches when they come to your door. If they want down the station, it’s just rough and tumble. When they are ‘nice’, they want to entrap you, and you have been stitched up.
These two officers will go away and they’ll both write a deep state report on all the things you said at the door. They might even make inferences about your mental state, even through they’re not vaguely qualified to do so. Just the fact you’ve alledgely been viewing xyz material would be grounds to label you a halfwit (their position) & a danger to the ‘community’. They use community, when they really mean ‘their system’.
You have huge potential to sue the police. The police are being used against anti vaxers, anthropogenic climate deniers & in a nutshell, they are the thought police.

It’s all rather curious, isn’t it? The extempore visit was certainly intended to coerce, with a crude, “we’ve got our eye on you” type of restraint. My intuition is that it was something more than that though. It was surely profile-building. They were checking you out, Simon, to determine whether you merit a dossiere of your own. It could mean M.I.5 stardom.
“Why you” is a fair question and not any one other among us who could readily be accused of the same manner of “infraction”? It may have something to do with different approaches exercised by different constabularies… I would be certain though that the data availed to the police via an i.p. address wouldn’t be substantive enough of itself to warrant investigation of an individual. I would bet my bottom dollar on the police having one or more particularized data bases to cross-reference against all and every name served by the i.p. address. Programs which can be left to run without being monitored, until they go “ping” and alert a civilian administrator to the “undesirable” cross-correspondence quotient now singling you out. I don’t think that you would have been called to their attention without notice of some manner of activist outreach that you’re associated with. It’s there that their attention is focussed. If you can, you should go back over all of your on-line correspondence from last November (I think you said) because it’s not something you’ve spoken so much, as something you’ve offered to do, some practical organizational assistance that you’ve volunteered, that would have brought them sniffing round. Activists are policing-prioritized.
I, personally, would be alert to their reach but continue onward as before.
No escape; grind out all levels of reality exactly where you are.
