What you’ve stated there makes no sense at all. Anyone who knows how computers ‘work’ (and I hear there are still some left alive) knows that. It’s a perfect example of fud. “We ran it through a computer and therefore…” A computer program is just a long list of if statements. There’s no such thing as computer intelligence (laughably called AI). It’s just “if X = Y then Z” repeated millions of times. For those that care, I’m talking at the machine code level – ie. the actual instructions that the ‘computer’ (the processor) runs. That program you mention, if it exists at all, would merely have been a big text searching program, and it would have spat out the frequency of whatever Xs, Ys and Zs they told it to search for. Big deal. The bible was written by people and is read by people (and I hear there are still some left alive that do). A computer is no more able to ‘understand’ a book than a celebrity is to have a heart.

In Exodus 13:12 the Lord was instructing Moses to “Set apart all that opens the womb, and every firstling that comes of a beast which thou hast; the males shall be the Lord’s.” 13:14 says, “And every firstling of an ass you shall redeem with a lamb; and if you will not redeem it, then you shall break his neck: and all the firstborn of man among your children shall you redeem.” Redeem means to obtain the release or restoration of by paying a ransom. The first born males had to be redeemed by offering an animal sacrifice. If a father or mother killed their son or daughter, they would be stoned to death for murder.
