Bob Smith is right on the money. Paris and indeed occupied |France 1940-44 carried on with hardly a blip because the Germans acted civilized and had strict rules for their armies to treat conquered peoples in a humane way. Of course when they faced the Bolsheviks in the Soviet Union it was a different matter. These Bolsheviks were quite okay with dressing up in captured German uniforms to murder Russians and turn them against the Germans. The Mongol troops in particular were like demented savages when they reached East Germany.
If what we are told about Hitler and the Nazis is true, why were there at least 140 Jewish Nazi officers? This according to Bryan Rigg’s book, “Hitler’s Jewish Soldiers”.
