It is awkward for the “owners” to be in a transition phase between religion and science. When they could still say “Trust your priest”, they did, but they know that the public is not very trusting of their latest scientific pronouncements, whether because it is new and untrustworthy, or because their (public) sentiments still belong to religion. I am not interested in helping them, of course, even though I could. Helping them would be an abuse of knowledge.
Anyone who says they are a “scientist” without qualifying their area of expertise in the various sub disciplines of biology, chemistry, and physics is an egotistical fool begging to be reverred as a member of a priestly class.
Hollywood too projects this infalliability of the white coat brigade. We get “hero scientists” who seem to have superpower multi discipline talents. Think the original 1950s “War of The Worlds” or “Independence Day”…
The problem is not “science” but “scientism”, which I might define as something like the appropriation of scientific form for the prostitution of a particular political goal. That’s it, most academic “scientists” are varying degrees of prostitute to the degree their field is being coopted by the cabal.

Most university and corporate scientists these days are no more than diseased whores. They will sell their residual integrity and souls, and do anything for the fix of funding from their pimps, while infecting those who are drawn into their twat studies with every evil disease and virus under the sun.
I wouldn’t categorise myself as a scientist, but as an avid reader. Arguments have been made that the common cold as well as flu are the cleansing processes of toxicity rather than the disease itself. This is part of “terrain” theory that opposes the current “germ” theory. I find the argument for disease being due to a toxic environment very compelling compared to bacteria and viruses – in so far as the latter exist and have been isolated (?) – as vectors of disease.
