The UK government is gradually building up the pressure to compel everyone to get vaccinated against Covid-19. The majority of older Britons have been vaccinated so now attention is turning to younger age groups: younger adults, older teens and under eighteen-year-olds, who will NOT need parental permission to get vaccinated.
From September onwards people will only be able to enter nightclubs and other such venues if they can prove they’ve been vaccinated.
In effect, Covid vaccination will be required if youngsters want to socialize and meet members of the opposite sex.
Apart from ramping-up the pressure to get vaccinated, the UK government is also targeting increasingly younger age groups. This is already happening in EU countries, where a Covid vaccine for youngsters 12-17 has just been approved, and we suspect that it’s only a matter of time before similar measures are rolled out in the UK.
So in Britain and elsewhere, the objective appears to be to vaccinate the entire adult population with a ‘vaccine’ that has not been properly tested but which has serious side effects, which can be terminal, against an ailment that is marginally more deadly than seasonal flu.
Anyone who can think for his or her self can see that there is something seriously amiss here. Ed..

Young people will ‘miss out’ on clubbing and travelling if they do not get the coronavirus vaccine, the Government will warn in a campaign launching today.
Social media channels will be used to plug the ‘Don’t Miss Out’ and ‘Get Your Shot’ message, while Heaven nightclub in London will host a pop-up vaccine centre this Sunday.
Ministers are increasing pressure on young adults to have the jab amid fears uptake could slow, despite more than two-thirds of those aged 18 to 29 already having had a first dose.
The campaign will encourage clubgoers, university students and all young adults to get both doses so they can return to the things they enjoy doing. A Q&A film has also been released featuring Bodalia – a doctor who live streams his own NHSessions DJ sets – talking about the importance of taking the jab.
He has gained a massive following by performing from his kitchen in his scrubs on social media after finishing his hospital shifts.
Last month Boris Johnson made the controversial announcement that proof of double vaccination would be a ‘condition of entry’ to nightclubs and other busy venues from September.
Cabinet ministers have privately questioned whether the policy is only being floated to drive vaccine take-up, but Transport Secretary Grant Shapps insisted yesterday it was ‘not a bluff’.

While United Airlines announced today that all employees would be required to be vaccinated, American Airlines CEO Doug Parker took the opposite approach, stating his airline would stick to incentivizing employees to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
American Airlines Will Not Make COVID-19 Vaccination Mandatory According to CEO Doug Parker
Speaking to Kara Swisher of the New York Times, Parker was asked if he would mandate all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19. He responded:
What we’re doing there, and what we’ve been doing from the start, is putting great incentives in for our employees to be vaccinated. Anyone who is vaccinated by August 31 at American Airlines gets one day of extra vacation in 2022. They get a $50 gift card. And that, we think, is the right way to motivate people to get vaccinated, and we’re pushing that really hard.
So that’s how we intend to do this. We certainly encourage it everywhere we can, encourage it for our customers and our employees, but we’re not putting mandates in place.
His answer marks a very clear difference between American Airlines and United Airlines, run by his former colleague and protege Scott Kirby.
While United is not planning on forcing passengers to be vaccinated in order to fly, it has made COVID-19 vaccines mandatory for all employees in the USA. American Airlines is taking a different approach, instead trying to motivate employees to be vaccinated through a $50 gift card and extra day of vacation next year.
(United is also incentivizing employees with an arguably more lucrative extra day of pay for those who submit proof of vaccination ahead of the deadline)
Is this a better or worse approach to COVID-19 vaccine?
Both American and United want all of their employees to be vaccinated. What’s interesting to me is that while vaccinations have been widely available for months in the United States, roughly 20% of flight attendants and 10% of pilots have not been vaccinated (a number I would imagine is similar at American Airlines).
Now that the two carriers are taking an opposite approach to COVID-19 vaccinations, I will be interested to see if American can catch United over time or whether making it voluntary will always result in a sizable holdout.
CONCLUSION
American Airlines and United Airlines have taken different paths, thus far, in trying to promote vaccination amongst employees. While United is now forcing it, American Airlines is leaving the choice to employees…for now.
