I think the author is indirectly citing the late William Cooper who in 1989 warned against coming to conclusions concerning the book of Revelation. What is not widely known is that the major monotheistic traditions throughout the Judeo-Christian-Islamic denominated world each had their own respective agendas where it concerned their end time prophecy.
