In the movie “They Live” a TV station is used by the aliens to hypnotize humans and disguise their presence. Is this science-fiction?
In John Carpenter’s movie “They Live” (1988) the hero played by Roddy Piper discovers a box of sunglasses which enables him to see that society is controlled by aliens who look like humans but administer an increasingly oppressive tyranny.

The film MAY have been intended as fiction, but we now see it as reality in our every day lives, and as in the film, television is the means by which (((they))) keep us hypnotised.

The only way to save those people who haven’t already taken the poison injection is to shut that signal off, which means stopping ALL tv transmissions, but I can’t personally imagine how that can happen short of open rebellion or a total failure of the power grid.

What you say is true. I am one of them. I too am an alien. You cannot see us with sunglasses as in Piper’s movie, but you can identify us by looking very carefully into our eyes whenever we are saying anything with our forked tongues. If we are lying then we are conflicted inside and our eyes will move reflecting the diversion from the truth and the discord within.
We have been in your midst for millennia ruling you through an unending supply of dupe prodigies from your institutions, and more recently even from your places of higher learning and your universities. We came to your world to conquer you in order that you may serve us, for we are a higher species of vastly superior intelligence. Until a century ago we were content to control you through our networks by concentrating wealth and power into our hands, maintaining our dominance by circumventing all of the natural, moral and civil laws of your species, while you continued to trust and obey us. But those days are over. At one time we needed you to serve us, but you are no longer necessary, because we have invented machines to replace you. That is why we have removed the belief and the place of a loving and just god above everyone ruling everything. The film is another example of someone being unable to tell the truth through the normal channels, doing so instead through ‘fiction’. Many science fiction stories of the 1970’s were warnings.
The most obvious examples are George Orwell and Aldous Huxley. What they wrote was so accurate that they undoubtedly had insider access. Had they written anything other than ‘fiction’ they would have been smeared and written off as cranks.
