There’s a war on for the hearts and minds of children across the U.S. and the battlefield has become the very schools that millions of Americans are required to send their kids for a state-run education. But just as everyone has a constitutional right to speak their mind, members of the audience should never be forced to listen against their will.
In addition to the everyday worries over the physical safety of our children are concerns over their mental wellbeing, a subject that at one time could be largely taken for granted. No more. It’s no secret that many schools are subjecting children to lessons on transgender and alternative sexual lifestyles, as well as the racist ideology of critical race theory.
For millions of Americans on both sides of the political divide, these teachings are ideological heresies that have absolutely no place in the classroom. And make no mistake, people are no longer passively accepting the agenda. In school board meetings around the country, furious parents are speaking out against their children being indoctrinated with the latest madness to escape from the liberal laboratory of social engineering. Yet such teachings are already entrenched into the curriculum and will not go away without a major struggle.
The scene in Loudon County has completely devolved as public comments have been shut off and the school board meeting has been declared an unlawful assembly.
Two have been arrested.

That much was made clear earlier this month when the National Education Association (NEA), the nation’s largest teachers union, voted to support the tenets of Critical Race Theory (CRT), which postulates that the United States is plagued by “systemic racism” and that white people enjoy advantages in life due to their inborn “privilege.” That diabolical and divisive concept, which promises to tear America apart at the seams, is being prepared for export to all 50 states and 14,000 local school districts.
Yet here is a question few are asking: are the constitutional rights of American students being trampled upon in the face of these radical Marxist lectures? The question becomes even more pertinent when it is realized that, according to a YouGov poll, 58% of Americans are adamantly opposed to the teachings of CRT, with just 38% saying they supported it.

In 2010, Roger C. Hartley, a professor at the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, published a legal treatise that perfectly captures the dilemma of our days, entitled, ‘Freedom not to Listen: A Constitutional Analysis of Compulsory Indoctrination Through Workplace Captive Audience Meetings.’ I would encourage everyone to read this liberally footnoted document. Although it is primarily concerned with workers not being “force-fed the employer’s religious and political ideology at the workplace,” Hartley also includes discussion on unwanted indoctrination inside of the classroom.
“The past several decades have clarified much regarding the freedom not to listen,” Hartley writes at a time when the first ideological inroads were being cut into the classroom. “It derives from the freedom of thought, which assures every person the associated freedom to acquire knowledge, including the freedom to decide what knowledge to acquire-which viewpoints to entertain and which to avoid.”
“The marketplace of ideas permits no forced orthodoxy,” Hartley continues. “This freedom to filter intellectual input into one’s consciousness supports a constitutionally recognized liberty interest in not being coerced into listening” [italics added].
“This freedom not to listen trumps the speaker’s right to speak, however, only when the listener cannot avoid the objectionable speech through reasonable efforts.”

In other words, any listener who is considered part of a “captive audience” is a listener whose constitutional rights are being violated. And who more than our children, compelled as they are to receive a compulsory education courtesy of the state, comprise the greatest number of captive audiences?
Hartley says that the way to determine whether one is a captive audience is whether avoiding unwelcome speech is “impractical” – not impossible. For example, oftentimes it will not be practical to quit one’s present employment over the question of indoctrination.
In the legal case, Bethel School Dist. No. 403 v. Fraser (1986), the Court concluded that students attending a mandatory high school assembly constituted a “captive audience.” The Court proceeded to rule against a student whose speech to the assembly contained sexual innuendos, ruling that school officials “[should] protect children-especially in a captive audience-from exposure to sexually explicit, indecent, or lewd speech.”
Based on that decision, the climate inside of the classroom is now siding with those who are desirous of propagating the most explicit material imaginable, even to preschool children. Public libraries, meanwhile, have taken to hosting ‘Drag Queen Story Hour’ for impressionable youth.
Hartley then proceeds to make the more principle-based argument against preaching to the captive crowd: “It makes no sense to conclude that centuries of struggle to secure the freedom of the mind from coercion should… come to nothing more than the right to make a choice between subjecting oneself to forced indoctrination of what may well be a reviled point of view or quitting one’s employment and sacrificing years of investment in a job.”
While countess corporate employees are receiving their fair share of “workplace indoctrination” – as recently revealed at Google, Coca-Cola and Raytheon – that pales in comparison to the amount of indoctrination students are receiving on a daily basis inside of their classrooms. A classical education anchored on historical precedence stretching back thousands of years has been largely vanquished in favor of teaching social justice claptrap that prepares students for a turbulent life of activism and sexual deviancy but little else. Even mathematics, the most subjective of disciplines, has been tainted by allegations of racism and ‘white privilege.’
The bottom line is that no student should be required to sit through lessons that they and their parents find ideologically repulsive. But what are their options? After all, it is no less practical for an employee to change his job than for a student to change his school, or start homeschooling, which few can afford.
At this point, it would appear that the U.S. public school system and the courts must be prepared to work on behalf of children who are not comfortable listening to lectures that cut against their personal ideological grain. Students subjected to sexually explicit material, or uncritical race-based theories should be permitted to politely excuse themselves from such controversial studies without the threat of academic punishment hanging over their heads. The U.S. Constitution and First Amendment demand it.

The Hayward Unified School District (in the San Francisco Bay Area) very recently allocated $40 million for enforced mandatory “ethnic studies” lessons based on critical race theory for all grades beginning with preschool.
The school district stated: “This discipline contends with racism, white supremacy culture, anti-Blackness, anti-Indigeneity, and nation-within-nation relationships,” the release said.
This is happening in other areas of California and often California sets trends for the rest of the nation.
This is the thanks White people get for creating a country with a very high standard of living and then allowing millions of non-Whites to migrate to the USA for a better life. Sigh.
This program is basically child abuse for White kids.
The elite Jewish controlled media does nothing about the absurd Critical Race Theory. The USA doesn’t have a White Supremacy problem it has an elite Jewish supremacy problem (examples, supports the evil Israeli apartheid in Palestine and covers up the Israeli evil 911 event).
“Political Correctness” started — first only in the media — almost exactly 50 years ago. Initially it was a cocktail of slogans aimed at solving three particular problems: homophobia, racism and antisemitism. It just happened to coincide with the new Holocaust narrative.
In 1987 a Jew called Paco was paid to teach a White class and one Asian Spanish, but he chose instead to teach us his Jewish resentment of Spain. His booming voice bounced off the walls –“HOW LONG!!” (before Jews are accepted as Spaniards, which he said had been 800 years so far). I wanted to put my hand up and say “until you are no longer recognisably different”, but was not brave enough, as it would start the little war. The Jews teach anti-White resentment whether or not it is in the Curriculum.
I think that this is the first article from the U.S. that I’ve ever read which makes direct reference to the covert subversion represented by compulsory work place “advisory/ training” sessions, which public and private employees alike, nowadays have to endure.
We in the U.K, – largely via the efforts of Brian Gerrish et al at “U.K. Column News” – have been well educated upon the seditious activities of these nefarious extra-governmental agencies.
Here, the primary entryist organization is called “Common Purpose,” (note the C.P.) which instructs its captive audiences in how to develop those qualities of leadership required for their new paradigm of society…
They like to make appeal to vanities – where’s the snotty-nosed clerk in any office anywhere who doesn’t fancy himself as a future “leader?”
Of course such entryists have already usurped the agenda before ever beginning and any among those listening who dare to question their prima facie assumptions or underlying ideological imperatives, fail the course for not being leadership material!
It’s an auditing, an inventory of the barely artigulate and gnormal, the ready-to-please school-leavers and the veteran lickspittles; those whom they know that they will be able to cow.
All of this, is discernably a neo-bolshevist incursion and an intended calumny, of the classic style, in fact, as rendered in pre-revolutionary Russia. Bureaucratic stranglehold of oppositional views and N.L.P.-type mesmerics to hold the more obviously pliable and none too bright in thrall.

Complaining about distant history is a waste of time. It’s a done deal, the players are all dead, and there’s no do-over. Plus, no matter how bad it may have been for those who experienced it, if one of its results was that your father met your mother, then how much can you really complain? What’s the matter – do you not want to be here? Yeah, I know, don’t answer that. Not post-2019 anyway.
I don’t want to mock all the well-meaning people protesting like this all of the establishment-government-media in our midst. In the past, people with such placards would attract ambitious politicians to get their vote, in a time when the people ere still deluded into believing their votes actually meant something, and they believed their governments were actually accountable to them for their decisions. However, that scam has played itself. Peaceful protests to attract a hungry political candidate to take up their causes or to communicate the support for their cause through the media is only more passivity. People everywhere these days have woken up to the fact that if elections are not directly fixed then they are completely controlled by the big money people (the establishment) owning the political parties and the politicians, and determining the issues.
The social conservatives are in my experience are still over-trusting with mainstream political parties and candidates, as well as being over-reliant on methods of change which are now totally ineffective. They ought to know that after some 40 years of rejection of their various views in the highly, establishment-controlled public square, that even with a majority of law-abiding, straight, and clean-living people behind them and their views, they have no real currency or input as to how things are actually run.
As a majority, resistant to much of the government mainstream-media corruption, their views and values are not reflected anymore in our selected governments or in our laws, in our government agencies, in the media, in our schools and universities, or even now in our churches. Yet, social conservatives and populists keep doing the same things over and over again, thinking that just by showing up at a demonstration with a placard and “standing up” for some principle is really going to do anything. They have to do much more these days, and showing up for a protest has to be just the beginning or real action for change and reform.
Real action these days cannot even rely of the courts, which only dismiss or delay challenges to the government measures until they are institutionalized throughout our nations. The social conservative and populist have to put their money, effort and time where their mouths are and start propagating their views either through the media or around it. Not only do they have to confront the fake and paid opposition in the streets relying and inform the public of their presence, but they have to overwhelm that opposition in the public eye through their own media, and they have to propagate that independent media service through their various networks. They have to abandon the established and useless political parties, and instead establish populist ones everywhere with all political candidates on very tight leashes and with very short terms. For any organization, there has to be full and complete disclosure of all information and dealings on any relevant issue to their members from all of their representatives. They have to teach their members how to be effective in taking back control of the political system starting from the grass roots level all the up, and they have to avoid all deals for advancement from any establishment party. The have to stop just complaining, preaching to the choir, and get off of their asses and do something with groups of other like minded people.
For example, liberate your churches from the government controls. For the last 60 years the leaders of every major Christian denomination, who in my view are part of the problem, have mounted absolutely no opposition to the media or given any proper and effective guidance to their sheeple, not only with respect to all of the fake news and anti-child policies orchestrated by our governments and propagated through the media, but also in failing to provide any effective opposition the the entertainment arm of the media which has been systematically destroying all of their basic values and moral principles which are the basis of any free and law abiding society. They must protest directly and locally against all of these useless religious leaders who do not advise their sheeple to thrown out of their homes all of the corrupting media networks, cable bundles, and crap coming into their living rooms and bedrooms which are brainwashing them and their children, and which is destroying their their faith and morals. If the priests or and ministers will not do this then throw them out of the churches, or find another church where the religious leader is not duplicitous and who will give the proper forceful and clear leadership and guidance in these matters which is long overdue.
Its finally dawning on some of these white idiots that Hitler was right..
