Bitcoin is a ponzi scheme. It doesn’t make for good money because it can’t be used to pay tax except by converting into the usual currencies. And money derives its value from its ability to pay taxes. Everyone pays taxes in one form, so everyone needs pounds,dollars etc
I’m not a gold bug in the least, but at least precious metals have an actual material use other than (official) money and will always have some value.
Bitcoin may be worth a gamble but that all it is, another punt based on the collective expectations of everyone else creating the bubble. And it must be said Bitcoin bubble builders are very aggressive in “arguing their case”. But they don’t do it to help others, only to protect their own portfolio.
