It’s another example of why the mainstream media should no longer be trusted. Software entrepreneur John McAfee was found dead in his cell in Spain where he was being held on tax evasion charges prior to being extradited to the U.S.
The mainstream media reported McAfee’s death as “suicide” but a series of emails sent by McAfee prior to his death suggest otherwise.
As with so many other news stories, if it threatens to embarrass or tarnish the reputation of the powers that be, the media suddenly goes silent, or starts censoring itself, as in this case.
The Guardian, below, and all the other mainstream media, have not mentioned the above emails. Why not? I’m not going to speculate as to who wanted to silence McAfee or why. But someone is obviously trying to hide some damaging information and we may hear more about this in the coming days. Though we are unlikely to hear the actual details from the mainstream media. Ed.
John McAfee: antivirus entrepreneur found dead in Spanish prison

The antivirus software entrepreneur John McAfee has been found dead in his cell in Spain from an apparent suicide, hours after the country’s highest court approved his extradition to the United States, where he was wanted on tax-related criminal charges that carry a prison sentence of up to 30 years.
Catalonia’s regional police force, the Mossos d’Esquadra, confirmed a report in El País that McAfee, 75, had been found dead in the Brians 2 prison near Barcelona, late on Wednesday.
In a statement, the Catalan justice department said that prison officers and medics had tried to save the life of a 75-year-old man but had been unsuccessful.
“Judicial staff have been dispatched to the prison and are investigating the causes of death,” the statement said, adding: “Everything points to death by suicide.”
McAfee’s lawyer told the Reuters news agency on Wednesday evening that McAfee had apparently hanged himself in his prison cell.

McAfee, the creator of the McAfee virus software, was arrested last October at Barcelona’s international airport as he was about to board a flight to Istanbul.

According to Jim Stone, McAfee was blacklisting websites that posted material embarrassing to the Powers That Be. The only way to avoid being blacklisted was to pay what amounted to protection money to McAfee.
Was John McAfee about to expose this scam and reveal the criminality of the powers that be? Is this why they silenced him?

Due to touring Scotland, I’ve not red this. IMHO, yes, he was suicides.
My reasons: MacAfee stated that he wouldn’t take his life. The US while presueing McAfee, never wanted him to go on trial. McAfee KNOWS WAY TO MUCH, especially about the deep state.
They never wanted to put Gary McKinnon on trail, they don’t want Assange in the US on trial. I think the saying goes, ‘It’s not in the public interest’, or more specifically, we don’t want the publics interest in this matter.
McAffe was 75, he was a very determined man who was very confident about shooting his mouth off. Why would he not take the chance to say his bit? Once in the US, far better to commit suicide in a US prison. There no gain in killing yourself in Barcelona.
Supposedly McAfee claimed to have a deadman’s switch: “if I am arrested or disappear, 31+ terrabytes of incriminating evidence will be released to the press” Evidence on the crimes and corruption of the deep state in the US and UK should show up in the alternative media sooner or later, if he is murdered.
To the truth seeker, he was clearly murdered.
To the average Joe on the street, they’ll believe the msm and that he committed suicide, obviously a deeply troubles man with many mental health issues.
It’s not that we can’t trust the msm, but we can’t trust the majority of the population.
Roll out the vaccines I say. The quicker they take them and subsequently either drop dead, or turn into paranoid androids called ‘Marvin’, completely under the control of the corporations, the better for those who seek and promote the truth.
My sadness to John McAfee’s family, but really, I do have to say, talk about putting a target on your head? Saying you have information on corruption with the government and CIA is pretty much playing Russian roulette with a pistol. Look at the death count of people who spoke out against the Clintons?
The sad thing is, the information may come out, but only on the dark web as the msm won’t touch it. Integrity, honesty, morals and principles, along with investigation and doing what’s right, do not make up today’s journalists.
Tax evasion charges are very selective. Bezos, Gates and Zuckerberg each year dodge several times more in taxes than wealthy John McAfee was worth. The US wanted him in jail. Where they could kill him.
Hope he had a dead man’s switch. Most people on this site are not into the war of the cartel money power going on right now against Bitcoin and other cryptos not under their control. It is huge with the central banks really trying to knock them out, and control everything with either their own digital currencies or with a crypto which they own and completely control. McAfee was a huge Bitcoin owner and a general in the war to decentralize financial control over us from the cartel, in their on-going fiat Ponzi schemes. One question should be over the amount of Bitcoin he had and the other as to where it went.
Right now the cartel whales are pumping and dumping Bitcoin in their efforts to make it appear as unstable as possible and drive people out of it and back into their cash, lowering its price to take it over. To back any digital currency or other cryptos which can be inflated like any fiat, Bitcoin is unique because they are limited by the number of algorithms than can every be mined or found. It is deflationary and is the best digital to store value, and that is why it will likely be used as a form of digital gold to stabilize and control any global digital currency, and why the money power wants it for a song and unjustly, just like everything else they have plundered from us. My hunch is that Bitcoin will survive the pump and dump attacks of the cartel whales and the cartel will die of its own vaccines.
McAfee was an obscene pervert and super weirdo. Good riddance. Was he murdered? No, of course not, but if he was, for once we should thank CIA/mossad/MI6 assassins for a job well done. But most certainly these agencies have far pressing matters to deal with than to “whack” some random nut job; a charlatan and a kook suffering from serious delusions of grandeur.
McAfee always was an extreme narcissist (hey, everyone look at me), and super weirdo. His entire existence revolved around attention seeking, and a very childish obsession with garnering attention of the worst kind. His outrageous attempts to “get clicks” and “likes” were so pathetic that aside from the cringeworthiness, it made one sad for the poor sick man. When the pathetic loser realized that no one gave a flying fck about him, he couldn’t tolerate the thought that he was an old, decrepit, senile nobody. That’s why he killed himself.
Remember folks: often in life, a cigar is just a cigar. And no, MI6/SAS hit squads are not hiding behind every moving bush ready to “off” you. Like me (and weirdo McAfee), you too are just an insignificant nobody. No one cares, certainly not the CIA or MI6. So easy on the paranoia. I say this because this type of juvenile paranoia seems to plague the “truther” community, as everyone thinks they are so important as to warrant being “offed” by some elite commando squad.
Thing is, Epstein is still alive, since he’s Jewish & a member of the Jewish cult that governs the world; whereas McAfee was probably murdered since he’s a white gentile…
