Maya Wiley, the progressive left’s new poster child, is a mass of contradictions.
The 57-year-old lives in a $2.75million, 4,000-sq-ft house in Brooklyn. Her husband Harlan Mandel, 58, is CEO of a multimillion investment fund.
She wants to defund the police but she and her neighbors pay for private security for their wealthy area.
The mother-of-two calls school programs for talented kids ‘racially discriminatory,’ but she sent one daughter, to an academy for the gifted, and the other to a $51,000-a-year private school.
She worked as chief legal adviser to the Big Apple’s current mayor Bill de Blasio, but now attacks him at every opportunity.
And she says her administration would be fully transparent, but while working for de Blasio came up with a now-discredited way to keep secret communications between his office and outside advisers.
‘She talks the talk, but doesn’t walk the walk,’ one political observer told DailyMail.com.

Defunding the police and having private security is not a contradiction, just an elitist position. “I get protection, the plebs do not”.
You really have to laugh at this. Why? It shows, just how out of touch these puppets are. More importantly, it shows how stupid the people are who’ll support her, who aren’t in the same tax bracket.
Both the police and the security guards are private protection. The former for tptb and the latter for those in secure properties.
However, what these morons, tptb, fail to see is that the police and the security guards come from the very demographic they’re trying to genocide.

As much as the police and security are thicker than a tree, they will one day wake up to understanding that those they protect are their enemy and then it leaves tptb like a turtle, who’s just been evicted from his shell.
They really don’t get it. They truly do believe that they can just throw money to people and expect them to do their bidding. Even the most avarice of fools, isn’t foolish enough to take a wage from another when it means he’s fighting against his family, friends and well, the population.
But as to the article, it just sums up, continued, ignored, black supremacy and racism. Everything about this woman is pomp and splendour. Educated at an expensive school. Ivy League university that you can guarantee, she got in courtesy of skin colour and not skill. Married to a multi millionaire in a multi mullion pound property? People with some common sense would see right through her. Problem is, there’s not much of that going around these days.
The powers-that-be had to invent the faux left so they could attack these double standards, Antifa, BLM etc, because the demands of the real left – jobs for all; a living wage; progressive taxation; access to food, housing, education, health – are very hard to attack without showing themselves up as the selfish greedy c***s they are, because apart from jobs for all and paying taxes they ask for all on that list themselves.
