Okay, I read the first few paragraphs of the article. PCR is mega wrong about finding functional sheeple to man/trans/woman the military ranks.
Warfare has changed. I can construct a mental picture of a real war and Im not taking fake wars like Desert Storm. Iraq and Afghanistan were low manpower wars in relation to square miles, and population.
These recent theaters were mostly populated with hired mercenaries supported by special forces from various Western powers. This is how the UK & US delt with its insurgency in Syria.
Since their failure in Syria, warfare using insurgents will have changed. I’ve no idea how it will change, but change it will.
There are many dislocated American sheeple who have lost their homes and jobs, many will be suitable for the military. Stationing troops in x country is more a political statement than a military imperitive.
In the two decades after WWII America probably was a beacon on a hill, even though it did start at least two wars. But instead of holding that position as the leader of the free world and leading it for hundreds of years, the greedy took control of the country, then they used that beacon to set the world on fire and loot it. Now America are the pirates of the world. But they are exceptional. Nobody turned that bad so quickly.
People are too worried about how the US no longer values having the tough guy Rambo types as their boots on the ground for conventional warfare. Worry not because modern warfare is cyber and technology based.
Do you remember how drones took out General Soleimani last year? There are super soldier Deep Underground Military Bunkers (DUMBs) black ops programmes all across the US and beyond. Drones, robotics, super soldiers and cyber weapons is the modern warfare.
Fortnite and Medal of Honor geeks in their pyjamas working for the US Military Industrial Complex while enjoying a bowl of cheerios on their laptops in the basement can do more damage with drone air strikes than any Rambo type boots on the ground.
