To those who are still hesitant to get the coronavirus vaccine, Ohio’s governor is asking: would you do it for a million bucks?
Mike DeWine announced on Wednesday that over the next five weeks, the state will draw the names of five people from its ledger of residents who have received at least one jab, and award them $1m each. The lottery scheme will be funded by federal coronavirus relief funds, DeWine said during a televised address.
“I know that some may say, ‘DeWine, you’re crazy!’” the Republican governor said on Twitter. “‘This million-dollar drawing idea of yours is a waste of money.’ But truly, the real waste at this point in the pandemic – when the vaccine is readily available to anyone who wants it – is a life lost to Covid-19.”
In addition to the $1m lotteries, DeWine announced that to incentivize children aged 12-17 to get vaccines, the state would draw the name of one vaccinated child to receive a full, four-year college scholarship at a state university – including fees for room, board, and books.
It is unclear whether the lottery scheme complied with federal regulations on the use of relief funds. The treasury department did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Ohio’s scheme is one of many incentives that officials are hoping will boost the dwindling demand for Covid-19 vaccines. West Virginia’s governor, Jim Justice, said the state would award young residents who get jabbed $100 savings bonds; Maryland is offering $100 to state employees who get the vaccine; and New Jersey is offering residents a free beer.
The schemes have drawn mixed reactions. While some have lauded efforts to ramp up vaccination rates, other health experts have questioned the focus on offering incentives to the hesitant over removing barriers facing low-income people of color who want the vaccine but have not been able to access it.
About 30 million American adults fall into the latter category, according to a US census estimate. Some are unable to step away from work and family responsibilities for long enough to get the vaccine and recover from its side effects. Others face language barriers or are unsure of how to use online systems to sign up, or lack the transportation to get to and from appointments. Homebound seniors and disabled people have faced difficulties getting a vaccine as well.
To address some such barriers, the Biden administration has allocated $6bn for health centers serving low-income communities. This week, the administration announced additional funds for local and tribal governments to put toward outreach and a plan to offer free rideshares to vaccine centers.
Joe Biden has widely publicized his goal to have at least one vaccine dose administered to 70% of the country’s adult population by 4 July. But despite an early surge in demand, vaccination rates have been dropping in recent weeks. Some states have been turning down supplies as vaccine clinics and pharmacies struggle to fill appointment
In New York City the ridiculous Mayor boasts about a Shake Shack gift card, promising free French fries for people silly enough to get the vaccine. He’s not pulling their taffy, he’s serious.
The one-world global government United Nations’ Jesuit pope Bergoglio is pushing the vaccinations, even saying it is OK to take it if it contains fetal cells from aborted babies! Do not believe anything that monster says! Remember what he did in Argentina! He is a murderer who works for his father, the devil.
This whole vaccination/covid scam is to kill as many as they can before enough people wise up to what their plan is. So now they are offering inflated money to a few in order to kill millions more. DO NOT TAKE THE INJECTION!!
It is now a proven fact that the vaccines were never necessary to make anyone “safe”. In fact, the evidence coming in is that they are more dangerous than the virus. Why would our governments be so anxious to put at risk all people under 60 and especially our children, who were never at any serious risk from the virus in the first place. As for the older and more frail people the successful HCQ and Ivermectin treatment protocols for anyone at risk or seriously sick proved again that the vaccines were not necessary for anyone. Our governments suppressed these treatment protocols with fake news and government intrusion into medical practice, and in many places, they are still restricting these protocols to enforce their vaccinations. Why would any government risk their people with such vaccines which even they alleged are not tested? In such a climate where our governments have not and will not explain any of these discrepancies without generating more lies, of course people are going to wonder why such a push for the vaccines?
It cannot be explained that it is mainly money through big pharma with trillions to be made, and everyone in the lockstep Covid power structure just wants to fill their pockets. The top-down discipline is too great for that. In the US the focus for the past few days has been on Fauci and his many conflicts of interest. However, this is only the tip if the iceberg because the imposition of this vaccination program is networked all around the world and is linked directly to the World Economic Forum and the banking cartel potentiates. The question is – why are they so anxious for everyone to receive these vaccines when they know they are not necessary to make people safe from the virus?
If they are not tested, then why put anyone at risk?
If they are tested, then they know of the real risks and why are they not telling us?
There certainly is something much worse than just criminality for monetary gain going on here. It does not make sense that the governments would push them so hard while knowing them to be totally unnecessary. It does not make sense the governments would risk any of the elites or themselves. These observations lead to other questions.
Is the purpose of the vaccines to protect people from something else to come? If so, they would know what is to come just as they likely knew the Covid virus was coming even before 2019, and if another more virulent virus was to be released, then if they really wanted to protect people, then instead of giving them a vaccine why not just prevent the release? However, we cannot trust them for any such foresight, and besides, these vaccines were allegedly developed for the Covid 19 virus only, which already has allegedly mutated (likely dissipated) making the vaccines even more unnecessary and useless for that purpose.
The next question raised is if the vaccines are not to protect us or to make us safe from anything to come and they are not just to milk us of our fiat money (as considered in the above), then what are they supposed to do to us? We tend to think the worse which may be true. However, the elites would never hurt them selves. Yet, this does not mean they would necessarily refrain from hurting us or various segments of the population they regard as no longer useful, which raises the legitimate question regarding the variety of vaccines out there and exactly what is in them? We the people have no way to test not only for the long-term effects of the vaccines that is a reason in itself to refuse them. More so, we have no way to test what is actually in the vaccines and to determine if in fact people like our government bureaucrats and leading politicians, as well as people like Gates, Schwab and Fauci, are actually getting same stuff as an Arab in Israel or a 60 year only in the UK on the dole.
Animal studies with a particular Coronavirus and various vaccinations have shown a lethal susceptibility to the next Coronavirus mutation to come along – all vaccinated animals dying.
