England votes today for local councillors and regional mayors. In London there are twenty candidates for Mayor, three of whom want to end Lockdown. Only one national party is campaigning for ending lockdown, and that is the Reform Party, previously the Brexit Party. In London they are backing the Reclaim Party, which is actor Laurence Fox. David Kurten has been campaigning against Lockdown, and has the legitimacy of having been attacked by ‘fact checkers’. Piers Corbyn of the Let London Live Party is the only one to have been consistently getting people out onto the streets of London in large numbers to protest against Lockdown and the pandemic fakery. Laurence Fox talks against ‘The Left’, but David Kurten, a ‘social conservative’, and Piers Corbyn, a life-long left-wing campaigner, keep out of the Left-Right identity politics; this is about democracy.

I’ve just received an email from the Reform Party’s mayoral candidate for my area in West Yorkshire. He is a medically qualified television presenter, whose election video is titled ‘A warning about vaccine passports from Dr David Bull’. He is the Deputy Leader of the Reform Party, so I presume voters in other areas would have received similar videos. He’s a former Conservative, but he, too, leaves out any Left/Right politics.

London demo

Around 400 000 people marched through central London to protest against Lockdown on Saturday 24 April, 2021. This was in support of tens of thousands of medically qualified professionals, who have been trying to speak out against the fake science that the governments have been putting out, and using to bring about a state of repression across the Western world. Facts are being distorted, reported selectively, ignored, and twisted. Lawyers are speaking out, too. I have to say that one thing I learned from school religion is that people will believe whatever they are told to believe.

Reuters put the figure at “several thousand”, adding, “Media reports put numbers at about 10,000, though the Metropolitan Police did not confirm a figure”. My understanding was that the Metropolitan Police did not provide an estimate, and according to one tweet at the time the BBC estimated the number to be just twenty. Perhaps they were getting confused: In France the Yellow Vests are the protestors; in the UK the Yellow Vests are the police. I think the figure of 400 000 is about right, because one cameraman videoed the whole procession walking down a street. In the end he said: “Twenty per second for 35 minutes. That’s 400 000”. I make that 420 000, so when we add any stragglers, and people milling around, it could well have been half a million.

The biggest protest march I can think of in London in my active life was the protest at the Iraq War in 2003 with a reported one million demonstrators. That one had lots of publicity; this one didn’t. The organisers had to remain anonymous, to avoid arrest themselves, and they had to operate by social media. The meeting point was announced at the last moment, and they arranged it by ‘flashmob’, in which demonstrators just mingle with the crowd until the appointed time, when they all just emerge.

The central figure in this demonstration was Piers Corbyn, who has been incessently campaigning over the COVID scam since the beginning, and is an invetinerate campaigner on the falsehoods in the ‘climate change’ political scam. I first met Piers in 2016, when I invited him to talk to ‘Keep Talking’ in central London on climate change. I was until then unsure on the issue, but I could see he was a serious scientist – with a First Class Honours degree in Physics from Imperial College London – and so I thought we’d hear him out. Between physicists, if there is no seminal paper making a case out for a theory, then there is no theory. The press may huff and puff as much as they like, but there is no theory of man-made carbon dioxide entrapping the Sun’s radiation thereby significantly increasing the Earth’s temperature. I came across a flat-earth theory, and a physics paper explaining the obvious reasons why that wouldn’t apply, but that was rejected on the grounds that it didn’t put forward an alternative theory of global warming. Similarly, in the case of COVID-19, there is no scientific paper which shows that the symptoms described are due to a virus. Although there is some illness going around, there has been no demonstration of it being worse than the seasonal normal for respiratory illnesses. The whole panic seems to have been invented by politicians and people with vested interests in the pharmaceutical industry, with big financial backers.

The current Mayor is Siddique Khan of the Labour Party, and is just as ‘woke’ as is the supposed parliamentary opposition under Trilateral Commission member Keir Starmer. There is no real parliamentary opposition, except for a minority of MPs in the supposedly ruling Conservative Party. Piers is campaigning for an end to Lockdown and associated repressive actions by the government.

The day before the mass gathering, Piers and Dr. Heiko Khoo, a candidate for the London Assembly, both of the Let London Live party, went to the High Court, seeking an injunction against police interference at Speakers Corner on 24 April . Their web page states: “This case was brought by us because the police have harrassed, intimidated and illegally arrested Piers Corbyn, Heiko Khoo and many others at numerous rallies, events and protests, including election rallies over the last year”. The request was rejected.

The demonstration itself went off peacefully, with no police intervention, at least as far as I could ascertain from the various videos appearing on social media, and from various witness accounts. However, after most people had left, a smaller crowd remained in Hyde Park, amongst whom was a music band. The videos show a force of police officers gathering, military-style, in an adjacent yard. When they were ready, they marched in formation through the remaining crowd, apparently heading for the music band. The crowed blocked them. Many police officers had their battons at the ready over their shoulder. Some were viciously striking out. Eventually the police withdrew to behind a barrier, then withdrew entirely.

“I just can’t believe – I can’t believe what I’ve seen”, said one nurse on a social media video. This video was incorporated into a report in Off-Guardian on 27 April. I think such things will be opening the eyes of a lot of medical professionals who have not been involved in street campaigning before. “The general vibe of the media coverage has been eye-rolling”, reported the article. I myself was sceptical when student friends in 1968 were telling me about police violence in Vietnam War demonstrations. I remember in probably 1970 walking in central London, mulling over the regular news reports of police corruption, and calculating the percentage of the London Metropolitan Police that would have to be corrupt or corruptible, for there to be a realistic chance of finding just one department without a straight cop in it, as had just been reported on the BBC. At that point I simply stopped talking to the London police unless I absolutely had to. I think that still might be the best option. There can be nothing more insulting to a supposed public servant than for the public to turn their backs on them.

London Mayor

Piers’s campaign team subsequently released a press statement headed ‘The truth about the police action on 24 April 2021 in Hyde Park’. It began: “Let London Live will be at New Scotland Yard on Tuesday 27th April 2021 12.30pm to present the news release below and call on police to answer our accusations that their intervention at the end of the historic peaceful march was a provocation”. The news release called for an inquiry into the incident, and Piers stated, “As Mayor I would hold an inquiry into this and other incidents of political policing”.

Piers Corbyn has been giving evidence to The Undercover Policing Inquiry, which was was set up in 2015 to get to the truth about undercover policing across England and Wales since 1968 and provide recommendations for the future. I can say that I had issues with London Metropolitan Police when a meeting of ours was cancelled due to a thuggish mob outside, including Black Bloc, when the Security company inside, and the police outside, would not let our people in or out for a while. Then later they were involved in the closing down of a Keep Talking meeting planned for 9 August 2017, and they were unreasonably evasive when I approached them as to just what their involvement had been. I think it would be reasonable to assume from that that they were fully complicit. We have had various strange people undermining things in Keep Talking. Keeping this sort of thing away from our genuine participants has been my most onerous work for Keep Talking. Sometimes they just storm out, blaming everyone else, when they realised they are being watched. The year before The Undercover Policing Inquiry was set up, I handed over all my Esperanto research reports to Jeremy Corbyn, having met him at a Stop the War Coalition meeting, as the centenary of the outbreak of the Great War was due. He had, years earlier, been Honorary Secretary of the Esperanto Parliamentary Group, which I had initiated in 1972. A short time later I realised we were under surveillance, and that there was a campaign of dirty tricks in operation, which brought about the sudden resignation of the group’s Chairman. The following year saw the sudden resignation of his political colleague, Harold Wilson, as Prime Minister, also an Esperantist, following a campaign of dirty tricks by MI5. I just had no idea of the scale of things to follow. Whenever I meet a police officer nowadays – and that’s not very often – I think of the dual personality of each officer. However nice they may be as individuals, I know they would shoot me if they had been given orders from above, no matter what the Nuremberg Code says. On the other hand, from feedback I get from various people who have been driven off in police vans, I get the impression that some of them might even vote for Piers, as long as no-one knows.

I’m now having another go at getting some information from the police under the Freedom of Information Act on their estimate of the numbers present at the demonstration, and of their role in storming the remaining group in Hyde Park. I expect them to be obstructive again.

India

The mendacity of the mainstream media knows no bounds. We are being led to believe that there is a COVID crisis in India that dwarfs that in the UK. It seems the truth is that the figures for COVID deaths are greater in India than in the UK merely because India is a much bigger country. Lockdown Sceptics is a good, reliable source of information, though I have to point out that I haven’t been relying on single sources whilst covering this story. Lockdown Sceptics present two graphs sourced from the John Hopkins University, showing cumulative ‘COVID-19 cases’ and ‘COVID-19 deaths’ respectively, as numbers per million of the population. On the television news in the UK we are hearing of the terrific absolute numbers. The number of cases per million in India is much less than that for the UK, even though the absolute numbers are much greater in India. I have to wonder what sort of cretins they must be employing as journalists if they can’t see through that one. I could explain that one to the average nursery school kid. Yet people will believe what they’re told to believe, especially if they’ve been brainwashed all their lives by the English Establishment into believing whatever they are told to believe.

I came across a video on Facebook titled ‘Gurcharan Singh (Sikhs for Justice & working with Let London Live) rips into the Indian covid scare agenda’. I made a transcript, as follows:

[Salutation in Gujurati] As you’ve seen in the reports of the mainstream media, there is great hysteria and scaremongering going on throughout the international media, trying to scare the entire world into submission and into accepting lockdown and its tyranny. In the past month there has been a great pushback throughout the world against lockdown and the mysery, and the authoritarianism which Lockdown brings through, and to scare people one more time, just like they did originally in Wuhan. The people are being manipulated through mainstream media, and there is an effort being made today to justify the coming lockdowns throughout the world, and use India as a scare tactic for the entire world to accept this lockdown. We have to understand this is the same policy they used in Wuhan, and the entire same reporting style which they used in Wuhan in China to make us accept the first lockdown, and this is exactly the same policy they are using today to scare us, to terrify us, into accepting more tyranny in giving up our fundamental human rights. Secondly, the reality of the situation in India: we have realised the Indian Fascist regime has fundamentally tried its best: firstly, there is no doubt that the curruption in that country has led to the collapse of the entire medical system, and we are seeing signs of that throughout the media, and that is partly correct, but the real problem which India is facing today is the systematic attack on the food supply, which has been taking place in India, especially the poorest states in India. That would be Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashra, and the central India states. And the problem there is the Indian government have systematically attacked independent food growers, where the crops are being burned and the harvest has been deliberately destroyed and rotten in the rain, on a deliberate plan. And we have seen in the Indian regime – the Fascist Indian regime – systematically removing food from the local food supply to a degree that there is only indigenous food supply within each state which is being left at the moment. It’s only the local farmers and local food suppliers which are putting food on peoples tables, but this Fascist regime has an agenda, which is becoming more and more clear, and that is to starve the people of India to death, and that must be understood. This lockdown, and this hysteria: it is adding up, and moving towards a catastrophe, and that catastrophe is mass starvation. We have seen this exact same plan in Africa – in Congo specially, and its being exactly the same way replicated now in India. The Fascist and a corrupt Indian regime has systematically taken over the food supply, and they’re moving food, destroying food, destroying crops, and destroying farmers, and their aim remains to starve the people of India to death. And their agenda is same as before, and that’s depopulation. The farmers delegation led by the Punjabi farmers, which is happening in the Indian capital, and the farmers have surrounded the capital. We have to understand: that is the last stand of humanity against this Fascist onslought, which seeks to committ genocide, in that entire region. We have to be aware that there is a Fascist regime which is working day in and day out on a systematic plan to starve the entire population of that country to their death. We need to wake up, and we need to show our support to the Punjabi farmers and their struggle against this Fascist regime, and secondly, we have to make sure we don’t fall for the same propaganda that we did from the last time, in the Wuhan incident. This is sheer propaganda. There’s no truth to it. The reality is we have a corrupt, Fascist Indian regime, which is willing to slaughter its own people. [Salutation in Gujurati]

People like me will be wondering why any government would want to depopulate their own country, but the weight of evidence during the current ‘pandemic’ would indeed point in that direction. It does indeed appear that there is a humanitarian catastrophe in India, I’ve just been trying to retrace a graph I saw on social media recently, which plots both the vaccination rate in India and the COVID death rate. It clearly showed that the deaths lagged behind the vaccinations, as if the vaccinations could be the cause rather than the reaction. Something similar has been reported for Gibraltar. The Wikispooks entry for ‘COVID-19/Vaccine’ states for Gibralter: “Mark Crispin Miller reports that after the Pfizer / BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine was delivered to Gibraltar on 9th January 2021, the island saw a huge spike in Covid related deaths. On Israel they state: “Israel quickly vaccinated a large proportion of its citizenry in early 2021 and introduced ‘green pass’, a so-called “vaccine passport” system restricting entry to formerly public places”.

Israel

The situation in Israel was described by a health advisor, Ilana Rachel Daniel, giving “insight into the hellish circumstances her country is dealing with”, according to the video description. It continues: “Ilana said citizens without green passports — primarily those who are eschewing the coronavirus vaccine — have been completely ostracized. She said anti-vaxxers are being denied hospital treatment. They aren’t allowed to continue employment. They’re proscribed from attending schools and they’re banned from all businesses. Travellers are also required to don ankle monitors. … They’re creating a medical apartheid. They’re allowed to send each person’s private medical records to the local municipality so that they’ll know who’s taking the injection or not. It’s absolutely insane”.

She has seen a redacted version of a contract between the Israeli government and Pfizer. It seems that the Israeli government are committed to immunising the entire population. “As a global people”, she stated, “we have been so profoundly manipulated, and lied to, and jerked around and terrorised”. She was being interviewed by a legal panel headed by Dr Reiner Fuellmich, as part of an investigation by Stiftung Corona Ausschuss.

They started a human rights political party, Rappeh, in Israel against the ‘police state’ that has been imposed upon them. “We are saying what no-one else is saying: these elephants in the room … are an appalling destruction of democracy”. Facebook has been deleting postings, and their leader, Dr Arie Avni, had his medical licence revoked by the Ministry of Health.

The Stiftung Corona Ausschuss has been recording interviews with relevant experts, with a view to taking legal action against key players in the pandemic falsifications. Session number 44 is with an elderly German Jew, Vera Sharav, who experienced the Nazi period as a child, and recently formed the ‘Alliance for Human Research Protection’, whose purpose is “Advancing Voluntary, Informed Consent to Medical Intervention”. In the interview with the legal team at the Stiftung Corona Ausschuss she explained the similarities of what is going on today with the misapplication of medicine in the Third Reich in Germany. The Nazis spread fear of the Jews spreading diseases, before rounding them up. Some of them were then subjected to vaccine experimentation without informed consent. After the war this led to the acceptance of the Nuremberg Code, which is explained on the AHRP website. Under a heading ‘The Significance of the Nuremberg Code’ they report on some case law. In 2009 Pfizer was found guilty in the US of conducting an unapproved trial of its experimental antibiotic Trovan on children in Nigeria. On March 7th an Israeli citizens group filed a petition to the International Criminal Court charging the Israeli Government with violating the Nuremberg Code with its mandatory Vaccination policy. Anshe Ha-Emet (People of the Truth), a fellowship composed of Israeli doctors, lawyers and citizens, filed a complaint against the government’s national “medical experiment” without the informed consent of the citizens. “Israelis cry out to the World to Stop Mandatory COVID Injections as Lawsuit is filed in International Criminal Court over Nuremberg Code Violation”, says their poster. That is particularly poignant for Germans, even if it passes by for most Brits.

Having seen those videos, I invited Israeli-born Gilad Atzmon, a Jazz musician in London, to give a talk via Zoom to our Keep Talking group in April 2021. I had been expecting him to tell a similar story, but he came up with a surprise. Israel had gone farther than any other country in mass vaccination and the introduction of vaccination passports, he said. He queried how the ‘British variant’ of COVID-19 could have reached Israel, when international travel had virtually come to a stop. Then, in a series of statistical analyses he shows how the occurrence of the ‘British variant’ increases in the countries where mass vaccinations have taken place. Furthermore, the graphs show that the increases in cases lags behind the vaccination rates. That suggests that the spread of the ‘British variant’ is associated with the vaccinations rather than with the spread of a virus.

Shortly afterwards he published a piece ‘The Gibraltar Massacre’, in which he again shows the effect preceeding the cause. Towards the end he writes: “I often ask myself why me, a jazz saxophonist, has to deliver analysis validated by mainstream conservative statistics and data. Isn’t it the role of academics, health experts, the media, virologists, epidemiologists, the opposition party and the ‘Left’?”. Well no! No, no, no, no! He’s got it wrong. Academics aren’t paid to do that sort of thing. They’re paid to make a name for themselves. All the rest is a by-product. It’s like when I worked at Texas Instruments in Bedford, England, where half the engineers were swaggering around in chequered pants, speaking with mid-Atlantic accents. Semiconductor devices were a by-product. It’s now like that throughout the country. People don’t take personal responsibility any longer. Bankers, politicians, journalists, academics, charlatans and gangsters aren’t in a conspiracy; they’re just doing the job they’re paid to do, and as a by-product, sometimes some real work gets done, if it’s not shut down by the Powers That Be.

Medical dissidents

The main opposition nowadays isn’t coming from deluded ‘conspiracy theorists’, nor from seasoned campaigners; it’s coming from professionals who have dedicated their lives to getting some real work done, and in particular from medics, who have dedicated their entire lives to preventing illness and getting people well. Some of them are disgusted at many of their colleagues, or former colleagues, who are going along with the charlatans instead of tackling the real problems. And yes, it’s quite understandable that some of those people should feel quite emotional about it.

In the prestigious British Medical Journal, the periodical of the British Medical Association, there appeared in February 2021 an article by one of the executive editors, titled ‘When good science is suppressed by the medical-political complex, people die’. “Science is being suppressed for political and financial gain”, he wrote, “Covid-19 has unleashed state corruption on a grand scale, and it is harmful to public health. Politicians and industry are responsible for this opportunistic embezzlement. So too are scientists and health experts. The pandemic has revealed how the medical-political complex can be manipulated in an emergency – a time when it is even more important to safeguard science”. The article concluded: “Politicisation of science was enthusiastically deployed by some of history’s worst autocrats and dictators, and it is now regrettably commonplace in democracies. The medical-political complex tends towards suppression of science to aggrandise and enrich those in power. And, as the powerful become more successful, richer, and further intoxicated with power, the inconvenient truths of science are suppressed. When good science is suppressed, people die”. He also referred to a view expressed by the editor of The Lancet, another prestigious medical revue en the UK, who tweeted: “UK govt scientists are being blocked from speaking to media because of what is being called the ‘difficult political landscape.’ One contributor to research we are publishing tonight was banned from speaking to a journalist this morning. Welcome to the totalitarian state of GB”. The mass media remained silent. Why should journalists care?

One medic who is advising against accepting a COVID vaccination is a former Vice-President and head of research of Pfizer, one of the companies providing a COVID vaccine. Dr Mike Yeadon was interviewed by the legal team in Session 44, as the third interviewee, starting at 2 hours 11 minutes. He said that he had no views on the motives behind the present deception, but that wasn’t what he was giving evidence on. He first raised the issue of safety, saying that he had read in the scientific literature that there is a problem with spike proteins, that these are not just passive, but are active stimulants in the body. The vaccines in use today persuade the body to create such spike proteins, which will get distributed differently in the body from person to person, thus leading to different problems. He said that the mRNA ‘vaccines’ are not vaccines. Addressing doctors and others administering these injections, he said, “What the hell are you doing encouraging younger, healthy people to take this vaccine when they don’t stand a statistically important chance of becoming ill from this virus?”. He said he was sometimes called an anti-vaxxer. “I’m pro-safetey, for God’s sake. I’ve spent my entire working life trying to work out how we can intervene in novel ways in diseases … so, I’m not against vaccines, … but I’m very concerned about these by virtue of the way they are designed … so if anyone still wants to call me anti-vaxx, well: you’re just stupid”.

He also highlighted a danger of the so-called ‘top-up’ vaccines, to deal with the virus variants being talked about in the propaganda. He said that this propaganda, including the need for quarantine hotels, was not true. There is no need for top-up vaccines, he said, also pointing to the fact that they are not going through regulatory trials.

I have heard a lot of concern expressed about the mRNA ‘vaccines’, which contain ‘messenger RNA’. These are designed to modify the receipent’s RNA in the immune system. As I understand it, the proteins are specifically designed to combat SARS-CoV-2, and when some other infection arrives, the induced proteins may outcompete the natural ones, and make the recipient more vulnerable to subsequent infections. This is known as ‘pathegenic priming’, which can lead to a ‘cytokine storm’. A paper appeared in the Journal of Translational Autoimmunity on 9 April 2020 headed ‘Pathogenic priming likely contributes to serious and critical illness and mortality in COVID-19 via autoimmunity’. Also, a group of concerned doctors, calling themselves ‘America’s Frontline Doctors’ has produced a white paper on ‘Experimental Vaccines For COVID-19’. They state, “Prior coronavirus (and other respiratory) vaccines have failed due to the scientific phenomena known as pathogenic priming that makes the vaccine recipient more likely to suffer a sudden fatal outcome due to massive cytokine storm when exposed to the wild virus”. They point out that if an entire population is vaccinated, then one cannot compare vaccinated and unvaccinated populations under the same conditions – a point that Gilad Atzmon made about Israel. However, when the death rate shoots up after the mass vaccination, one has to wonder how the effect can precede the cause.

Depopulation Agenda

The amount of information coming through on this via alternative channels is overwhelming, but it’s not easy to find using Google, and it’s often been removed by YouTube. I sometimes use the Russian Yandex to find it, sometimes with the help of Google Translate. I’m regularly coming across new groups of serious professionals, such as medics and lawyers. A new documentary, Planet Lockdown, is being produced at this very moment. Their website provides a trailer, and they are regularly uploading full interviews with various specialists on their website. The latest video as I write happens to be with Dr Mike Yeadon. This is a very clear exposition of his views for the layman. “I can see no other possible interpretation other than a serious attempt at mass depopulation”, he stated, “This will provide the tools to do it, and plausible deniability”.

A lot of quotes from Mike Yeadon are included in the Unz Review, in an article headed ‘Pure, Unalloyed Evil’. The article homes in on the idea of depopulation. “Depopulation”? Who said anything about depopulation? Isn’t it a bit of a stretch to go from a mass vaccination campaign to allegations of a conspiracy to ‘depopulate a significant portion of the world?’ Indeed, it is, but Yeadon has done extensive research on the matter and provides compelling evidence that such a diabolical objective may, in fact, be the goal”, the article states.

Bill Gates has from time to time talked about depopulation by means of vaccines. He gave a TED talk on depopulation in order to reduce CO2 climate change, according to the UN’s Agenda 21, as Robert Kennedy explained. The video also shows the Georgia Guidestones, which have a point on population reduction.

I have on my desk a copy of the 1974 Kissinger Report, a secret report titled ‘Implications of Worldwide Population Growth for U.S. Security and Overseas Interests; The 1974 National Security Study Memorandum’. If the purpose of that report were genuinely to safeguard the interests of humanity, rather than those of the people behind the CIA, then it would have been open to discussion by the world’s population. The report talks about family planning and abortion, and fertility reduction. I thought the idea of family planning was to alleviate suffering of unlucky mothers and babies, not depopulation.

Attaining public awareness

The last ten minutes of Mike Yeadon’s exposition is about getting the word out. He’s saying the sorts of things I’ve been saying for years about talking to people about what you know, though he expresses it superbly.

The frustration I feel is that we simply can’t get this information to very many people, and very few of the people who will even hear this will will do anything with it. That’s why I’m literally at the end of my tether. I’ve tried and tried and tried, and I can see that the people running this have played an absolute blinder …. In fact one of the reasons I’m very disappointed is that I’ve had a realisation over recent weeks that it really doesn’t matter what we do … If we do the things that those operating this global fraud expect, we will lose. They already know we’ll do these things. They’ve mapped ot out, and they’ve worked out ‘What are the things that are most likely to happen? … I’m worried that I’ve done absolutely nothing that differs from what they have already modelled or gamed, and that did not work , and they wouldn’t have moved off with this plan. So unfortunately the conclusion I’ve got is: Collectively we’ve got to do something unexpected, and if we do expected things we will lose. That’s a bit pessimistic, but forgive me, I’ve been a research scientist all my life, not a propagandist. It’s only recently I’ve realised I’m in a trap, really. … So, if you think something’s wrong, you’re right, and find someone else who feels the same. Never look back, and accept what the government’s telling you. It’s your last chance to rescue your own liberty, and that of your children and grandchildren. It’s going to vanish. So, if you’re suspicious, if you’re frightened, if you think something’s up, you’re absolutely right. This is our last chance. I think we’re in the last few weeks in the UK of liberal democracy, and it will then vanish for ever. So, you know, take your courage in your hands. The worse that will happen is that someone will laugh at you. It’s not a big deal is it?

That’s exactly it. I had a more durable effect in the Esperanto movement than did my predecessor, because I looked for what he was unsuccessful in, and did the opposite. “Your biggest mistake”, their marginalised legal advisor told me, “was to invite John Wells to be president”. “And his biggest mistake”, I replied, “was to accept, because if he hadn’t I’d have had no idea what his real role was in the Esperanto movement”. He then considered it for a fortnight, without showing the slightest sign of wanting to discuss it with me. That left me wondering who he might have been discussing it with. I think he would have been too intelligent as an individual to have made that mistake, unless he had been subject to a bureaucracy.

When he verbally abused me in the 2006 AGM he appeared to have no idea that I wouldn’t have been a candidate again if I hadn’t been threatened with exactly what they were doing. They do make mistakes, because whatever their own intelligence tells them, they are part of a bureaucratic system. A couple of them told me to “keep smiling”, and indeed that seemed to be their motto. That’s where I got the ‘Keep Talking’ slogan from.

Would Big Pharma and their bankers have envisaged Piers Corbyn bringing out hundreds of thousands of supporters onto the streets of London, in a bid to become Mayor of London? Probably not. That, I think, was not supposed to happen. We’ll see what happens now, but whatever happens, the crowds have been awakened, and they will be out there.
