I predict that this Frankenstein-idea is not going to work.
I think that at most, they will be able to create a bridge between motor and sensory neurons, and motor and sensory electronics.
Science does not understand the brain. And if they think that they, with their utterly pitiful knowledge of the actual workings of the brain and mind, can *improve* on Nature’s creation – then it is simply another proof that they are deluded fools.
But the intention is ugly enough, in itself – especially when there are so many other things the money and time could be more fruitfully spent on.
Sick people in charge. Remove them.
