None of this a surprise to me. If you are stuck in a computer simulation, a holoverse as scientists now say we are, where we have discovered a quantum world that interacts with consciousness, don’t you think we would investigate deeper?
I’ve said many times this reality is a tortureverse, based on the observation of food chain, everything is eating that is below it, thus the food chain is an energy chain, is an information chain, all the higher is feeding on the lower. We humans are pretty intelligent, we eat cows and chickens. What is feeding on us? The gods, or the creators of the sim, or both. Perhaps they feed on our emotions and turmoil.

You ought to have listened further in the video to Geordie Rose, the man behind D-Wave. It is not RFB who is saying that tapping into quantum dimensions, they will be opening up AI super brains they are constructing to super intelligences, or “beings”, in the universe, but it is Rose actually quoted in the conference saying this to his audience, and then inviting them to come onboard to see where this new alchemy will take us.

Likely, by now tapping into other dimensions we will find space warps and portals to anywhere in the universe. Perhaps in the future people will be transported to other worlds, or the machines will start life processes elsewhere, but it will only be lead to darkness and misery if done outside of the real of God, and besides, without him there will be no faith or desire to even look for other places. Without God we can really do nothing but play like children in a sandbox, and in any case will not be allowed into any of his sacred precincts until we reconcile to him.

Interesting ideas here–one of the commenters asked “why would the aliens need a computer to communicate with us” …..okay, let’s first define “aliens”. Are there different types of “aliens” –do they all speak the same language, or do they use some kind of computer/translator to communicate with each other? Maybe the computer communication would be faster than muddling through a phrasebook? Good Lord, the way they murder the Queen’s English these days there are times I could use a computer/translator device myself– and that is just in day to day conversations with other humans (?) right here on earth!

Interesting ideas here–one of the commenters asked “why would the aliens need a computer to communicate with us” …..okay, let’s first define “aliens”. Are there different types of “aliens” –do they all speak the same language, or do they use some kind of computer/translator to communicate with each other? i think you are right. hindu rishis discovered already the atom secrets
10thausend years before. they discovered that materia is only an ilusionary
