The Church of England is set to introduce a 30 per cent quota for ethnic minority candidates on its leadership programme and carry out anti-racism training, it emerged last night.
Officials are also planning to provide information giving context to church statues which may have caused ‘pain or offence’ as part of plans to tackle discrimination.
Only one of the 42 diocesan bishops come from black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) backgrounds.

A taskforce was set up last year by the Church after Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby said he was ‘sorry and ashamed’ that ‘we are still institutionally racist’.
In a leaked report seen by The Spectator magazine, the taskforce recommends the institution introduces a 30 per cent quota for BAME candidates on its leadership programme and calls on the Church to ‘deal with’ controversial statues and monuments.
The ‘Lament to Action’ report also calls for an overhaul of education within CofE schools as well as plans to ‘deal with’ controversial statues and monuments.
The reforms will be funded and overseen by the creation of a ‘Racial Justice Unite’ for a five-year fixed-term basis.
The report is due before the Archbishops’ Council next week, with a final version published on April 22.
It’s rarely mentioned, but Welby is partly Jewish and one of the interconnected Bilderberg families. A former senior oil executive (never a good sign), he joined the clergy and was accelerated through the ranks at phenomenal speed. His brief is obviously to destroy the Church of England.
The CofE is finished. As far back as I can remember, Archbishops of Canterbury have been weak feeble men & a total disgrace to the church. I’ve even told my local vicar the same. She didn’t reply, but her body language just sagged.
Christianity has been the biggest hoax in western civilisation up until this current scamdemic. Reasoning with those pulluting the internet with “Jesus loves you” quotes is a waste of time. I’ve Just been reading Joseph Atwill’s “Caesar’s Messiah”; an absolutely compelling book. Every truth seeker should get this.
It certainly looks like that Anonymous. Traditional C of E persons are far to “nice” to allow themselves to consider such a possibility.
Jesus said he came to serve, not to be served, so there will be no enslavement carried out by a Christian, but a Jewish Dissimulator and enslaver will infiltrate the institution and “apologise” for its “sins”.
Positive discrimination deserves to backfire. Applying it to professions where there is limited demand to join just doesn’t make sense unless it’s really about control through quotas, which is why I think they’re applied in politics and the Church, because as a general rule women and minority members are easier to pressure. Strong women and minority leaders like Thatcher and Mandela are few and far between, but they made it to the top without quotas and weren’t prevented from rising to the top without them.
It can deny an able man his place whichever part of the political spectrum he’s from because a strong man will follow his own path, so quotas become a way to neutralise him. They are exceedingly anti-democratic but are described as democratic inclusion when by definition quotas mean exclusions.
