Some would say it’s a good question but really the answer should be incredibly obvious.
If a friend of yours had a drug habit and he owed $5k and came to you to pay the debt off, would you give it to him, or would you let the drug dealer break his legs?
This is essentially why God let’s the devil and the bad people be in charge for so long and cause so much suffering.
If God snapped his fingers and everything was made good, the devil and bad people sorted out, what good would that do anyone?
The friend of your, with a drug habit, is going to continue taking drugs if you give him the $5k. He knows that if he does wrong, someone’s going to always bail him out.
The reason WHY God allows the devil and bad people is to show how easily tempted people are and thus easily led into a world of depravity, degeneracy, wrong and badness.
How many fathers, today, happily allow their children to be homosexual? There are lots. Worse, how many fathers allow their children to be transgenders?
It is the weakness of man, that has led to the society that we live in today. In order for goodness to exist, it needs its opposite and something to be compared against. Good cannot live with evil and vice versa, just as light cannot exist without darkness and so on.
The world is the way it is because people have lost their way. The Israelites were continually punished for not following their covenant with God and therefore they are being punished, through their own actions. They do wrong, not good and therefore the consequence of their choices are grim.
To finish, this last year has really given me time to think and drastically change my living habits. I eat far better than I ever have and have had about 8 pints in the last year, compared to a Friday night (lol).
It’s made me understand about viruses and bacteria a lot more. It’s made me understand far more about the saying – ‘healthy mind, healthy body’ along with ‘you are what you eat (and drink).’ And again, this is part of the covenant with God. Having a healthy mind, through sorting out your diet, leads you to question a lot within your life and how you relate to people and what you do.
People, overwhelmingly, are living in sin. All of them are NOT living. They are existing, nothing more than Mammonites, pursuing wealth, money on order to be better consumers. They have lost their way.
Until people get back on the path and see life for what life should be instead of what it is, then life will continue plummeting down the sh*thole.
