London Mayor Appoints Woke Activist Brigade To ‘Review’ Statues For ‘Diversity’

The mayor of London Sadiq Khan has appointed a rogues gallery of woke partisans as a ‘task force’ to review whether statues and other landmarks in the city are ‘diverse enough’.

The selection is chocked full of people who have previously declared their disdain for Britain’s history, prompting warnings that unelected activists with an axe to grind are being placed in charge of erasing history.

The Daily Mail reports that one panel task force member previously suggested that every instance of white supremacy throughout history can be traced back to Britain.

Another member of the task force, officially called the Commission for Diversity in the Public Realm, previously attempted to confront the Queen and demand an apology for Britain’s ‘historical injustices’.

Khan has said that it isn’t the intention of the commission to pull down statues, but merely to ‘raise public understanding’.

And that ‘understanding’ is seemingly that practically every statue, street name, and memorial in London is racist.

One of the members is a man called Toyin Agbetu, who previously vandalised a statue of Robert Geffrye, a former London mayor with links to the slave trade, with red paint in an effort to symbolise the ‘blood on his hands’.

The Commission also includes an art critic by the name of Aindrea Emelife, who previously expressed supported for BLM activists who pulled down a statue of Edward Colston last year.

Also on the Commission is actor Riz Ahmed, who appeared in Star Wars: Rogue One. It isn’t clear why he should be on a commission reviewing landmarks in London, but he did once call Prime Minister Boris Johnson “an out-and-out complete c*nt” who is “overtly racist”… so that’s why apparently.

Another member is Lynette Nabbosa who constantly pens articles about how racist Britain is.

Nabbosa previously wrote that “It was the UK’s racism that birthed slavery and colonialism. We say it is in the past but our schools, colleges, universities, streets, museums etc have never stopped honouring the enforcers of our oppression.”

Other members of the commission include the ‘founder of The Queer Bible’, and a person responsible for deciding which statue gets placed on the ‘fourth plinth’ in Trafalgar Square. Previous choices have included a big thumb, a naked pregnant disabled woman, and a big blue cock.

The current statue residing there is a dollop of whipped cream with an assortment of toppings, including a cherry, a fly, and a drone which films passers-by and displays them on an attached screen.

So, you can see where this is likely leading.

Laughably, London City Hall has claimed that the panel was selected through an ‘open recruitment process’

Conservative candidate for London Mayor, Shaun Bailey responded to the announcement with a statement noting that “A commission of fifteen unelected activists should not get to decide which statues to pull down and which streets to rename — which history my children are allowed to see.”

    In very simple terms, London is finished as a livable city. As to Sadiq Kahn, the unelected dictator of London is a thoroughly evil t–t. I can’t list the bad points of living in London. I don’t think even a regime affiliated Mayor will change current policies. Road restrictions due to cyclelanes are ramping up pollution. Junctions that required two traffic light changes to get through now have queues over a third of a mile long, this in residential areas. These cycle lanes are empty! Lambeth Council doesn’t carry out basic maintenance on drains, walls & parks infrastructure, but they can plant bulbs. Clapham Common… yep, it is a COMMON. Large areas have been used to host big corporate events such as concerts during the summer. The ground takes a hammering from these big summer events. Come the Autumn, these areas are fenced off so they can recover, so they can be used for more events. Currently, Lambeth is carrying out a once in a generation refurbishment of the ground. They’ve put in drainage, releveled the already level surface and no doubt planted the most hardwearing grass available & all for their corporate clients. Lambeth can’t afford to clear the litter or repair the paths on the common.

    London is absolutely infested with statues of white male killers. Let’s hope this crew can remedy the situation! Mayor Ken Livingstone promised to do something abot it – but he didn’t. May I make a suggestion? Some of this team should visit Paris. There one finds wonderful statues of artists nurses, poets etc

    London is a sh*thole. The mayor is a Pakistani. And he appoints 12 out of 15 non whites (the whites are probably Jews) for his diversity brigade.
    How many whites in positions of power in Pakistan?

    London has nothing holding it together. I strongly recommend whites get the hell out of there, before they become a statistic of black on white crime, of course ignored by the msm. There is no other, major capital city, in this world, remotely close to the pathetically low indigenous number there is in London. And that’s going to continue. Black gangs now control most areas in the north, south and east parts of London. Of course, mixed with Pakistani, Bangladesh, Kurdish and Russian mafia.
    The whites you do see, in London, are the middle classes, the ‘woke’ brigade, who are woke because they haven’t had a beating yet. But that’s coming and will be their ‘rude awakening’. They live in the whiter areas of London, work in media and other arty-farty outlets. They like to go into black areas and ‘gentrify’ it, opening up coffee shops that charge ridiculous prices for coffee and other beverages/foods. But like I said, they’ve not been a victim of black on white crime and when that happens, their world will be changed for ever. They’re blind chickens, walking around their coups, while hordes of foxes lick their lips outside, just waiting for the right moment. But what’s worse, ALL of these moronic whites will be BLM supporters.

    If you’re white and still living in London today, you’re a moron.

    Oh, I forgot, there are those areas of London that you won’t see many blacks – Hampstead, Knightsbridge, Mayfair, Park Lane, Chelsea etc, because they’re simply too expensive to be in. That’s where the upper classes live, in their bubble.

    More philosophically, I would point out that turning people into stone, in an attempt to immortalise them is materialist and shallow, like Midas who gets his daughter turned into gold. Notoriously, all attempts at immortality backfire and today we only have the calcified version of Greeks or Pharaohs.

    Nick Kollerstrom: you don’t fix anything by taking an eraser to (fake) history. The UK had white slaves in the UK and around the world before they started on Africans. I doubt anything will change, thicko sheeple will still keep voting or joining pressure groups run by the regime or three-letter agencies. Aren’t they going to put up a statue of Thatcher? The UK regime planned the Falklands war years before it started. The Argentinians were lured in, in a kind of mini Pearl Harbour.

    I like Kollerstrom but the term “White male killers” is a bit lax, being pulled from the shelf of the ubiquitous Leftist insult-language, and not very appropriate, given that White men have shared all their technology and permitted the existence of billions of non-Whites, while restricting their own numbers. There is never any gratitude for this.

    Got to ponder on whether the 15 will ever think that maybe one day, their neohistory will be erased quicker than the history they’re trying to replace now. Certainly that’s got to be given.

    and maybe the RAF war criminal statue in the park
