- More than half of respondents said they will get a COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible
- But nearly a quarter said they would likely never get a shot if they didn’t have to
- Republicans were 10-times more likely than Democrats to refuse vaccination
- Mistrust is among the issues holding up the US vaccine rollout which has seen just 8.2% of the population get one or more doses
- Both vaccines by Moderna and Pfizer are safe and at least 94% effective

Nearly a quarter of Americans say they will never get a COVID-19 vaccine if they can help it, a new poll reveals.
It comes as COVID-19 deaths in the US surpass 450,000 amid a vaccine rollout that got off to a painfully slow start and was hampered by distrust of the shots.
Monmouth University’s poll, released Wednesday, found that nearly two months into the rollout, only half of Americans want the vaccine as soon as possible.
And Republicans were more likely to refuse the shot, with 42 percent saying they will avoid getting vaccinated if at all possible.
Both COVID-19 vaccines authorized in the US – made by Pfizer and Moderna – are safe and at least 94 percent effective, but the new survey suggests that public confidence in the shots is still relatively low.

The American effort to get COVID-19 under control has been mired in mistakes, delays and general disorganization.
Still the development and emergency approval of two coronavirus vaccines in under a year was a monumental feat for science.
But scientists have a saying about vaccines: Vaccines don’t save lives – vaccinations save lives.
In that light, the US has struggled.
It’s probably closer to 3 out of 4 Americans who say they won’t get a covid shot. Every black person I’ve talked with about it won’t take it.
This Monmouth University poll has some glaring lies in it, ie Both vaccines by Moderna and Pfizer are safe and at least 94% effective.
Like with so many polls, this poll is being used to sway public opinion and make people think that the majority of people want this poison.
A poll conducted by a university is a poll conducted by a left wing institution and should not be trusted.
The UK vaccine tsar claims 15% are rejecting the Covid vaccine… only 15%!
42 percent saying they will avoid getting vaccinated if at all possible. The “if at all possible”, and other similar use of conditioned grammar, suggest that they want it mandatory. That will need a full blown military assault to accomplish.
Both vaccinations in the United States available were emergency approved by the FDA. Both vaccinations are still in the Experimental phases and both offer mRNA which has the potential to alter and change a person’s DNA. No Thanks.
I have no intention of getting a shot – EVER – I never have and I never will.
There are lies, damned lies and then there are statistics. Then there’s polls.
If people truly knew the Lord, they could trust Him for their healing. Jesus healed multitudes of people, and they had no bad reactions from their healing. I believe that Jesus can heal me (if I need it) just like He saved me from the sin that consumed my soul. Jesus never jabbed anyone with a needle, nor did He make them drink a vaccine like the polio vaccine. Yet multitudes were healed of all manner of sickness and disease back in the day before medical knowledge as it is today.
I say, trust Jesus. I do not use medicines because when I did, I found them to be detrimental to my health. Now they even have nano particles (polyethylene glycol) in oral minerals and in antacids. I have seen this, and they do not heal but cause further problems. I will never trust any vaccine.
