Rarely has the midwinter seemed so bleak. Lockdown has returned with a new intensity, Christmas is curtailed by official edict and around half the population is effectively under house arrest.
The Government justifies this draconian approach by warning that a dangerous new strain of coronavirus is ‘out of control’, to use the alarming phraseology of Health Secretary Matt Hancock.
Tough action is said to be required because, according to the experts on the Government’s New and Emerging Respiratory Virus Threats Advisory Group (Nervtag), this novel variant could be 70 per cent more contagious than the earlier form of Covid-19.
‘This is the worst news,’ said a Nervtag spokesman yesterday, adding that ‘we really need to batten down the hatches to stop the spread of this strain’.
Yet, for all the grim rhetoric, I suspect that this escalating mood of crisis is unwarranted.
For in reality, there thus far is little hard data to justify the claim that, despite facing a more infectious strain, our country is in the grip of a particularly harmful new type of virus, nor the belief that ever-more authoritarian restrictions will be effective.
Even Nervtag itself, in its paper that so unnerved the Government at the weekend, admitted it had only ‘moderate confidence’ the new strain – VUI-202012/01 – demonstrates ‘a substantial increase in transmissibility’.
Such uncertainty is hardly surprising given RNA viruses such as Covid-19 mutate easily and frequently.
So far, more than 20,000 variants have been recognised, with most of the differences minor and inconsequential.
Despite the Government’s recent dramatic show of urgency, this variant appears to have been first identified in Kent as long ago as September, even before the second national lockdown was imposed in England.
And that begs two questions: First, if VUI-202012/01 is as harmful as the Government suggests, why did ministers not act sooner, instead of letting the public plan for a relaxed Christmas?
Second, if tough new controls are the only answer, why was the lockdown lifted in December?
These contradictions arise precisely because of the lack of evidence behind the fear that VUI-202012/01 is sweeping through the country like wildfire.
So far its spread seems to be focused on populations that had little exposure to Covid-19 until now, such as in Kent and East Anglia.
The problem is that, beyond the frightening headlines, there is little concrete information to underwrite the official claim that the situation is getting ‘out of control’.
With that in mind, the Government must address two critical points: First, with symptomatic cases of VUI-202012/01, what proportion of an infected person’s household also becomes infected?
For ‘normal’ coronavirus, the infection rate for such contacts is 15 to 20 per cent, rising to 30 per cent for spouses.
But are those proportions higher for the new variant? Surely the answer must exist in the wealth of data collected for the testing regime?
Second, how many have been taken to hospital directly from the community with the new variant, and how many have caught it inside?
Not only will this tell us whether it’s more lethal but, if the variant really is more contagious, we should expect to see more in-hospital transmission, as that is where cases will be clustered.
Until those questions are answered, we cannot rule out the possibility the recent rise in Covid cases has little to do with the new variant’s transmissibility, but is largely the consequence of the expansion in Test and Trace.
Meanwhile, if it does transpire that the new strain is more easily transmitted, we must remember that such a scenario isn’t always a bad thing.
In line with Charles Darwin’s evolutionary theory about the survival of the fittest, it is a fact of life that viruses evolve and adapt. There are a number of new features that can ensure a particular strain survives.
One is a lower infectious dose, where the victim needs to inhale fewer virus particles to become infected. Another is the creation of a milder or asymptomatic form of the disease, which means carriers continue to go about their daily lives, thereby spreading the contagion more extensively.
Both of these factors underpin the classic development of infectious diseases, including Covid-19 – that they generally evolve over time to become more transmissible and less lethal.
That could be what is happening with the new variant of Covid, which is said to be more infectious, though we do not yet know how severe it is.
What we do know is that the collateral damage caused by lockdowns is enormous, from business failures and mass unemployment to poor mental health and chronic loneliness.
Amid such a devastating backdrop, our Government must not ignore the consequences of failing to look at the hard data on the new variant’s spread in households and hospitals.

What vaccine are you referring to?
If there is a probability of any of what you said being true, then that risk should be known, to all people taking the vaccination, which you are fortunately trying to do.
The governments have all legislated for a long time now that no one can sue ether the pharma companies or the government for collateral damage for effects from vaccinations, and I suppose they now think they do not have to warn people of any dangers. The vaccinations being used apparently are not properly tested and could not be in the time span allowed, and our governments are going ahead allowing full immunity from prosecution? This is getting crazier and crazier.
It should be clear now to anyone awake on this issue that the pandemic was planned some time ago. The WHO widened their definition of “pandemic” in 2009 to include anything. In 2010 the Rockefeller Foundation published its Coronavirus pandemic lockstep lockdown plans as a cover to usher in the UN Agenda 21 resets. In 2012 the Olympic opening ceremony in London had a weird pandemic-vaccination artistic performance with images of a coronavirus, health care workers and patients in white, with multiple hospital-type beds, and then spooky figures in black infecting people in the “ward’ until the day was save by the vaccination. Also, flu pandemic and simulation exercises were held almost every year until Event 201 in November 2019.
The Covid 19 virus ( SARS-CoV-2) is a lab-nurtured or doctored Coronavirus. There were reports earlier in the year that the same virus was at the Fort Detrick biowarfare lab in Maryland before it went to the the Level 3 lab at the University of North Carolina in 2015. From there it may also have gone to the Level 3 lab in Winnipeg, Canada, before Wuhan.

Olson has a very incomplete history of the origin of the virus and there are crucial reasons why the US military would like to distance itself from the origin of the virus. It reportedly closed down the lab sometime after 2015, but that does not mean it closed down all of its operations. Wuhan hosted the Military World Games in October 2019 and US military from Ft. Detrick attended staying at a hotel across from the infamous Wuhan fish market, the ground zero of the entire psyop. Then there is the evidence of 5 US military having flu symptoms and attending a Wuhan hospital for treatment, with a few receiving HCQ. A relatively large infectious dose would likely produce more severe symptoms in a healthy person.
In any case, Olson says, “My initial research on the COVID-19 outbreak led nearly immediately to the work of Dr. Ralph Baric. A microbiologist and chemistry professor at the University of North Carolina who had raised the eyebrows and the ire of the immunological community in 2015 by undertaking an unauthorized “gain of function” study for the synthesis of a supercharged SARS coronavirus. Work strictly forbidden by both the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization. Both Baric’s hubris in ignoring a CDC/WHO contravention against gain of function studies and his clear disregard for the consequences of his activities immediately captured instinctual attention as someone whose activities bore closer inspection for potential connection to the Wuhan crisis that is now a global pathogen gaining momentum with each passing day.”
Why would the military develop such a virus and then let it go to civilian lab? Why would any lab send it around to other labs? “Gain of function” means to experiment to see if could be enhanced for other variations, all of which was prohibited for such a lab. My hunch is that it was more likely done to develop a vaccination beyond the capacity of the Ft. Detrick military lab, especially if the pandemic with the present Covid virus was “planned”. We know that are dealing with absolute control freaks behind the Agenda 21 Resets and the Plandemic, and it is most doubtful they would release anything they could not control. They would endanger their own lives in more ways than one if the virus did get out of control.
The first wave is getting to look more and more like an exercise for what they have planned to come.
As to when the U of North Carolina lab received the Covid 19 virus, there is an interesting discrepancy with the university’s recent publication on October 1, 2020, entitled

Referring to this year the author states, “Earlier this year, his lab became one of the first in the U.S. to receive a sample of SARS-CoV-2.” Yet Olson is not alone in the view that they had the virus as early as 2015. Looks like they are also trying to distance themselves from the release.
My views is that various labs were likely hired over the years either to enhance the Covid 19 (SARS-CoV-2) for to perhaps to develop something more lethal like SARS-CoV-3 or SARS-CoV-4, or else to develop a vaccination which seems more likely for a civilian lab. Likely what the people receiving now has been tested before the virus was let go last October. If a “plandemic” (and it is), then they would also have a vaccination planned. This would mean that anything being injected into people right now they likely know full well about the risks and by not informing them of those risks makes their crimes even more heinous.
The UNC article becomes even more disturbing and ominous when reading very carefully the last sentence:
“Hopefully, this experience will help convince society of the importance of basic science research and the need to create broad-based vaccines and therapeutics to prepare for the emergence of SARS-CoV-3 and SARS-CoV-4.”
Both articles indicate that the UNC lab in particular was in the business of taking the Covid virus and experimenting with it with respect to “gain of function”. The warning is that there are other lab-enhanced strains SARS-CoV-4 (Covid-19) viruses already cooked up and ready to be served to unsuspecting humans, with a series of vaccinations which could be calculated to do more damage than the viruses. The people behind the US military, the UN and the Covid scam are all controlled by the international banking cartel, and their spokespeople and minions are on record in their efforts and plans to radically reduce the world’s population – as a priority. They have lost a lot of ground over the past year that such ends are necessary with respect to any sustainability issue, and they seem to be stepping up their agenda before they feel their opportunity will disappear.
When the Ferguson, Fauci and others were indicating that the lockdowns could go on for years, they had absolutely no scientific basis from the poor performance of Covid 19 to say such a thing at all. They must be aware of long range plans of their chief benefactors and those plans can only be to facilitate the sustainability Resets which will take a number of years to impose. That in my view is how bad things have become with these monsters running things.
What makes their plans even more heinous is that every major crisis they have relied on to justify their UN Agenda goals, they either have manufactured or greatly exaggerated that crisis, as I have commented on many times before. None of the measures are really necessary, and neither is their priority behind their sustainability goals of reducing world population necessary. In fact what they have done over the past 70 years is cause nothing but demographic havoc with a world population leveling off without any of their inducements and family destruction policies.
Insider Pompeo who ought to know said that this was an “exercise”. Therefore, look out for what they intend to release on on next. The UN Resets are going to take at least 5 years to impose in such a way that they have lockstep compliance and control. Former Pfizer vice president and scientific director Dr. Michael Yeadon and German lung specialist and parliamentarian Dr. Wolfgang Wodarg have filed an urgent application with the European Medicine Agency calling for the immediate suspension of all SARS-CoV-2 vaccine studies – particularly the BioNtech/Pfizer study on BNT162b (EudraCT number 2020-002641-42).
Yeadon and Wodarg say the studies should be halted until a design study is available which addresses a host of serious safety concerns expressed by a growing body of renowned scientists who are skeptical of how quickly the vaccines are being developed, according to Germany’s 2020 News.
On the one hand, the petitioners demand that, due to the known lack of accuracy of the PCR test in a serious study, a so-called Sanger sequencing must be used. This is the only way to make reliable statements on the effectiveness of a vaccine against Covid-19. On the basis of the many different PCR tests of highly varying quality, neither the risk of disease nor a possible vaccine benefit can be determined with the necessary certainty, which is why testing the vaccine on humans is unethical per se.
The pair also point to concerns raised in previous studies involving other coronaviruses – including (via 2020 News):
The formation of so-called “non-neutralizing antibodies” can lead to an exaggerated immune reaction, especially when the test person is confronted with the real, “wild” virus after vaccination. This so-called antibody-dependent amplification, ADE, has long been known from experiments with corona vaccines in cats, for example. In the course of these studies all cats that initially tolerated the vaccination well died after catching the wild virus.
The vaccinations are expected to produce antibodies against spike proteins of SARS-CoV-2. However, spike proteins also contain syncytin-homologous proteins, which are essential for the formation of the placenta in mammals such as humans. It must be absolutely ruled out that a vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 could trigger an immune reaction against syncytin-1, as otherwise infertility of indefinite duration could result in vaccinated women.
The mRNA vaccines from BioNTech/Pfizer contain polyethylene glycol (PEG). 70% of people develop antibodies against this substance – this means that many people can develop allergic, potentially fatal reactions to the vaccination.
The much too short duration of the study does not allow a realistic estimation of the late effects. As in the narcolepsy cases after the swine flu vaccination, millions of healthy people would be exposed to an unacceptable risk if an emergency approval were to be granted and the possibility of observing the late effects of the vaccination were to follow. Nevertheless, BioNTech/Pfizer apparently submitted an application for emergency approval on December 1, 2020.

Dr. Yeadon made headlines last month when he said “There is no science to suggest a second wave should happen,” and that false positive results from inherently flawed COVID-19 tests are being used to ‘manufacture’ a second wave.
As Ralph Lopez write at HubPages, Yeadon warns that half or even “almost all” of tests for COVID are false positives. Dr. Yeadon also argues that the threshold for herd immunity may be much lower than previously thought, and may have been reached in many countries already.
In an interview last month (see below) Dr. Yeadon was asked:
“we are basing a government policy, an economic policy, a civil liberties policy, in terms of limiting people to six people in a meeting…all based on, what may well be, completely fake data on this coronavirus?”
Dr. Yeadon answered with a simple “yes.”
He then lamented the lives lost as a result of lockdown policies, and of the “savable” countless lives which will be further lost, from important surgeries and other healthcare deferred, should lockdowns be reimposed.
