America is on the verge of being “lost” because many of its citizens are suffering from a “delusional psychosis” and so fearful that they are turning on each other to enforce “nonsensical” coronavirus restrictions, a California psychiatrist has warned.
“We don’t need a police force. We don’t need a secret Stasi to go after the neighbor that isn’t wearing his mask on a park bench. We have families who are willing to do that,” Dr. Mark McDonald said last month during a summit on the virus.
“We have office workers [who] will come by and mace you if you are not wearing a mask, and no one will come to your rescue. In fact, they’ll probably applaud it.”
A child and adolescent psychiatrist in private practice in West Los Angeles. Dr. Mark McDonald made his remarks during the virtual Truth Over Fear Summit organized by Catholic broadcaster Patrick Coffin.
The “driving force of the coronavirus pandemic and the hysteria” around it is fear, McDonald said at the summit.
This fear has now “grown and become so entrenched that it has reached a state of what I would call delusional psychosis. A delusion is a fixed false belief that is contrary to reality,” he added.
“Fear has become a new virtue. Never before in the history of this country have we told people that fear is good,” or to “settle into” those fears and allow them “to control and constrain your life,” said McDonald, who spoke at the American Front Line Doctors White Coat Summits in July and October.
Moreover, Americans “who are either afraid, or who have been fed lies and misinformation for months now, have grown to not only feel afraid, but also to believe that what they are being told is true, which is primarily that all of us are at equal risk of catching a virus and dying from it,” McDonald said.
“This is demonstrably untrue. It is a lie, in fact. And we’ve known that it’s a lie for about six months, and yet people have come to believe it.”
While there was “a lot of infection” from the coronavirus, there was “very, very little death or hospitalization outside of very specific populations,” McDonald said.
“Less than one percent of the population accounts for over 90 percent of all the deaths,” which occur in people “over age 70, mostly over age 80, with at least two and a half to three comorbidities, according to the CDC,” he added.
“Other than that group of people, we really are not at risk of hospitalization or death in any meaningful way from this virus, certainly less than we are of standard influenza.”
Most disturbingly, the pandemic “hysteria” has reached the stage of “going beyond fear, going beyond the crazy itself, to what I would call group control,” he said.
As a result, Americans are policing themselves to such an extent that governments have “dialed down” enforcement of ongoing lockdowns and restrictions by “multiple notches,” he observed.
He related personal incidents as examples.
During a recent flight on Delta Airlines, a “furious” flight attendant “castigated me” for drinking water for more than three minutes, and continued to “hound” him throughout the flight, McDonald related.
When the plane reached its destination, McDonald was “escorted off” and interviewed by a station manager. Two weeks later, he received a letter from Delta banning him from flights “in perpetuity,” or until the airline withdrew its mask mandate.
Moreover, McDonald was later told by the person he was traveling with that “all the passengers erupted into applause” after he was escorted off the plane, because “their anxiety was relieved by me being punished for not appropriately wearing the mask as requested, as demanded.”
During another flight, McDonald went to the galley for some water, and an attendant on her break offered to get him some, but was berated by an on-duty flight attendant for not wearing a mask.
“This colleague attacking colleague, passenger attacking passenger” is a “type of behavior I’ve never, ever seen before. I was stunned,” McDonald said.
“So the end result of this: what appears to me is a country which is using its own citizens as a de facto police force, very similar to communist China, that has a social point system in place where neighbor informs on neighbor, family informs on family,” he said.
“This has a terribly damaging effect on our society.”
He said that while misinformation is a root cause of the pandemic hysteria, Americans are also at fault for their “laziness” about educating themselves.
When the pandemic was first declared, McDonald had “patience” with people because they were “confused” by all the conflicting information, but his sympathy has run out.
“There is readily available information on all platforms of the Internet, social media that any reasonably intelligent and literate person can find and evaluate and critically analyze,” he said.
So widespread and so rooted is this delusional psychosis that “when I leave my home or leave my office every day, I have to prepare myself for the inevitable experience of what I would call the ‘outdoor insane asylum,’” McDonald said.
The experience “reminds me of my time that I spent in residency where I would go through a locked unit door, the door shut behind me, and I’d have to remind myself that anyone not wearing a badge behind that door is crazy,” added McDonald.
“Now I have to do the same when I’m out in public, because my assumption is that any person that I run into is insane.”
McDonald also warned things could get much worse.
“With a positive outcome in the election, with the removal of those who wish to destroy the country and the election of those who wish to preserve it, we have a fighting chance, but we need a virtuous populace as well, not just a virtuous governing body,” McDonald said at the summit, which took place a few days before the election.
“We need a people who believe in and cherish freedom as a virtue, rather than fear. Never before in the history of this country has fear been enshrined as a virtue. If it stays this way and we don’t address it and redress it, we are lost.”

The problem every dictatorship has is that they cannot make everybody fearful. Take that German fellow compelled at work to attend a Nazi rally but who refused to give the Nazi salute. It happened to me, that I had forgotten to put on the mask in a supermarket. And a middle-aged lady attacked me for not wearing a mask. I then told her, that SHE was wearing a mask. So if masks really work, she was protected! So where was her problem, I asked. And if she was worried about ME – well, I was protected, too, because SHE was wearing a mask (and everybody else in the supermarket also wore a mask). She didn’t know what to answer. And when she turned away I told her: “Your kind are the new Nazis!” (so Hopkins was not the first one to see a parallel).
Come on! There is no scientific “TWO-masks-dogma”. As if, if two persons meet and only one person wears a mask, then the ‘protection’ fails and now both will die from Covid19.
I made me so angry when here in Vienna (where I live as a foreigner) they pulled a lady out of a little theatre with brutal force, because she wore no mask. It didn’t help her at all that she could produce a medical certificate from her doctor that she was not obliged to wear a mask.
As everybody else in this little theatre wore a mask, there was no reason at all to throw this lady out (even with force and against her will)!

If some nappy wearing authoritarian should come up to you and inquire as to why you aren’t wearing a mask, ignore them. The fact that these authoritarians are wearing masks, proves that they have nothing, whatsoever, to say to you that will be of any use.
You are not required to divulge any information, to them, as to why you choose to not wear a mask. When I was younger, people like that were called ‘nosey parkers’ and duly ignored. If they persisted a quick “get lost and mind your own, business” was normally the appropriate reply.

I wear a mask in very very few places and nobody typically says a word to me or even shoots me a dirty look. It may help that I’m 6’3, 215#, fit, well-dressed, and carry myself with authority and dignity. The only two times since this whole outrageous fraud started that anyone dared chastise me for not being a moronic lemming were in two places in which I absolutely had to conduct some short, important business and the imbeciles posing as mask police were desk clerks who would otherwise never get to tell anyone what to do, petty temporary tyrants. I made note of their names and am still deciding on whether I should make their miserable lives even more miserable. I despise cowardice, snivelry, and ignorance.

I remember being intrigued and going to watch the film “ Hitler a Career” in the late nineteen seventies which was only shown in a Cinema in Court Road, London This was produced by a Jew but it was still eye opening.
At this time I was not very well read, but one thing that struck me was throughout this film there were large crowds of joyous, happy German people out clamouring to see him, and touch him; Young girls in Germany were clamouring to shake his hand, like a pop star today. This left a lasting impression on me.
One of my former German land ladies told me that when he visited Paderborn young German School girls rushed from School greet him.
An English man in his later years whose daughter was in Germany learning German this time – visited her. So I asked him what it was like at this time. He replied ‘it was undoubtingly electrifying’.
I have met a German who was in the Hitler Youth. I asked him what it was like, and he replied, ’it was the best time if his life’
In the house in Paderborn the owner had a photo of himself in SS uniform, which left a lasting impression on me. He was obviously a sincere German who knew the truth and was not ashamed of his military career; and was in fact proud of this period in his life. If all we are told about the narzies and other infantile terms, he would have been ashamed and destroyed all evidence of this.
I can give many instances of these experiences; so my knowledge of Germany at this time is based on objective books, documentaries and empirical evidence.

I read with interest above comments that show the positive role that National Socialism took, but no where have I seen a reply to my previous comments on this site about the military strategy of Mr Hitler. For instance, Stalingrad destroyed the morale of the German army, why did he insist on taking and holding this city, a place with no military value, thus losing the entire 6th Army (100K men) and promoting the commander Paulus to the rank of Field Marshall when surrender was inevitable. Mr Hitler and General Paulus both knew that no German Field Marshall had ever been captured, so the inference was for General Paulus to commit suicide rather than be captured. Fortunately he ignored such stupidity and allowed himself to be used as propaganda by the Soviets, after all it was his boss that insisted on holding that city. What of operation Citadel later in 1943, attacking the Kursk salient? The Soviets had prepared defence in depth, rows of trenches with anti-tank mines and guns, yet Hitler insisted on using Armour in a set piece battle, ignoring intelligence reports showing that the Soviets were well prepared, which surprise, surprise meant his panzers got bogged down. Never again could the Germans mount a big armoured offensive after this defeat, (yes it was a defeat not a stalemate because the Soviets were in control after, pushing the Germans all the way to Berlin). Finally even with the V2 a superb technological marvel, Hitler insisted on using fixed sites instead of mobile launchers even though Defence Minister Speer had said fixed sites were vulnerable to air strikes and so it proved to be. Perhaps through military history it is possible to see that Hitler wasn’t as sincere a patriot as we would have hoped.

Some of the blunders attributed to Adolf Hitler were due to Admiral Canaris passing on military intelligence to the allies. This was akin to a novice chess player playing and beating a chess grant master because he knew all his moves before hand.
David Irvine is the foremost authority on all of this, stated in one of his presentations that he had dysentery while at the front, so was inactive for a few weeks; and the officers in charge ignored his orders and went on to make disastrous decisions later blamed on Adolf Hitler.

Had he invaded the Soviet Union in the summer of 1944 he would have been victorious, but he attacked in the winter of 1944 because Benito Mussolini was envious of Adolf Hitler’s successes, and decided he wanted a piece of the cake; but his army was ill equipped; so Adolf Hitler had to bail him out; which delayed his pre-emptive attack on the Soviet Union. Hence getting bogged down in Stalingrad, and his supplies getting bogged down in the snow; and the supplies to the troops were not getting through with many of the German soldiers starving.
So the mistakes attributed to him, were out of his hands, which David Irvine argues is the reasons for the supposed ineptitude.
All this period of history is so lied about and distorted that is takes many years research to unravel the lies and establish the truth.
The war in the east is a subject in itself and needs people like David Irvine to separate fact from fiction, and provide evidence to support their contentions.

Thank you for your reply, I am aware that Soviet forces in 1941 could be seen as being in offensive posture, so I agree that Stalin was planning to attack in any case. I also know that Canaris betrayed his side but I don’t see how this applies to Kursk as regardless of how the Soviets knew about the coming German offensive, his own intelligence including air reconnaissance told him the Soviets were prepared. Didn’t know about Hitler having dysentery was visiting the front, so decisions were ignored by officers, but surely most of the time he was in Wolf’s Den in Poland, issuing orders. This dysentery this reminds me of the reason Napolean’s doctor said for his defeat at Waterloo, Napolean was suffering from piles. Hmm, hard to verify each story, but the Eastern Front went on for 4 years, Waterloo 2 or 3 days. In any case it seems Hitler insisted on having final command for military decisions, this was too much for a man who only achieved the rank of Corporal in WW1, he should have used delegation. He rejected Field Marshall’s Von Manstein’s request to take control of the Eastern Front after Stalingrad, a pity as Von Manstein could have achieved a draw in the Eastern theatre as he understood how to apply the advantage of mobility. I guess Hitler was interested in being not just a great politician but also a great general. But yes, David Irving is the person who knows the most about this topic, thanks for the link. Nevertheless the mistakes he made do appear odd, unless its fake history I have been reading, which could be the case I don’t know.

The reason Adolf Hitler only attained the rank of Corporal, is because his commanding officer didn’t think he was leadership materiel; even though higher ranking officers gave him glowing reports.

Here is some important information I overlooked to mention which completes the jigsaw.
A former employee at Bletchley Park visited David Irvine’s house and told him that they had broken the German enigma code about 1943 before Operation Barbarossa, so knew all the German operations. This of course is hidden from the public. This also explains Adolf Hitler’s so called “incompetence”.
While listening to German communications for the duration of the rest of the war; and, never once was gassing or extermination ever mentioned; but only the movement of concentration camp inmates and so forth. Also they have no evidence for this hoax, and not even one pathology report of so called death by gassing.
The same sheeple who believe this nonsense without concrete proof, are the same sheeple who believe this Covid hoax without proof.
