Throughout its history, capitalism has been using different tactics to suppress opposition.
At one stage it was the fantasy of an inevitable revolution. It is indeed the threat of that rebellious spirit which contributed to the evolvement of the welfare state, yet the promised revolution never materialized.
It doesn’t take a genius to gather that in historical perspective, those senses of freedom, productivity and hope which became Western emblems during the post-World War II era, had very little to do with our humanist desires and whims. Our ‘freedom’ was manufactured to titillate the poor human fellows behind the Iron Wall. The Cold War which threatened to wipe out civilization was just the means towards capitalist growth. Accordingly, it would be right to argue that we owe our post-war sense of ‘freedom’ to the USSR and Stalin. The more oppressive communism was, the more liberal the West pretended to be. Once the Soviet bloc evaporated, there was no need to sustain our ‘freedom.’ There was no one to ‘titillate’ with Coca Cola and McDonalds. A new Battle Zone was required to divert the masses’ attention from their true eternal oppressors.
Once again it was the so-called ‘Left’ that provided the goods. Instead of the old Left mantra that called to unite us into a proletarian angry fist regardless of our race, skin color, gender or ethnicity, the ‘New Left’ introduced a completely new hymn. Against the most basic Left universal ethos, the New Left taught us to think and speak ‘as a’: ‘as women,’ ‘as a gay,’ ‘as trans,’ ‘as a Jew,’ ‘as a Latino,’ ‘as a Black.’ We practically learned to fight each other instead of uniting into one people. Instead of eliminating differences, we built new ghetto walls emphasizing and celebrating every possible dividing line (White/Black, male/female, heterosexual/LGBTQ etc.). Instead of identifying Wall Street, MSM propaganda and the technology giants as our fierce global enemy, these actually became the catalysts and cash suppliers in a war we, the people, foolishly declared upon ourselves.
In this new ‘Left’ Identitarian amalgam, every ‘as a’ voice is welcome except the White one. Is it because anyone really believes that ‘White people’ are categorically or collectively bad? I doubt it. It is simply because the so-called ‘White’ was picked to play the ‘role’ of the Soviet bloc. The ‘White’ has become the new imaginary ‘evil.’
As things stand no one in America can unite the nation: neither Biden nor the DNC can introduce a harmonious solution as the above are actually extensions of the problem. Biden and the DNC are inherently tied to Wall Street, Soros, the MSM and technology giants that formulated and sustain this tragic battle. Trump and the GOP of course, cannot do much either, because in the eyes of his many opponents Trump himself is the core of this entire disaster. He is clearly ‘too white’ on top of being a ‘man’ and if this is not enough, he is also an abrasive narcissist.
What we see in America is practically the Weimar Republic all over again.
The public is losing its trust in the democratic process and democratic institutions. Poverty and public unrest is spiking. The national press and media are becoming more and more detached from larger segments of the population. Amidst all of this, Wall Street is booming. The two sides of this divide cannot tolerate each other. They are removed demographically, spiritually, culturally and intellectually. Democracy is becoming a nostalgic notion in the USA and this shouldn’t take us by a big surprise as democracy and freedom are not and never have been prime capitalist goals or values. Democracy and liberty were the means, not the goal. They were there to serve mammonism.* But not anymore; back in November 2016 Wall Street gathered that democracy is in the way. The City of London came to the same conclusion after the Brexit referendum.
If America wants to save itself, it may have to grasp its conditions first. It better transcend itself beyond the fake battle between Trump and Biden or between the Democrats and the GOP. America should figure out who is pushing it into the abyss of civil war. America should figure out who works so hard and successfully, so far, to split it and every other Western country in the middle.
If Orwell’s 1984 carries any prophetic merit, it is easy to figure out who is taking care of the Big Brother’s role. What you may want to do next is figure out who is/what is the current Immanuel Goldstein? Who controls the opposition?

One of the reasons the working classes made gains after WWII was because at the time of demob many officers (who were mostly career soldiers) reported grumblings from their men, saying they would not accept the treatment given their fathers after WWI. The “Land fit for Heroes” never materialised, and many were left homeless, then jobless, and forced many to join the hunger marches between the wars.
After WWII and having defeated the Nazis the British establishment was worried its working classes might start revolution for a socialist society. Most had some battle experience, they had contacts across the country and many had brought home weapons and ammunition as war souvenirs. They could soon organise if needed to, and it has been said this is why after the war we got the NHS, dole money and pensions. It also explains why in the years since neoliberalism in 1979, as these old soldiers lost contact then passed away, the gains they made for us all are slowly but relentlessly being removed.
There is no left vs. right, but just Jew vs gentile.

It’s often forgotten we used to have free care homes for the elderly funded by councils from local rates. That was stopped and privatised early in the Thatcher years. But we also lost quality social housing as stock was sold of; free university education ended thanks to war criminal Blair; and many kids lost free school meals even as their parent’s wages shrank. All so a few very greedy people could get filthy rich.
So very annoying. There is no real ‘left’ anymore. Sure, there are people who are left thinking, are left of center, but all the old reference points that I could use to find the real left have gone. If I had to place myself on the left-right spectrum, I’d be just left of center, but where is center these days?
The above list of conflicts are thinktank, deep state, & fake news constructs. There is no light between the Dems and Republicans. The light you see is created by the fake news, by deep state-funded and directed pressure groups. Only the last point has some credence.
I am old enough to remember the days when you could walk and play in urban spaces with ZERO CCTV. Not even in your local shop, although primitive systems were coming in during the early 70s.
Nothing is real. The fake news, the fake democracy, the fake society now labeled communitarianism. The fact that NHS staff are gagged & if they break this, they are suspended or out of work.
As for Wall Street booming, that is an illusion. The US Fed simply is buying big corporate stocks… it is another fake. Capitalism became fake when the PPT was setup and capitalism went on life support in 2008. In early 2019 an order was issued that stated the life support will never be turned off.

Many would argue that WW3 has started. I think it started in 2008 when the US & UK set about destroying the global trading systems with currency wars, illegal sanctions and trade wars.
Brexit is a UK trade war against the EU, & it is obvious that the UK does not seek an English resurgence through trade. How many times has Boris said ‘stuff business’?

While you write about what is happening and I won’t disagree with most of it, you fail to see that you are living, very much IN a left wing society, that has simply morphed into the next phase.
The creation of the Labour party was most certainly the work of Jews, even though the names of Keir Hardie and Ramsay MacDonald are written all over it, no differently to a Scotsman as the founder of the Bank of England (again by Jews). While the initial aims of the Labour party were to look after the people, this was merely a ploy to bring about support, in order that the left move into the direction they were created for.
You say that it’s “so annoying, there is no left anymore” but there is. From democracy we moved into socialism and from socialism we moved into communism. Sure, you and I are going to continue to disagree, as you truly do believe we are not living under real communism, because we haven’t reached phase 3, but as I’ve already told you, you’ve been duped into believing in a phase 3, along with every other communist, in order that you implement phases 1&2 which is the culling of the population, in order to remove the enemies of the bankers and corporations (Jews) and bring about total control of society.
Orwell, as Atzmon writes above, wrote his book, clearly as a warning of the Fabian Socialists and their aims for the UK and rest of the west. Whether you want to accept it or not, the left IS and always HAS been about the state and the creation of. You will, most certainly vehemently disagree, but to the lefty, the state is there to protect the society. I, as a member of the right, do not believe in the state, nor the concept of collectivism (left wing), but of individualism. It is very much the trait of the right, not the left.

White Elephant: We are not in a left-wing society. We are in a technocratic feudal society. I live in the Clapham Old Town area of London & I see the sheeple queuing outside church-based food banks. I see the homeless sleeping by Clapham Common boating pond, & at this time, Lambeth Council is carrying out ‘a once in a generation Clapham Common grounds refurbishment where they’ve had a huge section of the Common closed off to the sheeple as the instal drainage (not needed), level this entire area which was already very level and then re-turf the entire area. Lambeth is a so say classic left-wing London council, so why are they doing this works? This PUBLIC common has now become a ‘corporate entertainment space’! This is a borough that like many others around the country, is struggling with it’s income. In previous years the corporates take over huge sections of the common and then it is closed off during Autumn, Winter and Spring so it can recover. The reality is that Lambeth is not a left-wing council. The sheeple who vote for their so say left-wing councilors are in fantasy land. There isn’t a left-wing political party in the country. The Guardian is not left-wing & apart from the trust fund income, it is bankrolled by the lavish HSBC advertisement budget… one of the most corrupt banks in the world.
I contend the West has been run along the lines of a communist system with incentives, but this changed in the 1970s when the social contract started to fall apart. We now live in a technocratic fascist feudal system which is totally entwined with the three letter agencies.

People need to wake up and STOP accepting being labeled in any way, shape, or form. There are 2 kinds of humans that roam this entire earth. There are good people and bad people. That’s the only difference we are actually dealing with. Being one or the other is not defined by hair, skin, eyes, ethnicity, etc… It is determined by what you project outward in your society, and is in fact a choice! Being bad is easy. I challenge folks to do and be good. Find a way to love and respect yourself first, so you may find it easier to project love and respect towards others. STOP letting “them” divide us by silly labels. We’re all just people. Good or bad. Plain and simple. Only TOGETHER, and on the side of good, can we advance as GREAT peoples of this planet. We all have great ideas for advancing. Let’s come together and actually do some GOOD work here. It would be far easier to wean out the bad as well.

If the West is socialist/communist and is moving into phase three… whatever that is. There was an article in the Daily Fail last week claiming that the Labour party elites’ policies did nothing for working sheeple and actually did things to hurt the sheeple.
Jeremy Corbyn has often been touted as extreme left-wing. Corbyn often suggested a ‘peoples QE’, borrow Monopoly Money and give it to the sheeple. I don’t have a problem with clean banks, but why do so say elected governments borrow money created from nothing which must be paid back with real money, in the sense that it was earned with labor, & pay it back with interest?
If Corbyn was a real socialist, he would never suggest a ‘people’s QE.’ Corbyn should of suggested that his government would print its own interest-free money, because if the City banks are so fantastic, why do they need the entire country to work for them unofficially?

So, what other than what we see is splitting America? It seems to me to be a fight between good and evil, with the good guys against the bad guys but without anyone really knowing or caring what is good except for what they want, or what is evil except for what they don’t want. That problem seems to have some similarities to the issue of truth. Until Christ came along no one really seemed to know what it was, not even Pontius Pilate even when it was standing incarnate before him. Whenever the truth goes against the interests of the elites they use the mob and the machinery of the government to crucify it along with anyone who spouts it. So how can there be any real good in a land so controlled by the elites and the mob.
