Richie, one of the reasons for the war against Iran is that everything –Everything–can then be blamed on Iran! Most people do not want this, so the powers that be have got to get us all whipped up. Lights out?–it’s all Iran’s fault. California and the west coast is on fire?–Why, it’s Iran’s fault. Those pesky Corona Mass Ejections from the Sun that set the stage for climate change?–Yup, Iran’s fault, of course! It’s Iran’s carbon footprint that did the deed<<< yes, certainly. Never mind the US military's oversized carbon footprint that is destroying the earth. Makes everything easier I guess.

“Carbon footprint” is a spaz term. People used to learn about the carbon cycle and how, for example, more CO2 in the air sees faster plant growth, because their carbon is extracted from there. The overall amount of carbon never changes.
