Trump is all set to lose the election. To what extent can he be compared to Hitler in April 1945, cowering in his bunker at the end of WWII?

So it’s touch and go for Donald Trump, it seems, the American crypto-Hitler who was apparently doing his best to revitalize the Third Reich and sneak it into America by the back door. A new Hitler, a man who can’t even remember the name of his opponent in the race to American totalitarianism, is in the driving seat and all set for victory.
And sitting behind Biden in the back seat, telling him which way to turn his out-of-control automobile, are the two most powerful women in America right now: Jill Biden, his fiendishly Machiavellian wife doubling as a university professor, and the gabby new President of America in all but name, Kamala Harris.
Is Kamala going to be America’s karma?
And is Jill going to let Kamala take over and pull the puppet strings for her dopey husband?
Who will have her finger on the nuclear button a year or so from now, after Sleepy Joe is packed off to his nursing home: Jill the Wicked or Kamala the Commie Agent?
Let’s examine this Alice in Wonderland scenario and see where it leads us. I am not saying it’s stupid. Life, I have learned in my few years on this Planet of Madness, is far more implausible than fiction.

Thus the opening words of a recent article in the Unz Review.
The writer, as one would expect from a Trump supporter, mocks the idea of Trump as a failed Hitler. The fact that he should spend his whole article doing so is a testimony to the fact that the comparison has occurred to others. Here he is, working himself up into a rage of bitter sarcasm:
Yes, apparently, the American people, who were all a bunch of Putin-worshipping, white-supremacist neo-Nazis when they elected Trump in 2016, have come to their senses and are going to deliver a landslide victory to “Slappy” Joe Biden and bring down the curtain on this “Age of Darkness,” or save the world from “racial Orwellianism” or the “bottomless pit of facsism,” or whatever.
White supremacy will be defeated and globalization will rise from the ashes! Decency will be restored! Love will trump hate! Black lives will matter!
Slappy and Kamala will immediately fly down and liberate the concentration camps. Trump will face some sort of Nuremberg trial, where he will have to answer for mass-murdering six million people with the Coronavirus by taking off his mask on the White House balcony.
Hillary Clinton will be appointed . . . something.
One thing is clear. The writer is mad angry. He knows it’s all over for his hero, Donald Trump, and he is having a tantrum on the Unz Review to tell you how fed up he is. It’s always the way. Rage comes to the fore when you know your dream lies in tatters and that the icon you worshipped is about to be kicked off his pedestal.
Referring to himself and his White Nationalists buddies in pejorative terms as “we conspiracy theorists”, he continues in the same froth of sarcastic anger at the imminent demise of the “Trumpian Reich”. Tongue firmly in cheek, he babbles on about “uneducated, un-woke, working-class people. Gun-toting, fanatically religious people. Racist, conspiracy-theorizing people. Deplorable people. “Populist” people. People they don’t need anymore.”
He sees himself as belonging to the same much-maligned species he has just referred to—hence his rage.
Sarcasm again, laid on with a trowel:
These people have been a problem recently. Not only are they a drag on the system, they have been actively interfering with it, voting for Brexit, electing Donald Trump, refusing to abandon their traditional values and outmoded ideas (e.g., national sovereignty, freedom of speech, and mammalian biology) and get on board with global capitalist ideology, and have been otherwise being (sic) a real pain in the ass.
Aware that he is losing the plot, the writer apologizes for going off-topic.
“Sorry . . . I was supposed to be writing about the final days of the Trumpian Reich,” he says. “I got all sidetracked with this GloboCap business. I hope you’ll forgive me for not being able to get all fired up about the election next week. Given everything else that is happening, and everything that has happened over the last four years, I’m just having a little trouble believing that there is any realistic scenario wherein GloboCap lets Trump serve a second term, regardless of who actually wins. So, that kind of takes all the suspense out of it.”
Too bad. It looks like his hero Trump is losing. Big time. And does’t stand a hope in hell of winning a second term in the White House. So the irate author of this sarcastic screed has suddenly lost interest in the electoral process. He’s above it all now. Maybe he’ll retire to a Trappist monastery. Or maybe he’ll blow his brains out. Heck, he’s got enough ammo to withstand a seige.
Hey man, I’m real pissed off with the world! I don’t think these idjits should be allowed the vote. To hell with democracy! It ain’t working!
And so he concludes on a note of sardonic doom porn, predicting blood in the streets after Trump’s defeat:
Don’t worry, I’ll get back on the horse when the post-election rioting begins, and Donald Trump finally goes full-Hitler, declares himself Führer, dissolves the Congress, and orders his legions of Russia-loving white supremacists to start rounding up the Jews, as the corporate media, the fake “left” media, the Intelligence Community, the Democratic Party, fascism experts, Hollywood celebrities, and every hysterical liberal in existence have been promising he would since 2016.
Seriously, if he doesn’t go full-Hitler this time, and start rounding up and mass-murdering somebody, or else order the nuking of the United States and then blow his brains out in his underground bunker, some people are going to have some explaining to do. (Source)
This is a powerful statement and I think it should be taken seriously.
If you empathize with the writer and share his moral indignation at the imminent defeat of Trump—the rejected Messiah who could have made America great again if given a chance—you have my full understanding and sympathy.

Early voting in the US election has already hit record levels. Half the total number cast in 2016 have already been registered either in person or by mail: a huge total of 70 million. A record turnout of 150 million has been predicted by Florida University’s US Election Project. This is the highest figure since 1908.
President Trump is deeply disturbed by this and is creating problems. He claims that such votes are open to fraud despite experts saying this is rare. The problem for Trump is that he would like the winner to be declared on the night of November 3, when polls close. He is unwilling to wait several weeks for these other votes to be counted because these are the votes that are more likely to benefit his rival Joe Biden. A record number of postal votes, 46 million, have been cast so far, and could takes several days or even weeks to tally. Trump suspects dirty tricks. He thinks waiting weeks for the final result is just not on. “Totally inappropriate”, he huffs.
The idea of invoking martial law has already been mooted by Trump conspiracy theorists, but this is most unlikely to occur. Trump’s advisors will already have told him that this is America. Not Nazi Germany under Hitler or the Soviet Union under Stalin. Trump’s spectacular impotence is in sharp contrast to the absolutism enjoyed by Hitler and Stalin. Hitler had learned the hard way that a leader’s diktats are so much spittle in the wind unless he has the armed forces behind him—and the big funding money that comes from the industrialists, the banks, and the financiers. Trump has recklessly antagonized all these groups, and they will not support him.
Without the support of the Army and the elite industrialists, no coup d’etat can possibly succeed. Hitler knew this only too well and succeeded against all the odds in becoming Chancellor of Germany and finally Supreme Dictator. His Brownshirts—the equivalent of Trump’s White militias—would have been wiped out completely if they had dared to stand up to the German army, invincible in comparison not only in the sophistication of its weaponry but in the overwhelming superiority of its numbers.
So it is in America.
The US army would never break the law for Trump by turning its guns, illegally, against the American masses. The White militias, unfortunately, do not represent America’s vast multicultural masses. They represent White America alone. In a sense, they are Trump’s private legions—his “Brownshirts”, if you will—and the Army will make short work of them if they dare to stage a coup in order to keep a man in power who fails to understand that his time has come.
In America, you need to win an election in order to get into the White House. You can’t lose and pretend you have won. This doesn’t work in America. If the votes don’t fall in your favor, you are expected to move gracefully into retirement and write your memoirs.
You are NOT expected to stamp your foot in a tantrum and declare martial law.
If you do that, you can expect more than a prison sentence if your tantrum fails to work. You will be tried for sedition. For treason. And you will be executed like a common criminal. Remember Hitler in his bunker in April 1945. It will be like that for Trump if he tries any funny business and fails.
I need hardly point out that for a man who needs the armed forces squarely behind him before he can get away with declaring martial law, Trump has been behaving with reckless stupidity. Read this: “Disgracefully, Trump has taken to denigrating fallen soldiers, sailors and Marines, calling them “losers” and “suckers”. This has repulsed ordinary Americans.” It has also repulsed the armed forces. Are the armed forces going to take orders from a man who has dissed them?

Trump could be out of the White House on January 20. On October 16, Trump mused that if he lost to Biden: “I’m not going to feel so good. Maybe I’ll have to leave the country.”
Trump’s mournful reflections about having to leave America are not, in my humble opinion, mere empty rhetoric. He means what he says. He is a gambler and knows when the game is over. He knows that if he doesn’t get out of America as soon as possible, once his defeat becomes certain, he faces at least 15 years in prison. Maybe the authorities will le him slip the net, knowing that a public trial would be too risky for them. In that case, where would he go? Would Israel grant him asylum? I doubt it. And I doubt if Trump, to give him some credit, would wish to live among those people he has done so much to placate and who have given hm next to nothing but grief in return. He has handed them the Goldem Key to the White House and they have spat in his face.
Donald will learn the hard way that life can be pretty brutal when the hyenas and the jackals have got the scent of your blood.

Basically, Lasha thinks BOTH presidential candidates are pretty bad and she would vote for neither of them if given the choice. But she thinks a win for Biden is now inevitable, given her latest research findings — all of which point to a Trump defeat.
She would prefer Trump to win, if only on the principle — “BETTER THE DEVIL YOU KNOW”. She thinks a Democratic regime in America would be totally toxic for America and lead to an Orwellian police state far faster than it would under Trump.
In short, Trump is NOT the ideal candidate. But he is infinitely preferable to Biden and the Democrats. Biden won’t be at the helm long, given his dementia. His wife Jill Biden and his Deputy Kamala Harris will then take over. And they will take orders from the Deep State.

From the above opening quote, you will gather that LD is not too enthusiastic about either candidate. The last thing she wants is for America to fall under the Democrats, with a man suffering from dementia in the driving seat. Only last week, readers will have noticed that Lasha was predicting a Trump victory. A resounding victory, with much fanfare and jubilation among Trump’s loyal supporters.
