Thousands of medical and public health experts have signed on to a declaration calling for an end to lockdown policies in favor of a more targeted approach to combatting the coronavirus pandemic.
Harvard University professor Dr. Martin Kulldorff, Oxford University epidemiologist Dr. Sunetra Gupta, and Stanford University physician and epidemiologist Dr. Jay Bhattacharya wrote and published “The Great Barrington Declaration” on Sunday. It has since drawn tens of thousands of signatories.
By Wednesday morning, nearly 3,200 medical and public health scientists, nearly 4,800 medical practitioners, and over 73,100 others had signed onto the declaration. The declaration comes as some elected officials in the U.S., such as New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, are cracking down again on their states with renewed lockdown measures.
“As infectious disease epidemiologists and public health scientists we have grave concerns about the damaging physical and mental health impacts of the prevailing COVID-19 policies, and recommend an approach we call Focused Protection,” the declaration begins.
“Current lockdown policies are producing devastating effects on short and long-term public health. The results (to name a few) include lower childhood vaccination rates, worsening cardiovascular disease outcomes, fewer cancer screenings, and deteriorating mental health – leading to greater excess mortality in years to come, with the working class and younger members of society carrying the heaviest burden. Keeping students out of school is a grave injustice,” it continues.
The doctors say that the current approach to fighting the pandemic – locking down wide swaths of the economy and barring people from gathering in places such as schools and churches – “will cause irreparable damage” if continued until a vaccine is readily available to the public.
Instead, the doctors recommend a targeted approach that protects high-risk populations, such as the elderly and those with co-morbidities. The doctors also point out that for many people, especially the young, “COVID-19 is less dangerous than many other harms, including influenza.”
The doctors endorse the same strategy followed by Sweden’s government in fighting the virus, known as herd immunity. As more people from less at-risk populations get the virus and build up an immunity, the threat of the virus to society at large falls.
“As immunity builds in the population, the risk of infection to all – including the vulnerable – falls,” the declaration says. “We know that all populations will eventually reach herd immunity – i.e. the point at which the rate of new infections is stable – and that this can be assisted by (but is not dependent upon) a vaccine. Our goal should therefore be to minimize mortality and social harm until we reach herd immunity.”
The doctors recommend special protections be put in place for people that live in nursing homes, for example. Staff at such facilities should have immunity to the disease and rotating staff should be done as little as possible.
The vast majority of people should be “be allowed to resume life as normal,” the doctors say.
“Simple hygiene measures, such as hand washing and staying home when sick should be practiced by everyone to reduce the herd immunity threshold. Schools and universities should be open for in-person teaching. Extracurricular activities, such as sports, should be resumed. Young low-risk adults should work normally, rather than from home,” the declaration says. “Restaurants and other businesses should open. Arts, music, sport and other cultural activities should resume. People who are more at risk may participate if they wish, while society as a whole enjoys the protection conferred upon the vulnerable by those who have built up herd immunity.”
The more the global health professionals speak out against Covid measures, the more the Globalist Cabal ramps up the fear, desperate to get the vaccines out. No-one should be in any doubt that Covid is a cover for the mass enslavement of the global population through the introduction of surveillance and mind control technology transmitted to Earth from the thousands of satellites being put into space. The world is in complete chaos right now, and unless the collective consciousness focuses on a different path from the one being planned, most of us will end up as mind controlled slaves.

You’d think by now folks would get the idea that maybe this isn’t about the fake virus. But, as the saying goes,,, you can’t fix stupid.
I live in a province in Canada with a population of 5.1 million people and 244 alleged deaths since the start of the government/media orchestrated panic which has swept the world. Over 95% of the deaths are of the over 75 crowd made up of very frail people with serious health risks before they got the virus and as far as I know not all were treated with HCQ in time. We have a local government which has followed the national protocols to the letter, and it is absurd that they went along with them and that they keep enforcing the social distancing and mask restrictions, and as severely restricting assemblies. The leading province for deaths in Canada is Quebec with an alleged 5,915 deaths for a population of 8.5 million, which is “guilty” in my view of gross negligence, and likely mush worse, for all of the care-home cluster deaths of the frail elderly which occurred from March to May, which deaths were used to hype the hysteria just like in northern Italy in early March.
Based on my own anecdotal evidence, in my province of British Columbia my guess is that only about 20% of the people think the government measures are insane and totally unnecessary. The others are all plugged into the MSM and many believe everything they hear about the “killer virus” is the truth. Most of them simply refuse to check the facts with the findings of the independent experts from around the world who say the risk is negligible and does not warrant any of the measures. I remain astounded at the number of profession people who will not believe otherwise, of if they are skeptics, they keep their remarks totally politically correct. The problem I find is that most of the people simply want to believe it is all true, like they are all part of some big drama, joining with others in some big orchestrated dance or movie. Those of us who want to wake people up not only about all of the harm being done to jobs, businesses, and people suffering in isolation and being medically neglected (which the banking cartel, the World Economic Forum and our governments seem to care very little about) but also to get people to realize that the new-normal control measures are in fact preps for the permanent ones being hatched in the launchings of all of the Resets for a very totalitarian New World Order, which they seem not to care about at all. They are truly like trusting sheep and care nothing about the implications and seem to be eager for their next media fix of hype & scare, and reinforced safety measures from their loving and caring government

All your post are so right i am on board with everyone of them but here is the problem. The rest of the public are not like those of us who see this for what it is an absolute scam. They will never believe all of this theatre is not for their own good. We know what the snakes have instore for us. The end game is not so very pretty and no matter what we do or say to try and enlighten people they will never believe us. We will be called as usual conspiracy theorist a conspiracy yes but a theory it is not, really the treasonous snakes just need to sit back and watch as humanity imprisons and destroys itself which we see happening every day. We can stop it now if their is enough of us but their isn’t at the moment and, time is running out. I don’t wont the snakes to have this planet to carry out their satanic rituals against the human race i would rather see this planet destroy itself for me that would be better than living under the tyranny to come.
As of just a couple nights ago, I now personally know at least 5 people who had been diagnosed with Covid AND exhibited symptoms. ALL 5 of them have stated they were truly sick, as in felt like shit with chills and fever, for ONLY 1 day and they’ve all been as healthy as ever ever since. Man, what I wouldn’t give if any time I had the flu or a cold it only lasted for 1 single day…
Most of us here on this website know what the Covid-1984 scamdemic is about; fear-mongering, trauma based conditioning, and control leading to outright totalitarianism if not mass genocide. Rixon has been posting excellent, relevant information here for many years and there have been countless comments from those posting here offering exceptional analysis, cold hard truth, and even some humor.
But we’ve all been “preaching to the choir” and the trick is how to get them message of truth to more people out there. As Fred B, who unfailingly offers absolutely excellent commentary, stated in one of his comments that only about 20% of the people in his province feel the ham-fisted government reaction and draconian overreach have been “insane and totally unnecessary”, with the other 80% actually seemingly believing the steaming reeking bullshit they’ve been shovel-fed. We have GOT to get through to more of that 80%. The good news is I am constantly testing the waters out there on my daily excursions and a lot more of the people I speak with, even briefly, have been indicating a growing awareness the face diapers, anti-social distancing, etc have been an insulting absurdity. We have to be as relentless in spreading the truth as the demonic Jews and ruling class have been in spreading lies.
