The NYPD released a close-up surveillance image Friday of the man wanted for randomly attacking actor Rick Moranis on the Upper West Side.
The unidentified suspect pictured in the photo, which was taken from inside a city subway station, is seen wearing a black “I ❤ NY” sweatshirt with the hood on, a backpack, and a black face mask covering his mouth.
Moranis, 67, was walking south on Central Park West near West 70th Street — steps from his apartment building — around 7:30 a.m. Thursday when a thug suddenly clocked him in the head, knocking him to the ground, police said.
The unprovoked attack was also caught on surveillance video, previously released by police. In it, the suspect can be seen slugging Moranis before calmly walking off.
A rep for Moranis confirmed to The Post Friday that the largely reclusive “Honey I Shrunk the Kids” and “Ghostbusters” star was the victim of the assault.
“Rick Moranis was assaulted on the Upper West Side yesterday. He is fine but grateful for everyone’s thoughts and well wishes,” Troy Bailey of Bailey Brand Management said in an emailed statement.
And of course, Rick Moranis is a Jew, hence why this is in the new’s headlines. Had it been any other white man, in his 70’s it would have been ignored, just like the current string of attacks on whites, by blacks and worse, murders.
The Jew media will of course be programming its bulldogs that attacking whitey is good but attacking Jews is bad. Expect the police to go into overdrive locating and arresting this suspect, where a hefty sentence will be meted out for attacking one of the ‘chosen’.
I highly doubt the attacker attacked him because he was a Jew, he won’t have known that. He’ll most certainly have attacked him, because he will have mistakenly believed he was white. Then again, there is the slight possibility that this man may be a Black Hebrew loon, or have read Black Hebrew material on the Jews. He could also be a member of the Nation of Islam and read Farrakhan’s writings on Jews. But regardless, all the media attention is 100% because Jew Moranis was attacked.
Sometimes they punch the right people.
Various news sources reported that some bystanders heard the black exclaim: ‘Honey I smashed a Yid.’
It is more likely that the media attention given to this attack was due to the celebrity status of the victim rather than his ethnicity….thats all !!

I doubt he was targeted for being Rick Moranis, more just some feral street ape decided to whomp on a little white guy.
I wouldn’t recognize Moranis if he walked up to me, tickled my balls, and told me his name. Couldn’t care less about “celebrities”, especially washed-up has-beens like Moranis. Hell, I had a 10 minute conversation with Brad Pitt and didn’t realize who I was speaking with until someone told me the next day, and I’ve actually enjoyed some of Pitt’s movie work.
