The government has announced emergency action to try and stem a feared autumn resurgence of coronavirus, tightening laws to ban virtually all gatherings of more than six people in England.
Amid concerns that the current rules are both widely misunderstood and too difficult for police to implement, Boris Johnson will hold a hastily-arranged Downing Street press conference on Wednesday to outline the new restrictions.
The dramatic change of approach by No 10 follows a sudden spike in the number of people being infected with the virus, with almost 8,500 positive tests being recorded in England in the last three days.
On Tuesday ministers added Bolton to the number of cities and towns under local lockdowns, restricting restaurants and pubs to takeaways and forcing all venues to close from 10pm to 5am.
Bottlenecks in laboratories processing Covid tests have hampered the government’s attempts to keep on top of the pandemic. The Labour leader, Keir Starmer, warned that the test-and-trace system is “on the verge of collapse”.
With the government saying delays to tests could take two weeks to address, headteachers and care homes have warned of potential knock-on effects in trying to contain new outbreaks.
Ministers have been increasingly worried that younger people ignoring the rules has helped push the daily rate of positive coronavirus tests in the UK to 2,400 or above for three consecutive days. The fear is that currently low levels of hospital admissions for Covid-19 could also shoot up, as older relatives and other more vulnerable people are infected.
Time for the public to ignore any rules imposed by Government. They are liars and Globalist shills. As long as hospitals remain empty, and death rates stay very low, there can be no valid reason for lockdowns, or social distancing. Literally thousands of global experts from all medical fields of expertise have provided detailed evidence categorically stating that CV19 is not a threat to 99.98% of the population. The numbers of cases are an irrelevance – no-one is sick or dying unless they have underlying issues. This is now clearly an agenda, and the public is beginning to realise it.
We should carry extended metal tape measures and protest in tight groups of 6.
People who believe the media/government experts telling us about our safety are irresponsible dopes. The best cure for viruses has ALWAYS been for everybody to be exposed to it so the illness passes and we enjoy herd immunity. That was the theory then (boll*x though it was because viruses have never been found in human or animal tissue) SP WHAT HAS CHANGED THE BEHAVIOUR OF VIRUSES THEN?

Moreover tests detect antibodies to corona infections, not specifically the novel one ,AND do not distinguish between levels of infection, as far as I can make out in the plethora of contradictory information available. Basically it seems to identify people who have been in contact with the virus and whose immune systems have dealt with it successfully so that it has not “infected” them so they can not infect anyone else.
The mask wearers in my town in Buckinghamshire number around 98%. So I don’t think the public are beginning to realise it. Not in my town.

Social distancing is enforced on churches while riots are allowed. That is more evidence that social distancing is just a pretext for preventing Christian people from meeting, organizing, exposing, and resisting the global government being set up.

That comment above is also why they stopped smoking in pubs and made alcohol so cheap to buy in the supermarkets. It was to keep people sitting at home staring at the telescreen rather than mixing and socialising in pubs and social clubs etc. where they would discuss politics and current events etc.
