The Government is preparing for power outages, economic chaos and public unrest if a second wave of coronavirus coincides with a disorderly no-deal Brexit, according to leaked emergency plans.
A classified Powerpoint presentation delivered to ministers warns of food and fuel shortages around Christmas if lorries get stuck at Dover, while 1,500 soldiers are already on standby – ready to hit the streets to help police deal with potential disorder.
The document put together by the Cabinet Office’s EU Transition Task Force also warns of price hikes, power outages, water rationing and animal disease tearing through the countryside due to a shortage of medicines.

His British counterpart David Frost said he believed an ‘agreement is still possible’ but that ‘it is clear that it will not be easy to achieve’. The transition period ends on New Year’s Day next year.

Britain imports 80% of its food requirements. This is quite a staggering fact considering just how much agricultural land there is across the British Isles. The problem is most of that land has not been used productively i.e. to produce food. This is down to EU policy. How many fields do you see covered in rape seed? How many empty fields do you see? Why are we not going all out to produce as much as we can in order to be self sufficient? These are questions which the politicians must answer, before they start the process of rationing. It is likely that we are going to see a huge depopulation event in the next decade, as acute poverty hits home in poorer areas. There is also the possibility that as the UK sinks into a long term depression, many immigrants will return home as they are forced to accept that Britain no longer offers any form of security for their futures.
These power outages, economic chaos and public unrest are exactly the same events that would have occurred had the economy collapsed without a fake pandemic to blame it on. Untold job losses, businesses closing, public transport closing down, hospitals can’t afford to treat people, schools can’t afford to open; all components of a major economic collapse.
Those of us who predicted for years this reckoning would come were called loony lefties. Not so loony now. Not so left.

if the uk cannot import food from the eu then we import food from Africa and south America not usa or Canada. indeed the question is why have our agricultural lands not being used productively since 3 years ago when the whole Brexit issue began?. are ALL our ministers and mps THAT incompetent. I fear the answer is yes and we should now get rid of all of them. abolish ALL parties and institute independent mps paid for by their constituents.
