Staying on the subject of sport I see that America’s lady dyke soccer players are getting their jockstraps in a twist over suggestions that transgenders can join them. And female track athletes feel the same. “Mentally and physically, we know the outcome before the race even starts. That biological unfairness doesn’t go away because of what someone believes about gender identity. All girls deserve the chance to compete on a level playing field.”

And they have a point. After all their all-conquering soccer team was decisively beaten by a scrap team of Texas high-school boys shortly before the last World Cup. And as I pointed out yesterday the Williams sisters brothers were demolished by an unknown male player – allegedly high on weed – while they were in their tennis prime. In fact I can’t think of a single sport in which women can compete on an even footing with their male counterparts. And there’s no shame in that.  Nature has designed the womanly physique for different things. Which is why there’s a notable absence of female block-layers, lumberjacks or divers. (I refer to commercial divers here. No shortage of the other kind in women’s sport.)

But I’m puzzled by the objection to transgenders, or even real men because, well, sex is a social construct. That’s why women deserve the same pay as men. And that’s why the USA ladies soccer team has been at the vanguard of this campaign. Hope Solo, the gorgon who keeps goal for the USA team insists that women are just as good as men and that the law is on their side. “We have Federal law here in America stating that if you have the same job, same title, same obligations you cannot discriminate based on sex or based on gender.”

Great. So why not transgenders then? Ah well, that’s different. Why? Because – to cut straight to the chase – these women want the good bits of equality but not the bad bits. They love the idea of being paid megabucks for floundering around the pitch before a handful of spectators. They luxuriate and preen on the High Moral Ground as they virtue-signal in the sacred cause of equality. Ladies, you have been and remain the main drivers behind the LGBT agenda. You cheered when people were forced to accept mental illness (gender disphoria) and cater to it. It was you who insisted we turn little boys into good little obedient castrati. Well these castrati will soon be joining you and outperforming you – and out-earning you – on the playing field.  Remember telling us rubes that  a woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle? And remember how you endlessly drummed into our thick heads that actions have consequences?

Indeed they do.

Now go off and square that circle you’ve made for yourselves.
