If only Carslberg made Tory Covid Slogans: Save Money, do not resuscitate.
The final solution to us all “living longer” ( really, living TOO long), “blocking beds”, dodgers of the “Liverpool Care Pathway”.
Dr Harold Shipman was just an early medical pioneer…
Why do they need the “Hippocratic Oath”? The suggestion seems to be that would be evil doers will be restrained by mumbling a few words.
But, if the Bookmakers had such a thing, then they would surely get more business. It could be based on the memory of Lester Piggot, called the Piggotic Oath…”I solemly promise, that I will always give the punter good and fair odds”?

Shocked? I’d say this is a very logical conclusion of 50 years of neoliberal tinkering.
For governments that worship at the altar of monetary profit, human life has lost all value.

My father in law has dementia and is currently living in a care home costing £1000 per week. He eats, drinks, sleeps and spends every day in the rest home living room, sitting, staring ahead, or being wheeled around the grounds for a change. What is the point in his life? He has no idea who he is any longer or who anyone else is any more. He exists ito provide an income for the care home and it’s employees, plus of course the manufacturers of statins, clopydoggerel etc. I agree with Dr Coleman that people should not just be bumped off, but to date surely we have gone too much he other way. Surely it is quality not quantity of life that matters most.
Thank you for sharing! I am the Vice President of the Delta Hospice Society in Delta, British Columbia, Canada and am an Anglican Priest in the Anglican Network in Canada. Our provincial government is pulling our funding at our hospice in February 2021 because we will not kill our patients by euthanasia. Nonetheless, we keep saying no! We will not kill our patients! We are very concerned about the matters you raise. Thank you for your work. Please keep speaking!
