Watch again the x & y, axis are on the same plane. Nothing was “applied wrong” x axis is side to side Y axis is forward and back. This proves that if a curve was observed on any of the two axis it would have to be observed on the other axis also, a curve is not observed or measurable. Proof a ball earth does not exist. You should pay close attention to the description given and follow what is presented, it is common sense, reality. Confirmation bias is very difficult to overcome.
