Publishing all of the mugshots of people committing crimes has been a way to publicly shame people and alert the public to dangerous threats in their community, but since many of the mugshots show dark faces, news sites need to rethink this “racist” practice.
I recently reported on how the Tampa Bay Times was nixing their mugshots to fight against “negative stereotypes” (aka the truth).
Now I have come to find out that the Orlando Sentinel is also getting rid of mugshots. It seems to essentially be the statement made by the Tampa Bay Times.
We’ve come to realize that without context, the galleries have little journalistic value and may have reinforced negative stereotypes.
AL.com (which includes Birmingham News, Mobile Register, Huntsville Times) is also picking up on the progressive trend by eliminating the truth about the color of crime.
This is a first step in reimagining our coverage of crime and justice.
“Reimagining” coverage of crime and justice means that the readers will be left up to their imaginations when guessing the racial makeup of the criminals.
Although we previously used almost all mugshots that were made available to us by law enforcement agencies, many readers viewed our use of them as symbolic of our company’s view of their community; our hope is to eradicate that perception.
They want black people to know that they love them, even though the news sites have been littered with black mugshots of violent offenders. Besides, it’s the “racist pigs” taking the mugshots who are the real problem here, not the criminals.
They might still show some individual mugshots associated with particular stories, likely when the criminals are White, but readers will no longer be able to see all the mugshots together and notice just how “dark” things have gotten.
Truth is racist.
“Racism is bad. No one should be a racist…..” is the mantra that’s continually forced upon people. Why do you think that is? Do you think it’s got anything, whatsoever, to do with forcing people to accept mass immigration into their land, thus destroying their nation and fulfilling many agendas such as the Kalergi plan?
The right to like or dislike whomever you choose is yours and no one else’s to make.

We now live in a world where government dictates to everyone whom, they should like, dislike, love, hate, employ, sack, associate with or disassociate with. They have no authority over you, whatsoever to impose that, regardless.

Not condoning the attack, whatsoever, however we should take something into consideration here. And this isn’t aimed at you, but to readers who don’t understand the bigger picture.
Libya was an incredibly, successful, North African country. It was destroyed by socialists, in the west and yet was a utopian, socialist state. Unemployment was incredibly low along with crime. Poverty was losing, in fact, pretty much non existent. All students who studied were given free accommodation by the state. There was free dental and healthcare. All families received a percentage of oil profits at the end of every year.
The west destroyed that. The country is now in ruins, no different to the former, white South Africa. I wonder if this man lost loved ones in the attack on Libya by the west? I wonder if his livelihood was destroyed?
And yet, Britain has taken in refugees, from that land, along with other lands it’s destroyed in the war of terror since 9/11. That’s right. Do you think anyone, from those former nations, holds resentment and hatred for British people?
They knew this would happen.
