changing the language used to program us is a great idea for a start…I will use the term “creepy stalking”…or “peeping Toming” for a more ridiculous twist.
I think “big brother” has become too acceptable as a term.
Keep at it – I appreciate your work very much and I’m sure there is a multitude that feels like me.
For the term ‘contact tracer’ instead of inserting the term ‘Big Brother’ from 1984, try inserting the word ‘Watcher’, or ‘State Surveillance’ like a new SS core and they can even have uniforms to go with the job.
Fred B – These Watchers will probably look like the street wardens as we have already been desensitised to their presence. In Hastings they brought in a private company who were named by locals as the dog end police, but those watchers have gone now. A few of us used to watch the watchers, following their line of sight and quickly warning their potential victims whilst pointing at those vile people. They got so much grief off the public that they were disbanded, although a couple of them now work for the council. Big Brother is in every area of assistance here. Not much of the virus here, three weeks ago, the only news was that 32 people had contracted it. My birth is registered in 1984, but I am 55, it’s complicated, they got me in 1984.
