In an article which appeared on the First Things website, entitled “Epidemic Danger and Catholic Sacraments,” Rev. Thomas Joseph White denounced anyone who had doubts about the state’s quarantine measures as exhibiting “a misbegotten exaggerated libertarianism,” as well as “exaggerated individualism, magical thinking that ignores scientific evidence, and religiously rationalized narcissism.” White then claims that his position is “based on a basic given of natural law. The state has a fundamental obligation to protect human life, especially when it is gravely threatened” as long as it follows “both traditional, time-tested procedure and proven scientific advice.” Anyone who claims that public health measures may impede “civic flourishing” is “scientifically unrealistic and ethically irresponsible.”
But for the fact that Buchanan’s column appeared five days after his article, Father White’s rebuke could have been aimed at Pat Buchanan, who wrote:
“For each American lost to the pandemic, 1,000 Americans have lost their jobs because of conscious and deliberate decisions of the president and 50 governors. Some 60,000 citizens, we are told, will likely be lost in this pandemic. Are we prepared to accept 60 million unemployed to “mitigate” those losses? . . . While the daily loss of Americans to the virus appears to be leveling off, one-third of the way to that 60,000 figure, the other losses from the social and economic devastation we have invited upon ourselves have just begun to mount and will continue far longer.”
Is it “ethically irresponsible” to bring up a point like this?

This modern culture of spending more than you earn is amazing. On the other side we have the Japanese and recently the Chinese societies that save half of their salaries, they have financial (temporary) independency from the government and also from the “system.”
Depending on what my boss asks me or if he disrespects me I’ll say to him – I’m done here go find another serf. Because I have financial reserves, I don’t live paycheck to paycheck, I don’t have debts except from credit cards. Credit cards are a true source of interest free credit if one pays its bills regularly. A friend said to me once: “the problem is not what you earn, is what you spend.” Some financial self-help books are great, when you have savings you can make money without the need to sell your labor.
What I find “ethically irresponsible” is to live beyond its means, especially when kids are under ones umbrella. If one loses his job he and his family starve the next week with an expensive car in the garage. Of course, we have to exclude the miserable from my reasoning.
The JEW (International Jewry) created an existential question – to open or not to open? Since this is a Jewish sh*t show both answers have tragic outcomes.

This is exceptionally well stated. But more importantly YOU DON’T put lesbians into positions of authority, because by definition, lesbians are misandrists. Yes, women are not cut out for war. While the TV series ‘Vikings’ shows battlefields full of female Vikings, that’s TV. Even the Vikings weren’t daft enough to know that your women need to be protected, for if they die, so to does your clan.

It’s all incredibly screwed up. And of course, a man, is a threat to a lesbian, in that they are stronger and also naturally are attracted to the same sex as they are.
Homosexual males are bad enough in positions of power, like their female counterparts, they are women in a male’s body, so weaker than the lesbian, but the lesbian is far worse. As stated, they hate and they hate with a vengeance. People, reading this will note that the reason why the police are so much more hated now is because their ranks are filled with lesbian misandrists in positions of authority. Cressida Dick, Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police in London, happens to be one. And we all know her history. Other than being Common Purpose, she was also involved in what we were told was the ‘mistaken identity’ assassination of Jean Charles de Menezes, shot 9 times in the head, with a glok pistol, by police in Stockwell station underground on the 22nd of July 2005.
Being in charge of the whole operation, this despicable woomin wasn’t reprimanded whatsoever. She was PROMOTED for her efforts. Yes, a promotion because she ‘mistakenly’ ordered the culling of an innocent man she ‘believed’ to be a terrorist they were watching…..
But all one has to do is look around. Homosexuals are VASTLY over represented in every establishment they’re in. They naturally gravitate towards entertainment and showbusiness, due the fact they inherently know what they do is wrong and so through fame and celebrity, seek recognition and more importantly acceptance. TV, Music, the msm, the film industry, now the UFC (females) are places where, if you say you’re a homosexual, they’ll roll out the red carpet. Homosexuality is the new ‘race’ card.
But lastly, the degenerates are in control of western civilisation, because they’re easy to control and manipulate. As many people have written on the Truthseeker, Britain’s security services have so much dirt on all the top officials, they’re putty in their hand. And it just so happens that the Jew also happens to be in charge of that. It’s one big, Jewish controlled, stinking pile of sh*t. And that’s why the west is getting worse by the hour.
Everything EMJ said was spot on until he got on his soap box with the word “logos” which Greek view of Christ and concept of divine reason and plan is his pet theological peeve. He may be right but going there in the end of his presentation instead of just emphasizing prudent decision making necessary at this time based on simple reason, or “common sense”, he lost most of his audience. Perhaps he felt he had to “trump” Fr. White’s intellectual authority with is own, in which case all you have is a couple of airy faerie academics trying to duke it out on the head of a pin.
Like Ron Paul who keeps going back to his libertarian principles (based in my view on an incomplete and obscure political philosophy), EMJ remains ineffective with most of the people who are starving leadership based on real honesty, common sense, impartiality free of special interests, and sound judgement, especially in these days.
