If it is a badge that he is wearing, it is a dosimeter. Dosimeters are thin film devices that react to ionizing radiation.
Dosimeter’s react to X radiation (x rays), gamma and beta (nuclear radiation).
Highest peak frequency for 5G is probably China at 53 GHZ, or 53 x 10 to the ninth power. X rays are 3 x 10 to the 19’th power. In other words, X rays are 10,000,000,000 times smaller wavelength than 5G. X rays also carry a lot of power, at around 200 kev.
My first pass filter was .. this is a lab negro, but I will listen to him anyway. My mistake.
5G is a problem because the side lobes of the antenna can add with superposition, meaning that the power can add up into what is effectively a standing wave. This is bad for you, but it is NOT IONIZING RADIATION.
Dosimetery has nothing to do with 5G. More likely there was some sort of nuclear spill.
