Harvey Weinstein the titan of Hollywood turned convicted rapist, has been sentenced to 23 years in prison on Wednesday in New York.
The fallen mogul was handed down his punishment by Judge James Burke at the New York supreme court having been convicted of two counts of sexual assault. The judge imposed 20 years for a first-degree criminal sex act for forcing oral sex on a production assistant, Miriam Haley, in 2006.
He also imposed a three-year sentence for third-degree rape of a woman whom the Guardian is not naming because her wishes over identification are not clear.
The two sentences will run consecutively, meaning that Weinstein, 67, will have to complete the terms of the criminal sex act before serving the rape sentence.
Both the main accusers, as well as the four other witnesses from trial – the Sopranos actor Annabella Sciorra, Dawn Dunning, Tarale Wulff and Lauren Young – came into court as a united group, sitting at the front row alongside Cyrus Vance, the district attorney of New York who led the prosecution. The women were cheered as they walked into court.
Weinstein was rolled into the courtroom in a wheelchair. Moments later, Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey, the New York Times reporters who broke the Weinstein story triggering the #MeToo movement, walked in and sat near the front.
In a victim statement read out in court, Haley said that Weinstein “not only stripped me of my dignity as a human being and as a woman … it diminished my confidence and faith in myself”. She added she felt alone as she was going through the trauma with no idea other women were out there who had similarly suffered abuse.
In her statement, the rape victim said she had finally found her voice. “It is time people who rape other people pay with their life and the life they took.”
Both main accusers asked Burke to impose the maximum sentence.
Lawyers for Weinstein pleaded with the judge for the minimum sentence of five years in prison. Donna Rotunno, his chief defense attorney, cited his work in the film industry as well as his failing health as mitigating factors.
The sex offender also addressed the court personally in a rambling address in which he expressed remorse as well as implying he had been “confused” in his dealings with the women. “I’m totally confused, men are confused about all of this issue.”
Weinstein went on to say: “I really feel remorse for this situation, I feel it deeply in my heart,” adding: “We may have different truths.”
At the end of the proceedings, Weinstein was cuffed to his wheelchair and led away. Several of the accusers who had testified could be seen at that moment sobbing.
Since he was convicted, Weinstein has been moving between a secure wing of Bellevue hospital in Manhattan where he underwent heart surgery in which a stent was fitted and the North Infirmary of Rikers Island. His spokesman, Juda Engelmayer, told Page Six that he was miserable but trying to be optimistic, even though he suffered a fall earlier this week.
“He has had a lot of time to think about his life and be humbled, but he thinks it’s going to be a long, uphill battle from here.”
After sentencing, Weinstein will pass into the bowels of the New York state department of corrections. He will be taken to a reception center in Fishkill, New York, for “processing”, and then transported to a prison in upstate New York.
He is likely to experience a rude awakening as he enters the prison system. As part of his reception procedure, he will be required to have a shower and go through delousing treatment.
He will then be made to sit through a suicide prevention video. That part of the proceedings is likely to be closely observed as New York is in a heightened state of tension after the financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein killed himself in a federal jail in Manhattan.

Weinstein had also indicated he had suicidal thoughts in documents released on Tuesday from December 2017.
The lengthy prison sentence marks the second major glass ceiling that has been cracked by the Weinstein saga in the legal treatment of sexual assault in the wake of the #MeToo movement.
It was extremely unusual for prosecutors to bring the New York case all the way to trial in the first place – authorities have in the past tended to shy away from accusers who have maintained close and in some cases sexual contact with their attackers as did several of the Weinstein witnesses.
In a statement issued after the sentence was delivered, Vance thanked the judge for “imposing a sentence that puts sexual predators and abusive partners in all segments of society on notice”. He also thanked the women who testified “for their remarkable statements today and indescribable courage over the last two years. Harvey Weinstein deployed nothing less than an army of spies to keep them silent. But they refused to be silent, and they were heard.”
A sentence of 23 years also underlines the new severity with which the legal system now treats such cases. The other instance of a celebrity serial sex offender who avoided accountability over many years – the comic Bill Cosby – was sentenced in 2018 to the much lighter punishment of three to 10 years.

this is not a lot for the Public to be satisfied about, there is a Long way to go Yet, it seems to be that the American public are becoming inured to their war’s and Sex crime’s against the Rest of the World are going Unpunished, they have never been a great Country, because they only have Pretensions of Greatness which consists of Mountains of Bullshit, if they were ever going to be a Great Nation they would have Punished all those military Monkies who have killed off more than 90 per cent of the real American Indians, and abused and killed off most of the Chinese Coolies who worked on the Early Railroads, the Abuse that has been used on the American public by the Secret government will fill any Book as big as a Bible Tome.
Let’s get something clear here, right away; Harvey Winestein didn’t rape any women. Every one of those women consented to having sex with him, as a prostitute would her client. The only difference being, there was no hard cash produced, there and then as a ‘John’ would to the prostitute. Instead, Harvey’s cash came in the form as a role in a TV show or a film.
These women ‘whored’ themselves to Weinstein, for fame and fortune, as the whores, they clearly were and then decided to scream rape, when they realised that the roles they got, never led to fortune. However, their payment, was FAR MORE than any Hollywood, whore would be paid, for turning a trick on a John. No, now they decided to change the contract, like the washed up nobody, Rose McGowan and chase more money, from TV and newspaper interviews, promoting the lie that Weinstein raped her, when she, most certainly consented to having sex with him.
This situation with Weinstein, for all his accusers was no Kirk Douglas and Natalie Wood scenario.
They’ve thrown one of their own to the wolves. It’s something Jews don’t like doing, not unless, of course, the damage to the non Jewish community, far outweighs the sacrifice.
And trust me, the damage that this has done to male and female relations (screw Hollywood) of the average man and woman is irreparable. All these women, all of these accusers have gone to the authorities and told them they were raped. Is there any evidence? Is there any semen? Is there any pubic hair? Were any DNA swabs taken? Nope. Not one. This man has been sentenced, to 27 years in jail, all on the accusation (just that) of a certain number of women.
Do you think, by any chance, those women may have got together beforehand, to concoct this story, like the three witches in MacBeth?
The bottom line is that this will pave the way for millions (not thousands) of rape allegations, mirroring the Brett Kavanagh trial, of women, angry, bitter, psychologically damaged (possibly a product of a whoring, single mother, who never paid them any attention, or too much) who seek revenge for being scorned by a man. And of course, the Jews, will be those lawyers, happy to defend these young women. Another profitable Jewish lie, about to hit reality.
As stated the damage to men and women is now irreparable. Just before this, I watched a video by anti feminist and incredibly brave Janice Fiamengo on JewTube entitled Feminist Mass Hysteria – TFF Episode 42 in which she explains, her dismay at the growing number of young women complaining about being looked at, spoken to by young men, being ‘eye’ raped and feeling offended and upset by male attention.
Where will this lead?
Well it leads to the ultimate conclusion – a society where the men no longer love the women and because of it the population rate plummets (just as it is in China). It leads to a society where MGTOW (Men Go Their Own Way) and break off all interaction with women, for obvious reasons. It leads to a society where the minute a female even approaches a man in a bar, or a coffee shop, he gets up and walks away. It leads to an epidemic of even more false rape allegations, because these women, courtesy of equality, will begin to experience rejection on a massive scale, understanding what it was like for men, throughout history, but worse for them, because men won’t even utter a word, for fear of being arrested for a speech crime.
It’s not a case that women have dug a hole for themselves. Hell no! They’re all perched around the abyss and it’s only a matter of time before they fall in.
Because of #MeToo, many managers no longer want to mentor women in the workplace and have a colleague present at all times, where all interactions are recorded on video and audio. It has led to men no longer going away with work colleagues on business trips or nights out in the bar. It’s led to men, avoiding working with women altogether. It leads to men not helping women who are struggling with a heavy item. It leads to men no longer opening the door for fear of a feminist attacking them for doing so. It leads to men not running to the screams of a woman in danger. It leads to men ghosting women completely.
And this, in turn, will lead to an epidemic of psychological problems, within women, realising that they can’t find any man to love them; that they won’t be getting pregnant and having a family; that they’ll grow old, lonely and end up in an old folk’s home with no one to come and see them.
This is the bitter, miserable existence that women have created for themselves, by being advocates of feminism and the ridiculous witch hunt of #MeToo, as stated, nothing by angry women, who consented to sex with Weinstein, but decided to change their mind, years after, because the pay checks stopped coming in and the payment wasn’t enough.
Jews are rubbing their hands in glee. This is another depression they’ll be making billions upon billions in and like all the others, of their own doing.
The whores of Hollywood; the women who held hands in the courtroom, all with high flying Hollywood careers, know damn well they’re all lying that consensual sex is most certainly not rape, but as the Jews believe a lie, even though a lie, can be a truth if you really believe it is so, these women believe the same and in their selfishness, they fail to see (or couldn’t care less) they’ve just badly damaged their nations and the future of their civilisation, all because of their worship to Mammon their blatant selfishness.
Weinstein is guilty of being a sex addict. He needs to be put in an institution and receive treatment. Then he needs to pay damages to his “victims”.

Harvey is a scapegoat or a Messiah-like man suffering for the sins of the world.
Harbringer is right. This case will change public cosciousness in the West and contribute to destruction of female-male relationship. This is a goal, destruction of family unit. Huxley in “Brave New World” presented vision of permanent dating. One step closer to Dystopia.
Well they’ll have to use a different strategy to the last one….switching off surveillance cameras will seem just too suspicious……Maybe that was what the stent operation thing was all about…..letting the public know he has a heart problem……So fake heart attack then the private jet to Israel…..to meet up with Epstein in a bar overlooking the Mediterranean….in downtown Tel Aviv……Well the media wont be reporting it in Israel….instructions will have been issued.

Patrick: this has already happened. Men are consciously and sub-consciously viewed as perverts, dirty old men and rapists. Some men are these, some are all of these, but most men are none of these, especially when alcohol and drugs are removed from both sexes in the equation. The Harvey Weinstein affair does two things. It weakens the male role at work and it will allow more invasion of privacy in the workplace. The end result, more women in positions of power, especially in Hollywood. This, despite the fact that both men and women prefer films made by men which star men in leading roles. It is the same in sport. The best example of this, due to the length of time men and women have played separately, but at the same events, tennis proves that men are by far the biggest ticket sellers and most-watched matches on tv. We know Harvey Weinstein is a ruse, because of the staggering cesspit of child abuse that is Hollywood.
