God love them, those poor students protesting climate change. According to the MSM the kids are ‘deeply troubled’ and suffering from – wait for it – ‘climate grief’ and ‘eco-anxiety’. One student said she woke at 2 a.m. and then cried for two solid hours about the warming ocean. Which is surprising because based on what I saw they were having a whale of a time. (Maybe a bad analogy!). If these kids are suffering from climate grief then I want some.
But the images they showed of water-borne plastic pollution were both depressing and horrifying. Just look at the pic on the left. The kids’ solution? ‘Give up your plastic straws. Just say NO!’ ‘Make reusable cloth bags from old t-shirts. And do it now!’ And if everyone in the West were to do just that it would have the impact of a snowflake in hell. Because, as a study from Germany’s Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research discovered, the 10 top-ranked rivers transport 88-95 percent of the global plastic load into the sea. And out of those top ten rivers eight are in Asia and two are in Africa. It’s the same all over the Third World. People just dump their plastic wherever they want, often into rivers and the sea. They don’t give a flying fuck about pollution. Unless they can use it to extract even more dosh from Whitey.
Plastic, and air pollution so bad you can hardly see the palm of your hand are Third World problems. Even with all its industrial production the West is responsible for only about a quarter of the world’s carbon emissions. And that proportion is going down sharply while that of the Third World is rising just as sharply. Even on a per capita basis the West is far below that of the Persian Gulf states. But the towering colossal elephant in the carbon emission room is population. As it is with just about all the world’s ecological problems ….. deforestation, water shortages, soil erosion, acidification of the oceans, every form of environmental stress in fact.
And where is this population explosion to be found? Why, mainly in Africa. So why don’t our eco-moralists focus their attention there? Well that would be White paternalism and imperialism. Are you saying their culture is inferior or something? And here’s another thing. Big and all as the African carbon footprint is set to become it would be constrained were Africans to remain in Africa. After all building houses of cow dung and eating insects is eco-friendly in relative terms. But the most enthusiastic supporters of mass African migration to Europe are those very same latte-sipping (no straws!) kumbaya-singing hypocrites hectoring Whites about their duty to Gaia.
God grant me patience.
Meanwhile behind the curtain Luciferian Globohomo smiles and pulls the strings.

Irish Savant makes a good point that if all us in the west just quit breeding and consuming and only eat earthworms and insects the undeveloped world will just zoom by and our delusions with climate change will have the impact of a snowflake in hell.
Hawaii did the right thing and banned plastic bags – because the real way to control all this junk we throw away is to prevent the idiot consumers from having it in the first place. So when Hawaii banned plastic bags – because they blow into the ocean by the gazillions, guess what happened? Nota a damn thing, everyone was forced to reuse the same bag more the once. The horror! The idiot in the jacked 6,000 lb SUV parks 50′ from the front entrance of the humongous big box supermegamart has to carry the bag into the store, oh my god the inconvience!
I am just as upset as anyone how humans are polluting and wrecking the planet, and at least the western nations are trying to regulate polluters, and in third world its a free for all like we were in the wild west. If you really want to stop the insanity of our throw away society you can by doing one simple thing – stop producing crap that gets thrown away.
Have you all seen that movie The Gods Must be Crazy?
My pet peeve is particle board furniture. How much more expensive is it to use real wood over sawdust when you do it on the factory scale of production? Think of all the costs in making a table, shipping the wood to the factory, assembly, packaging, shipping it to the retailers then the cost of getting it home. In Germany they banned throwing furniture away so everyone has to sell it or consign it and the result is high quality stuff that you choose carefully and not be a mindless idiot who buys shit and tosses it away 6 months later.
Almost every single item sold by the big retailers (like Walmart/Target/kMart) is days or months to the dumpster. Like 99% of it doesn’t last a decade.
Humans are not changing the climate because that is thermodynamically impossible. The sun is like 9400 times greater energy input to the earth than human fossil fuel burning and CO2 doesn’t force temp so human effect on the earth’s heat equation is like that snowflake. Great essay if you want to repost it.

Yukon Jack, thanks for your observations. I formed a few questions of my own as I studied the “eco-anxious” young people. 1. How many of them walked all the way to the demonstrations ~ or did they ride eco~unfriendly carbon producing cars? 2. How many of the young folks were willing to go without their hand held mobile devices ~ which are not that environmentally friendly, either? 3. And now, here’s the Big one: how many of these smart young folks are willing to acknowledge the role the Sun plays in creating our climate?
Euranglolanders are the biggest consumers by a big margin and he says they are responsible for 25% emissions. If it is manufactured elsewhere and unwrapped then consumed at home it isn’t the manufacture responsible for discarding the wrapper. Cars etc. The Savant is having himself on a lot here.
For the locals in Asia who would have about a 1/5 of the rubbish a westerner does a week sure the river flows into the sea that’s its job, at least they don’t ship it in containers offshore and send it out of sight out of mind. Either way the shit still stinks.
The biggest polluters on earth are the American farming industry and the US Navy.
Who put fluoride in the water, Monsanto, chlorides. Now antidepressant residues are found in farm soils. Batteries? Solar panels? Over 20,000, oil based products.
Articles like this mean nothing the same way Greta and her cultists mean nothing.
quote “the role the Sun plays in creating our climate?”
The Sun and orbital cycles drives earth’s climate. Every scientist knows this. The IPCC is full of political hacks, that 96% consensus is a hoax, the IPCC lies and has been caught lying and fudging data. The head of the IPCC went back to India on rape charges.

The Sun inputs 174,000 Terawatts per HOUR, while humans burn 160,000 Tw per YEAR.
We are in an ice age, temperatures have been steadily dropping for 8,000 years and they will keep going down regardless of CO2 levels.

I couldn’t agree more with the first comment at the top from Yukon Jack in which he frames it perfectly. “If you really want to stop the insanity of our throw away society you can by doing one simple thing – stop producing crap that gets thrown away”, just simply nails it.
Many manufacturers and vendors are in a pickle though, because the big behemoth retail corporations keep applying massive pressure to cut costs, which ultimately means making products even cheaper and more flimsy, if that’s even possible at this point. Walmart, the largest retailer in the world, is the worst offender of the bunch.
I’ve always found the doctrine of corporate personhood to be puzzling, alarming, and a steaming pile of bullshit. For if a corporation were indeed a person, that person would certainly be labeled a psychopath as they are completely devoid of a conscience or a shred of morality. Walmart, again, is the perfect example of this. I know people who sell product lines to Walmart and the pressure to cut costs is unrelenting, and unrealistic. Capitalism works as a mechanism for socio-economic stimulus, but predatory capitalism, driven by insatiable jackals, is the road to misery and ruin.
