Did Joshua Anticipate “Greater Israel”?

henrymakow.com – Sept 21, 2019

“From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.”  Joshua 1:2-4
Far from being the seemingly insane ramblings of some irrelevant desert dwellers, the Bible is the historical account by the winners of the greatest military campaign in Antiquity.
Moses prepared Israel for the onslaught, but Joshua led the invasion. Joshua took on the three greatest Empires of the day and won.
They vanquished Egypt, the Assyrians, and utterly annihilated the Hittites.
With this stunning new perspective, Joshua must be considered the greatest General of Antiquity.
Only Alexander, a thousand years later, can stand in his shadow.
Migchels writes: “This notion that Israel was behind the Bronze Age Collapse, is really a major discovery, if true.
But this narrative about Israel and the Bronze Age Collapse, and Joshua leading the invasion after Moses’ death is really incredibly concrete.
And if true, of World Importance. It’s a great validation of the Bible, and solving a major historical mystery, suddenly giving a clear view of what transpired of the centuries in the area.”

Has The Bible Been Proven Correct As A Major Historical Text?

by Anthony Migchels — (abridged by henrymakow.com)

In Deuteronomy,  Moses describes the tribulations of the tribes and discusses the invasion of Canaan, and the annihilation of the Amorites and the Hittites, and others. The duty to stick to the Law is the key condition for victory and future security in the Promised Land.
Moses gave these speeches in Moab, which is the East bank of the Jordan. This would be the base from which Israel would strike.

Joshua 1: 1 Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that
the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ minister, saying,
2 Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou,
and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the
    children of Israel.
3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given
unto you, as I said unto Moses.
4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river
Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the
going down of the sun, shall be your coast.
5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy
life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor
    forsake thee.

Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of

  2. Haggai 2:20-23 The Message (MSG)

20-21 God’s Message came a second time to Haggai on that most memorable day, the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month: “Speak to Zerubbabel, the governor of Judah:
21-23 “‘I am about to shake up everything, to turn everything upside down and start over from top to bottom—overthrow governments, destroy foreign powers, dismantle the world of weapons and armaments, throw armies into confusion, so that they end up killing one another. And on that day’”—this is God’s Message—“‘I will take you, O Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, as my personal servant and I will set you as a signet ring, the sign of my sovereign presence and authority. I’ve looked over the field and chosen you for this work.’” The Message of God-of-the-Angel-Armies.

  3. What amazing nonsense! AMAZING! There was no Moses fr a start, and all the Joshua stories are more lies and nonsense. It was actually Thutmose 111 who won all those battles – and that is easily proven by his steles. Joshua won absolutely nothing – if he existed. The Old Testament was written up – that is, it was copied – only in around 200 BC and almost every word of it is false and otherwise copied from the actual histories of the surrounding empires or their mythology.
For instance, the two stories woven to make up the Moses story are actually a hero myth about Sargon the Great (who was put in a basket as a new born and sailed down the River TIGRIS until his basket came to rest in the reeds at the bottom of the garden of the Palace – etc. The rest is the actual history of Hammurabi who was inspired by God to inscribe The Law on stone – and one of his stones is in The Louvre today.
Anthony Migechels needs to do some real studying – he could start with The BIBLE UNEARTHED by Israel Finkelsltein, senior archaeoligist at Tel Aviv University, and then read such books as CHRIST in EGYPT by D.M. Murdock.

  4. “The Bible is not a story about God or the Supreme Being. The Bible is a story about the Anunnaki” —Dr. Jack Pruett

Dr. Jack Pruett, who practiced medicine with Dr. Ron Paul in Texas, was raised as a fundamentalist Christian but after studying the Ancient Alien theory realized that the god of the Bible are real flesh and blood warlords who colonized earth and got humans to kill each other off in wars. Abraham was a general enlisted in ET wars on us.

“One of the core pillars of the Judeo-Christian belief system is the Bible. In essence the Bible has always been portrayed in ancient and modern times as the divine and historical relationship of God with mankind – the ‘word’ of God. Countries have been founded on this premise; churches of all Christian denominations have used the Bible to disseminate the word of God.”

    https://soulinthehologram.wordpress.com/2018/03/15/the-holy-bible-is-about-the-anunnaki/

“The God of the Bible is actually the Anunnaki. The tales of God telling the Israelites to kill are commands of the Anunnaki commander Enlil. The Holy Bible has obscured the truth of the real God, we got God all wrong. The Holy Bible is alien propaganda.

Dr. Jack Pruett’s makes the nuclear bomb statement in his book ‘The Grandest Deception’ that the Bible is not about the Creator Prime, it is about the the creators of the human race, the Anunnaki space pirates who came to earth to steal gold and created humans as slaves.

We have been massively mislead about “god” and abused as a specie. At the center of this book is the Holy Bible, which makes the reader believe that the God giving us commands is the Creator God Prime, but that is not the case, it is really the Anunnaki space lords dictating to us.

Neale Donald Walsch agrees, his best selling book “God’s Message to the World:: You’ve Got Me All Wrong” he lists what we got wrong. I am glad Neale wrote this book and I am floored by the implications, if we got God wrong then we have completely and utterly failed as a specie.”

  5. Astraea’s comment is 100% correct and spot on. No Moses, No King David, and drum role no Jesus. Tis true but no matter how many facts and references we can roll out the believers will change their minds, and most won’t even listen to any information that challenges their belief system.

I have wrote dozens of essays why humans are so resistant to change, and why belief views reasoned thoughts as corruptions of the devil, I suspect that if the Bible is the basis for your reality then undoing that could be quite frightening as the mind would be lost without grounding.

I was raised a strict Catholic, 12 years in schools with nuns and such and they tried to beat their doctrine into me but somehow it didn’t stick – and believe me that pisses off a lot of my own family and relatives. But I gotta be true to myself and stick to my guns and go with my vibe and that vibe is 100% opposed to the Bible vibe of subjugation. I did not teach that book to my own children and they all turned out great BTW.

If you believe in heaven and Jesus is going to give you a free pass, I can see why no Christian would want to give that belief up. It is comforting to say the least because who wants to not exist? How depressing it would be to learn that when you die you die and that’s it. The appeal of Jesus is the great hope for us, but since the world IS going to hell that belief is being seriously challenged.

Here’s the real deal on Jesus. You might be comforted by the myth-man and his teachings but no such thing as sin that keeps your soul from god exists. That idea is very, very evil and needs to be rejected by western man. No human being is guilt for the failed willpower of the tempted fruit eaters in the Anunnaki garden, such and idea is ludicrous and unjust and until man overcomes such guilt tripping he is damned to be a Jew whore.

You have to wonder why Makow and all the other Jewish writers are featured on this fine website. I suspect that the believers want to prove their faith. Nothing against Makow or anyone else but how obvious can it be that the Bible is a gigantic fabrication of whoever and whenever they wrote it. When I read Caesar’s Messiah twice I realized that the New Testament authorship timeline was way the hell off in Christian academia.

I think it is reasonable to suspect any Jew turned Christian as our source of truth.

Atwill proves beyond any doubt that Jesus’s 3 year ministry is the 3 year military campaign of Titus Flavian and that it is typeset 40 years earlier. So the story of Jesus making fishers of men at the Sea of Galilee is the first engagement of Titus who fished out the rebel Zealots they speared in the sea. Rome has a nasty sense of humor.

The point here is the Gospels were written by the captured Josephus AFTER the sack of Jerusalem (70 AD). So if the scholars got that wrong then what assurance do ya have of the Old Testament timeline and who wrote that. The fact that the stories are provable plagerized stories lifted from other civilizations and this guy King David was never a Jew and never lived in Palestine – so what was the point in uprooting so much soil when so many scholars knew the story was fiction? How stupid are all these “smart” people?

  6. Peace be with the reader.

When you therefore see the abomination which is a sign of emptiness, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, let him who reads know that the time has come.
