Finnish study finds ‘practically no’ evidence for man-made climate change

RT – July 12, 2019

A new study conducted by a Finnish research team has found little evidence to support the idea of man-made climate change. The results of the study were soon corroborated by researchers in Japan.

In a paper published late last month, entitled ‘No experimental evidence for the significant anthropogenic climate change’, a team of scientists at Turku University in Finland determined that current climate models fail to take into account the effects of cloud coverage on global temperatures, causing them to overestimate the impact of human-generated greenhouse gasses.

Models used by official bodies such as the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) “cannot compute correctly the natural component included in the observed global temperature,” the study said, adding that “a strong negative feedback of the clouds is missing” in the models.

Adjusting for the cloud coverage factor and accounting for greenhouse gas emissions, the researchers found that mankind is simply not having much of an effect on the Earth’s temperature.

The study’s authors make a hard distinction between the type of model favored by climate scientists at the IPCC and genuine evidence, stating “We do not consider computational results as experimental evidence,” noting that the models often yield contradictory conclusions.

Given the evidence presented in the study, the Finnish team rounded out the paper by concluding “we have practically no anthropogenic climate change,” adding that “the low clouds control mainly the global temperature.”

The results sharply cut against claims put forward by many environmentalists, including US lawmakers such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who argue not only that climate change is an immediate threat to the planet, but that it is largely a man-made phenomenon. Ocasio-Cortez, better known as ‘AOC’, has proposed a ‘Green New Deal’ to address the supposedly dire threat.

Japanese researchers at the University of Kobe arrived at similar results as the Turku team, finding in a paper published in early July that cloud coverage may create an “umbrella effect” that could alter temperatures in ways not captured by current modeling.

  1. Well, that leaves only alien invasion. Huh? Let me explain. In the humorously named “Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion”, they talk about needing a substitute control mechanism for these staged wars. After all, if you have one government controlling the world, one military, etc., you can’t have wars between nations. They came up with three things: terrorism, climate change and alien invasion. They have since ruined the terrorism option by using the terrorists as a proxy army for regime change, such as in Syria. The climate change option never really took hold but is now out, so that leaves alien invasion. It won’t be a real invasion, of course, as we know that is impossible if you understand true reality, but they feel that they can fake one convincingly. Eyes on the skies, guys!

  2. I doubt if any real scientist will ever find any evidence of man made climate change. The fundamental precept of global warming was CO2 was a driver of temperature. That isn’t true, and one chart proves it – long term temperatures on planet earth are not correlated with Carbon Dioxide levels.

Sure, there is an ever widening pool of climate change fraud artists farming grant money making ever more shill claims of humans causing every kind of things – but that isn’t science – it’s politicking for federal largesse. Everything is being blamed on CO2 these days, and the claims are getting more and more ridiculous like frogs are turning gay.

This leads to outrageous insanely stupid projections like new elected Senator Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez – “The World Is Going To End In 12 Years If We Don’t Address Climate Change” or the infamous Dr. David Viner claim (a senior research scientist at the climatic research unit (CRU) of the University of East Anglia) “within a few years winter snowfall will become a very rare and exciting event. “Children just aren’t going to know what snow is.”

After the year 2000 claim that “your children will not know snow” record amounts of snow was recorded all over the planet, including in North Africa and the holy land. But with religion, and climate change IS the new religion, FACTS DON’T MATTER. Skeptics were branded as heretics and Nazi holocaust deniers. Al Gore suggested criminal prosecution for deniers. It’s the witch trials all over again.

These hardened criminals (like Al Gore) are headlined by the mainstream media while real scientists are ignored. So the net result of this lopsided pro-climate change propaganda is that the public believes global warming as an existential threat. What the public believes is a result of an intense media branding campaign. Global Warming is about politics, not science, the politicians want more taxes and control.

What is truly frightening is that politicians are also branded and they are changing laws based on AGW hypothesis. They want to shut down coal fired power plants while we are in an Ice Age. For some reason no one no longer believes reality that we are in an Ice Age. We are in an interglacial (Holocene) that is tapering off just like all previous interglacials.

So the big question is CO2 going to stop or reverse the Ice Age. Absolutely NOT! CO2 is a trace gas, and this trace gas is not correlated to temperature change, and during previous Ice Ages CO2 could be 10 times higher than now, 3,000 – 4,000 ppm and having no effect on the weather. Almost all heating of CO2 is in the first 20 ppm and subsequent additions fall off as an inverse logarithm.

The next question is whether humans can change the weather (outside of Chem Trail spraying which only changes local weather patterns and jet stream course). In order to investigate that we have to examine how much sun energy is being received on the planet vs. human fossil fuel energy use. The sun inputs 175,000 Terrawatts per hour and human emit 160,000 Tw per year – meaning that the sun is 9400 times greater than anthropocentric forces.

I would like to make the observation that Chem Trail spraying of the atmosphere is really stupid, maybe even dangerously suicidal for mankind. If you are on the edge of a new Ice Age (temperature dropoff to lower earth temperatures) then reflecting sunlight from reaching earth may be a really bad move.
