Back in the 1980s when I was in my 20s I knew I might live to see the beginning of the end of America. Had an encounter with a guy at the supermarket checkout last night. He was wearing a t-shirt with statement printed on it related to veteran suicides. I suggested to him that maybe we should stop fighting wars for Israel and creating more psychologically and physically damaged veterans. He was offended by my comment and walked away mumbling.
