In 1965, Helen Gurley Brown, the editor of Cosmopolitan, said that a housewife was “a parasite, a dependent, a scrounger, a sponge or a bum.” She didn’t call them whores because she respects whores.
Her sister-in-arms, Betty Friedan, compared homemakers to “concentration camp inmates” because of the lack of stimulation and opportunity for advancement in concentration camps. (The Feminine Mystique, p. 306)

In 40 short years, the marriage rate is down by one-third, the divorce rate has doubled, the birth rate is one-half, and single-parent families per capita have tripled. So, full disclosure, I was actually in that shit-rag Cosmopolitan, and a bunch of other similar magazines back in the day. Several people over the years have tried to get me to model, as I have always been tall and quite fit, have more than a full head of luxurious blonde hair, and apparently considered easy on the eyes by the fairer gender. But I have always been uncomfortable being photographed. I have turned down many offers for photo shoots, but one I did agree to go on was when my girlfriend in the early 2000s, she lived in Manhattan, worked for a very upscale photography company. In a moment of weakness and following her offers of carnal rewards, she dragged me out to a shoot. I was delighted to see the other model was a stunningly beautiful young lass, about 5’11”, and dressed very casually. Wardrobe put me in shorts and a t-shirt with the sleeves cut off. They handed us a football (an American football, that is) and directed me and the statuesque beauty to literally roll around together and goof with the football. I was like, “Uh, sure, I can do that.”
Anyway, long story short, I had no idea what the shoot was for at the time but they ended up using a photo from it in a national advertisement for Secret deodorant. I didn’t even know until someone presented me a copy of Cosmo with my ad a couple years later, and it turns out it was in all sorts of rags around 2003. Now they put morbidly obese and mentally ill land-whales on the covers….
Though, to put it mildly, I’ve had more than my fair share of pu$$y – served-up on a silver platter because of all the clueless limp-wristed wankers out there who women wouldn’t look twice at –
