Ukrainians should be wary of McCain. Earlier this year he was in Syria meeting with known <\/span>terrorists<\/span><\/a>. In addition to lobbying for more direct U.S. military involvement in the conflict.<\/h5>\nThis was before the chemical weapons attacks on Syrian civilians in September, which were initially blamed on government forces but later turned out to be a false flag, carried out by ‘rebels’ covertly supported by U.S. and sponsored by the Gulf states.<\/h5>\n
When McCain first advocated U.S. military intervention he had proposed using chemical weapons attacks by Syrian government forces as a “red <\/span>line<\/span><\/a>“, for such involvement.<\/h5>\n
As became apparent in the weeks and months following the outrage, the <\/span>Al Ghouta chemical weapons<\/span> attack<\/span><\/a> was staged by ‘Syrian rebels’. Whether he knew this or not, McCain was lobbying for exactly the sort of U.S. military intervention that Al Ghouta was meant to provoke.<\/h5>\n
Fortunately, the spectre of Russian intervention on Assad’s behalf and the emergence of proof that Al Ghouta was indeed a false flag prevented that.<\/h5>\n
Nonetheless, McCain’s appearance may well auger more covert Western intervention in the Ukraine. <\/span><\/h5>\n
