Gilad Sharon, son of Ariel Sharon, wrote in the Jerusalem Post <\/span><\/a>that Israel should \u201cFlatten all of Gaza.\u201d<\/h5>\n
\"\"<\/a>\u201cThere should be no electricity in Gaza, no gasoline or moving vehicles, nothing. Then they\u2019d really call for a ceasefire,\u201d he wrote. \u201cWe need to flatten entire neighbourhoods in Gaza. Flatten all of Gaza. The Americans didn\u2019t stop with Hiroshima \u2013 the Japanese weren\u2019t surrendering fast enough, so they hit Nagasaki, too.\u201d<\/h5>\n
Many Israelis and even some Zionists are \u2018outraged\u2019\u00a0 but the truth must be told \u2013 Sharon\u2019s views are fully consistent with Zionism, Israeli thinking and some aspect of Jewish culture.<\/h5>\n
For example, Sharon\u2019s call is fully consistent with some devastating Old Testament\u2019s passages:<\/h5>\n
\u2018You will chase your enemies, and they shall fall by the sword before you. Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight; your enemies shall fall by the sword before you.\u2019 Leviticus<\/em>, 26:7\u20138<\/h5>\n
\u2018When the Lord your God brings you into the land you are entering to possess and drives out before you many nations \u2026 you must destroy them totally. Make no treaty with them, and show them no mercy.\u2019 Deuteronom<\/em>y 7:1\u20132<\/h5>\n
\u2018Do not leave alive anything that breathes. Completely destroy them \u2026 as the Lord your God has commanded you \u2026\u2019 Deuteronomy<\/em> 20:16<\/h5>\n
So, both like his real father and his spiritual forefathers, the young Sharon wants to destroy the Gazans, he wants to reduce them and their civilization into dust \u2013 thoughts unfortunately embedded in the Old Testament. Though religious Jews following the Talmud rather than the Torah and may be critical of literal interpretations of the Holly book, Gilad Sharon, is a secular Israeli and yet he follows here the most banal and literal interpretation of the Biblical text.<\/h5>\n
Sharon is also in line with ultra-Zionist Vladimir Jabotinsky\u2019s Iron Wall<\/span><\/a> philosophy. Jabotinsky believed that in the erection of an \u2018iron wall\u2019 \u201cwhich the native (Arab) population cannot break through.\u201d Some would argue that by 1948 Jabotinsky\u2019s Iron wall, became the backbone of Israeli political pragmatism and though largely performed by his\u00a0 political enemies, the Nakba could be seen as the materialisation of Jabotinsky\u2019s ideology.\u00a0\u00a0<\/h5>\n
Sharon\u2019s views are also similar to those expressed this week by Israel\u2019s deputy P.M., Eli Yishai, who contended \u201cwe must blow Gaza back to the Middle Ages destroying all the infrastructure including roads and water.\u201d<\/h5>\n
The young Sharon is clearly a truth teller. He offers us a genuine glimpse into the murderous Israeli psychosis, and the message to be drawn is obvious. It is now time to admit that we cannot grasp the Israeli collective psychosis and fascination with violence and death without a deep understanding of Jewish culture, Jewish supremacy and Jewish tribalism.<\/h5>\n
For obvious reasons some Jews and even a few Palestinians do not want us to take this route and insist that we avoid any criticism of the Jewishness of the \u2018Jewish State\u2019. This bankrupted philosophy would be almost\u00a0 funny if it weren\u2019t so tragic –\u00a0 Elaborating on the root cause of Zionist barbarism is now an elementary humanist obligation.<\/h5>\n
I guess that we have reached the point of no return. We must now critically examine Jewish politics, Jewish Lobbying, and Israeli crimes in the context of Jewish culture. Such an approach may save the world and hopefully, it might also save many Jews of the shackles of their own heritage.<\/h5>\n

An Anecdote<\/h2>\n

I was actually amused to learn today that the notorious Zionist Jeffrey Goldberg, himself an ex IDF concentration camp guard, was amongst the first to denounce Gilad Sharon. Here is how he referred to Sharon\u2019s article on Twitter:<\/h5>\n

\u201cGilad Sharon has called on Israel to bomb Gaza to oblivion. I’m semi-surprised the Jerusalem Post published such dreck.\u201d<\/h5>\n
It is not at all clear at all whether Goldberg opposes Sharon\u2019s views. However, it is obvious that Goldberg is tormented by the idea that Sharon\u2019s view may leak out. \u2018I’m semi-surprised the Jerusalem Post published such dreck\u2019 he says. Goldberg believes that the murderous aspects so\u00a0intrinsic to tribal supremacy are better kept within the ghetto walls. He doesn\u2019t want the Goyim to know. So predictably Goldberg was amongst the first to attack my book, \u2018The Wandering Who\u2019, and pursued my endorsers<\/span><\/a> \u00a0for the exact same reasons. He was very concerned about what people read about Israel, Zionism, Jewish identity politics, and the ideology that motivates himself to serve in our midst as a Zionist agent.<\/h5>\n
